Well, I do believe Jeanne, the rune shop lady, has a True Rune, what it is however, perhaps nobody knows. I believe this, cause she hasn't changed much in all four Suikoden games so far. sweatdrop

I was even going to create a topic about this myself when my membership was accepted, but I was too slow *shrugs* Oh well.

Story-wise though, Hugo seems best fit as the True Fire rune bearer, Geddoe with True Lightning, and Chris with True Water, considering Geddoe already has True Lightning, but if he's picked as the True Fire rune bearer in Suikoden III, Hugo ends up with True Lightning, and Chris's father was the True Water rune bearer before his demise. So those are the most fitted choices, but it all depends on how you play the game really. sweatdrop

However, with the site supplied by Melikochan there are only 17 of the total 27 runes known, meaning there are still 10 more, wonder what they could be. Runes from that site that you haven't listed Sprx117 are: Change, Circle, Eightfold, and Night.

I recommend that you also list previous owners, like for example with the Rune of Punishment, there was Commander Glen before IV's Hero...and before Commander Glen...it was...hmmm well the person's name has left my memory for the moment, but there were at least two people before that guy also. So there were at the very least (obviously there were more I'm sure) four succesors before IV's Hero. whee

well to sum it up here are the facts

1.the game time line was this sui4 150 years before 1 sui1 150 after 4 sui2 3 years later sui3 15 years later

2. the dog in sui3 can see her true form (whatever that is...

3.viki from sui4 started to reconize jeane and then jeane began avoiding her (viki goes through the games in proper order)

what she isn't:
she does not possess a true rune
the suikoden makers say so plus in sui3 lilly looked for a rune on jeane in a bath scene
she is not a vampire
for one thing only sierra and neclord remained sane after blue moon villiage was toasted and sierra said so
she is not reincarnated
to put it simply she looks the same always and to much time passed in 1 2 3 for her to look the same and not enough for her to come back that age

popular theories on things she could be:
she is a sindar/cindar
well we dont know what they looked like and all all we do know is that there leader aquired the rune of change and they wandered eternaly until they found the eternal city
she is realy good with magic
another posability is that she has found runes and spells that grant her imortality
she is a true rune
they said she didn't have a true rune which makes sence since her apearance never changes in fact this would explain everything who knows she might even be the rune of change
she is a clone like luc and sassari
well this speaks for itself my theory in this regard is that the sindar leader reached the eternal city and discovered the cloning trick and created a clone thet held the rune of change named jeane
she is sexy!
an incredibly popular theory that seems solid though she said 'you can see my true form' to the dog it makes one wonder....

this theory is that she is an old which who is skilled in the art of illusion its the same theory as the "realy good with magic" only saying she doesn't stay young forever
