CLOSED - BYE BYE
I'm sorry people but I'm going off to Uni and although I'll still have a computer with internet I will no longer have a scanner or all the other bits and bobs. So I've decided to close up this shop, probably forever.
Don't Worry! If you still have a commission due then it shall be done and sent to you. They're all on my computer. Sorry for the huge delays on them all... sweatdrop So many excuses....
Anyway, bye bye shop! And thanks to everyone who sent me commissions. I hope you liked them.
*sniff*
Yep, I've decided to start a little shop. Well... I need the money. And I've never done a shop before.
Ok so here's how it works - You either post in this thread or PM me with what sort of picture you would like done, what style, what for, what text, what pictures... All the whats. Then - if it's not already clearly stated in the shop here - I'll give you a price and then go make your art!
That's the simplest way. Of course things are never as simple as they first seem so I will make up any extra instructions as they are needed.
NB: Do not post non-shop related comments here (please!).
Prices List and Examples
Since my first few weeks were a practise I've now restructured my pricing system a little... I'm sorry if some stuff costs more.

The basic coloured in cartoon. I can do it more/less detailed I just put this particular one in cos it makes me smile and shows my general style of drawing.
A coloured picture like this would be between 200 and 1000 gold depending on size. eg. this one above would be 300 gold. A wopping great huge one with loads of Doctors would be between 700 and 1000 gold depending on details and colours asked for.
DESKTOPS - These are 500 gold for a photo-based one (i.e. made out of cut-out photos) or 800 for a hand-drawn one.

My fav black and white style drawing. Involved thick black outlines and all that... Basic drawing like this is 300 - 500 gold depending on size.

I love to do gifs too. This one is what I like to call an 'epic' gif as it involved over 500 frames (arrgh...) which is why I've shrunk it for here. Mostly I do much simpler gifs. Their prices vary depending on the amount of frames - as an example one like this would cost you 200 gold.
Simpler ones with less than 50 frames are 100 gold.

This is a bit of a movie clip turned into a gif. I'll do these at a flat rate of 100 gold (including text). These depend on me actually having the clip though.
Other Stuff: I'll mix any photos/art/text/gifs you like. I'll also do Gaia Avatar art as well. Want something completely different? Just ask! I won't laugh. Whatever it is.
In case you haven't noticed the pricing system is a little complicated at the moment. Hopefully as I do more stuff I'll work it out better - if you're confused just PM me. The point is that this signature art is 'personalised' which means there is no one way of doing these.
The Important Thing: Ask For What You Want.
Please remember: If you want something NOT related to Doctor Who then do not post in this thread - PM me instead.
Please also remember: I do NOT approve of any naked Doctor art. So this costs extra. xp
Final Note: You must host these images yourself. Although I do not mind hosting the images for the main guild thread I will not host personal signature art. Please find your own webspace!
Thank you to seffy_chan for giving this the go ahead!

Okay, I'll give this a try. And yes, this is a serious commission request. I'd like something sort of like a parody of this publicity poster for Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure: Ideally, what I'd want would be to have the telephone booth framed straight on some surface (rather than flying through the air at a tilt), with all 10 Doctors crammed into the thing kind of like this... AND Bill and Ted sitting on the top, posing similarly to what's shown in the poster. That would make it a total of 12 people, plus an American-style telephone box, with or without some sort of background (I'd leave it to you to decide on that, based on your asthetic preferences). So, if you were to accept this proposal, how much would it cost as B&W, and how much as color? And if I paid for a colorized version, would you throw in a copy of the pre-colorized version free of charge?

Hmm... Do you want this all drawn? Obviously I'd have to draw the Doctors, but would you like Bill + Ted drawn too or cut out and pasted on top?
As far as cost goes... I'll have to do some sketches first and see. I would throw in the black and white free though if I did it colour.
EDIT: I have done some preliminary sketches. I figure since I put 100 for a colour one then I shall stick with it. And it's the first time I've drawn 10 Doctors crammed into a phone booth so you can judge for yourself how well that turns out! confused
But I am definitely raising the price of coloured ones from now on...
So it's 100 gold colour incl. b+w original (which I have to make anyway so it doesn't make much odds to me...)

So it's 100 gold colour incl. b+w original (which I have to make anyway so it doesn't make much odds to me...) I'd be happy to pay a lot more than 100 g for a picture of the type I described (I figure there'd be more cost per character, so that's why I asked). I'm not a stickler for details... basically, as long as it's got all 10 Doctors, and is vaguely a parody of Bill & Ted, I think I'd go for it. It's probably unrealistic to cram that many people in a box, so you could instead replace Bill & Ted with 2 of the Doctors (of your choice) posing like them. And if that's still too many people inside, you could have a few Doctors clinging on the outside... maybe McGann hanging on for dear life at the bottom. The phone booth could be flying through the time vortex instead of on the ground. Whatever. As long as it's funny. As far as style, I was hoping for something similarly cartoony to that desktop you made with the Doctors all riding together on Bessie. If you're still interested in the commission, PM me with a rough idea of what you think is feasible, and what you think would be a more reasonable price (I think 100 g is just way too cheap for the amount of effort required).

Ok here it is! Don't worry, I can still make any changes you like, including size (as big/small as you like). The background can change too - I'm not sure why the desert. confused Since the PMs are down you'll have to post any info here... If you are happy then please find a place for this and tell me when it's safely downloaded! Cheers. (I'll give you your black and white version when you approve the size etc...)

'nuther request. I want a parody of this image: Except that it should have Pertwee holding the key, and the car should be Bessie (a bit obvious, but hey... I never claimed to be original). You don't have to conform strictly to the layout of the image, as long as the general idea is there. Oh, and Bessie should actually look like she's been pimped up (flashy new paint job, etc.), rather than that plain old yellow color she normally sports. In color.

I had copied the URL of the original, then resized it 50% on my Photobucket account, but instead of pasting the Photobucket image link in my post, I put the original instead. Should have been paying more attention! sweatdrop

Eeek... drawing cars. Well, I suppose I have to learn sometime...
Okay but there shall be a slight delay whilst I finish off another request. Some people have got this ridiculous notion that I actually wanted them to buy my artwork... confused
Also I am doing my contest submission! *frantically searches for ideas*
Just one thing - if Bessie isn't yellow, how will people recognise it?

Well, I don't know about other people, but I've been using your art shop to do stuff that I would have drawn myself, if I had any artistic ability to speak of. About Bessie... her basic color should still be yellow, but she could have flames, or whatever artistic touch-ups you can think of. Like this: I was tempted to suggest something like the Mystery Machine van in Scooby-Doo, but then realized what an awful idea that was. Anyway, there's no particular rush. Finish your contest submission(s)!!!

Another commission complete: The only problem? It's a little big. I believe Gaia has certain restrictions... sad But any smaller and it's unreadable/grainy so here it is. If you like I can make it bigger! xp But that wouldn't really help anyone.
