Flit cautiously wandered past the woods he had grown accustom to. Today was the first day he would wander past the woods and go near the ocean. Since his arrival in his new pack lands, he had stuck close to the woods and the meadow, not venturing very far away from the tree line. he was still a little nervous about the strange, new land he had grown accustom to calling 'home.' Flit sighed and shook his head.
When has he called anywhere 'home?' Was it after he was born and lived with his non-existant mother? Was it when he started wandering and calling everywhere he traveled home? Or was it now, when he finally had somewhere to call home? He had no clue when or how he had made it a daily ritual to call places 'home.' It was lost...like his memories of his childhood. Lost like the memories of his mother or father or sibling. Lost like his fist love-if he ever had any.
Taking delicate steps he caught the sweet smell of the ocean breeze. He looked up to find the ocean stretching for miles on end. 'This is a dream,' he thought to himself. He stopped himself from biting his own leg and gazed at the bright ocean in front of him. The scents of other wolves filled his nose, too, as he ventured closer and closer towards the beach. It was then that he saw another wolf at the base of the river that bled into the ocean. He stopped in his tracks and looked down at the snowy white wolf near the river. He lowered his tail slightly as he quietly approached the femme, his head lowered slightly to indicate that he wasn't here to attack her. He stopped a few feet away from the river and pawed at the ground shyly. He hoped that she had caught his bright pelt and was in the mood to talk to him.

Flit gazed at the lone femme before finally speaking. "Good morning, miss. I was just on my daily stroll through the woods when I decided it was time for me to explore the ocean side of my Lord's lands," he said calmly to Anya. He gazed out at the ocean for a few moments before turning his gaze back to the femme in front of him.
"Beautiful sunrise, huh? I've never seen one so beautiful before. Maybe it might be because of the ocean." He flicked his tail slightly and twitched an ear. He had seen many sunrises that were beautiful, but the ocean made this one spectiacular. If only his 'mate', Eisig, could see it. He sat down on his haunches and pawed at the ground. The soft sand on the edge of the river was fine-grained and very pale. He thumped his tail on the ground, causing small puffs of dust to rise up and engulf his tail.
