Ok, I have the most awesome parents in the world........because in June of 2007, I am going to Paris, France with 8 of my friends. It's going to cost 1800 dollars a person but that includes everything, a carnet ((I think that's what it's called, it's a 10 pass ticket for the subway)), two meals a day, large breakfast/lunch, supper, the hotel ((VERY NICE HOTEL, hehe center-city of Paris.......is where it's at)). It also includes the ticket and entrance fees to the Lourve, the Paris Opera house, and the Eiffel tower.

The first day is the Eiffel tower tours and around that area, and just visitign the parks and things and the Arc de Triumph.

The second day is the Opera region, the Paris Opera house ((WOOOOOOOOT, I'll try to get into box 5 hehe)) and eatting in that area, touring the outdoor shops and things.

The third and fourth day are spent completely at the Lourve because of it's size and how long it takes to get into it, especially during tourist season.

The fifth day is Notre Dame, and the 6th is I believe....uhhhh Mon Marte or some of the other cathedrals and then we're coming back that night....ugh over night flight, bah oh well, getting to go to Paris is worth it.

^_^ I'm getting a memory card for my digital camera so I'll be absolutely sure to take lots of pictures of the Paris Opera house and put them on the guild and if anyone is interested, the other places in Paris. Hehe, I'm so excited, it's a dream come true!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woah! That sounds like so much fun.. I wish I could go to Paris. My French class is going there for this summer, but I'm not going because my parents won't let me.. It's a lot of money, anyway. I hope you have fun when you go in June! I'd love to see pictures. I wish Erik was still around so maybe you could get a snapshot of him somewhere in the opera house. XP

YAY FOR YOU!!! I've been to the Opera region a couple times, and I've been to an operaballet in the Garnier, but I've never really gotten to tour it (coming up this summer!). Oh, and be sure to visit the Musee d'Orsay too. They have a little inside model of the Garnier.

Yeah I know, if Erik still were alive, I'd deffinently get a snap shot while groping....I mean with my arm wrapped around him and hoped that he would do the same hehe.........Oh and for the Broadway play, good grief I wish so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would be amazing to see the play, but I've never ha the chance to. I think my mom is letting me because I'll be 18 then, luckily, but it was awesome that they're letting me, I'm just saving as much money as I possibly can before I go, plus the fee for all of the stuff, which 1800 is not that bad.

How cool. I hope you enjoy it. The times I went to France it was to see family *yawn*
I would rather see the Paris Opera house instead.

OMG! Good for you! I just came back from paris and it was great! For the opera house? They won't let you down into the basement... cry or the theatre either..... sad But anyway, it's amazing there! If you can, try to get seats for a performance, The theatre is AMAZING!!!!! (You can't see anything from the portholes outside) And the Grand Staircase... omg. It is crazy. And the Eiffel Tower? It's really hi-tech. They have a couple of giftstores up there, a couple of antiques, and when you go around the top, in every direction, they tell you what is there exactly. Oh yeah, and you have to go to the restraunt Romain Bistro. It's really good. And yeah, that's about it. I'm done. xd
