((Please ask to join before joining. This is a continuation from a rp over AIM involving Ari/Asi/Denahi/Rehani family xd ))
Rehani nodded, mumbling a small apology, unable to help herself. She met the queen's eyes, wondering what the problem was with her. She could talk to her mother with no problem, and it wasn't the fact that this wasn't a member of her pride. As a cub, Rehani'd been closer to some rogue cubs than her own siblings, Denahi being one of them. She didn't answer for Baakir, letting him deal with his own issue.
Baakir shook his head at Denahi. "This one showed up one day when me and Bari were smaller, claiming he was our dad. He ain't." He stated the fact as if it were obvious, that a blind cub could see plainly that they were not his children.
It was quite ironic to have mentioned the comment about the blind cub, seeing as Ari had bore one into this world. She only smiled, shaking her head. "Well, that is quite a lie isn't it." She giggled. "Why don't you believe he is your father? Though, I'm not on either side here, seeing as I just met you, and I have not seen my son in a while." She shrugged.
"You can't be serious." Denahi growled, shifting himself to a more comfortable posistion while the small cub lied on his back. "Just show him Da'! That'll make them realize it. Lookit Bari! She is the smae color as him." Denahi said.
"Am not! Come on Baakir, we don't need them to get home!" She growled, tugging slightly on Baakir's tail so they could head home.
Baakir nodded, glad to see that at least one adult (Okay, well one of the lions gathered was still an adolescent, but still) saw the truth, at least partway. "I don't believe him 'cause he don't look like any of us, and... he just isn't!" He turned as his tail was tugged, nodding. It was the final say on the matter in his opinion. The dark lion couldn't be his dad, no matter how much his mom loved him. "Yeah, let's go." He started to walk away from the small gathering unhappily.

His meeting with his older brother had been interesting, seeing as Kenai hadn't been aware of having any brothers. Only his three sisters and Sy-sy! His tail swung back and forth as he hopped about his father, half wondering where they were going, half still spitting out questions to his father. Asi answered each one, though it was obvious he was becoming worn out.
Asi hushed Kenai though, once he spotted a small gathering ahead. He blinked, brows raising. So the Denahi hadn't been lying, not at all. His eyes flicked over the gathering, snorting. His ears shifted a little and his brows raised as the two cubs turned to leave. "An where yeh be lea'in with ou' yer paren's?" He asked gruffly, stopping in their path. Kenai was positioned between his father's big paws, staring delightedly at the two other cubs.

Good, Baakir was following. Bari was about to beginning a brisk trot, until the large mocha adult stepped in her way, followed by the wheat yellow male inbetween his foreapws. "Outtamyway Rogue!" She growled, glaring at Asi, unaware that his fur and her fur where the exact in color. "We're surround, Baakir." Bari growled, hissing at Kenai.
"My mum doesn't want to go if that's what you are refering to!" Bari hissed at Asi.
Denahi sighed, "Stop playing their game mum. Speak of the devil there's da'. See the alikeness in your two pelts?" He asked over to Bari, who seemed to ignore him. Denahi sighed, "This is going to be a failure..." The adult said to his mate.
Ari watched the two kids turn to leave, only to smile widely as Asi tried to stop them. "Asi, this is...Baridi'akali? and Baakir?" She questioned about the name, though she didn't say they were related to them.

Baakir stopped, looking up at the lion which was blocking him and Bari from home. "We're going home. Mom can catch up if she wants to follow." He replied, though Denahi's statement about his sister's pelt didn't pass by his ears unnoticed. Pah! Coincidence. He looked at the other cub, growling quietly.
Rehani nodded at Denahi, though she had been hoping the opposite. They just weren't going to listen, were they? "That's their names." The pridelander said, hoping the mother of her mate would be forgiving enough for her grandcubs' rudeness.

Asi frowned at Bari'akali for a moment, then turned his gaze to Ari, smiling lovingly at her. "Bari an' Baakir?" He smirked slightly. Both B names, how... cute? He looked back to the cub, whom did resemble him in pelt color. He wasn't aware of Ari's game though. "Denahi, these be yer chilluns? Certainly 'ave yer haughtiness and rudeness." He stated, not really minding who it offended.
After a moment he looked around, for Rehani. A pretty little thing, wasn't she? Just like Amari's little doll, the same color. Or close to it, if Asi remembered correctly. "Yeh do see 'ow they be actin', do yeh no?" His head tilted. Yes, Asi had gained some grasps on how to handle a cub. Not that he'd done it right the first time. "Yeh shoul' no le'em trea' yeh this way." He stated, then shifted, standing and nudging at Kenai to follow, as he moved passed the little ones and toward his mate. He nuzzled against her and sat, brows raising at Kenai. Oh well, he didn't actually tell Kenai to come.
Why did this cubs not think they belong to Denahi and Rehani? One with a pelt close to his mothers, though he had a distinct 'ari backstripe' which quite a few of his own children had recieved. He looked hard enough and spotted a slight marking that blended into the back-stripe, he thought that was from Denahi. There was the bit of the creemy tail, simular to Tamu's. The green eyes, so like his mother. But the little girl, she was related to them hands down. He hadn't spotted any other lions with a coffee colored pelt, minus his own daughters. Her eyes weren't quite as blue as his son's, but he figured that had to do with the mixing of the green. She had the same eye markings as 'nahi, and it looked like the tail tuff was from her mother, which was a very pretty color of hair.
But Kenai did not follow his papa, he was too interested in the cubs! He looked from 'nahi to the older female back to the ones his age, tail flicking and eyes wide. "Oh! Oh, yeh guys are like Taabu!" He chirped up, though they'd have no clue who Taabu was, seeing that he was Kenai's nephew.
"Don't go 'ome! Play games!" He said, bouncing from paw to paw as he watched them, hoping they'd stay.

"Who are you calling hauntiness and rudeness!" Bari sqeauled, snarling loudly at Asi. She didn't like this one, even /if/ we had the same pelt color as her. Her teal eyes narrowed at Kenai. "We don't play games with rogues," She sneered, claws extended as she growled like a little spoiled brat.
"And who cares if me and him have the same color pelt! Raincheck mister, a lot of lions can have this pelt." She growled, flicking her tail in annoyance.
Denahi glared at his father, but didn't say a word. He was about to say something that would probably start a fight with the older male, but the charcoal prince restrained himself.
Ari purred as Asi nuzzled her. "They don't think Denahi's their father," She said in a whisper to her mate.

"He got his rudeness from somewhere," Baakir muttered, looking up at the large lion with a small glare. He started to move again before he realized that his sister wasn't going again, and that there was still the other cub in their way. The name spoken by the other male didn't click in his mind, though the thought of play did. No one besides Bari had ever really played with him, and the proposition of playing with another was tempting. The call of home defeated the temptation by miles. "I'm not gonna play here." Had the cub approached him at home, he might have played something with him, but not right now. He looked at Bari, waiting for her to go, because there was no way in the circle he was going back into the forest alone.
"I see how they act, sir." Rehani responded quietly, looking at the father of her Denahi. She didn't think she could do much about it. After all, she had been left to her own devices and had turned out fine, though she didn't approve of the attitudes her cubs had taken on. She looked to Denahi, then back to the sleeping cub on his back. Why couldn't they all sleep like that right now?

Asi snorted. "Serves him righ', 'e deserves a' bi'o 'ell e'ery now an' then." Though his tail flicked and he watched Bari a moment. "Aye, an' 'ow many 'ave yeh me', miss priss?" Perhaps he shouldn't be calling cubs names, but man some pridelanders needed to get that stick out of their arse. "me? I can coun' a few tha' be from me own bloodline. Bu' tha' be it."
Asi looked around to Rehani, and chuckled. "Ah, I see." She she wasn't going to do anything about it? Great. Just what the world needed, more lions like Denahi running around. If she didn't do anything about her cubs.. thats how they turned out. Or so Asi feared.
Kenai flinched away from Bari, looking a little hurt. "I do no know what a rogue is, though." He muttered quietly, then looked to Baakir. "Why not! This is a good play spot.. better at the wa'er holes... fun games, promise!" He only usually played with Taabu or his sisters. Which was fun but.. kind of hard, at the same time.
After a moment though he slipped passed the two, moving in front of Rehani. "Da, is this another sissy?" He asked, figuring that she was, since she was with Denahi. Obviously he knew nothing of mates, XD
