Quick Search To find a certain definition quickly, hit "ctrl+f" on your computer and imput the desired word. -If the word has "ene" at the beginning or "suu" at the end, remove it before seaching.- (ie: "Eneidme" would just be "Idme".) ..Introduction to Kunkunese..
All Pala are born with the ability to speak this odd little fey language. The origin of the language lie with the Pala's cousins, the Kunkuns, hence the name "Kunkunese". Not all Pala will speak Kunkunese (as they may just decide they like English better), but it's generally assumed that all Pala understand it. Many will mix English into their Kunkunese or switch back and forth between languages, this is perfectly fine. Some may even forget how to speak or understand Kunkunese altogether, though this will probably(hopefully ;'<) be rare.
There are quite a few words that can be expressed in Kunkunese, so trying to learn it may be a little daunting at first. Also, don't be too concerned with getting everything perfectly right away, just make sure to spell the words you do use correctly (or else people might not be able to translate your sentances X3).
Most importantly, this is a language created for the sole purpose of having fun! So please try to enjoy it. n__n
A few notes on the mechanics of Kunkunese: .Kunkunese sentance structure is the same as english, so no worries there. n.n .'a' often takes the place of words like 'to', 'the' and 'with' etc. ___"Sayebat a erhi sali." = "Welcome to my home." ___"San idme a book." = "I want the book." ___"A jugdre teln fanyik." = "The food is yucky." ___"Aru tabassuu a jugdre panat." = "She went to the restaurant." .It's worthwile to note that kunkunese has only one word for every form of a verb. ___ex. Teln= "To be", (I) am, (You) are, (He) is, ect... .If the subject of a sentance is obvious, it may be left out. ___ex. When asked Telneke(How are you) you could answer: Yendre= "I'm good" or Ryooku= "I'm doing badly." .To clarify past-tense, Pala will add '-suu' to the end of a verb. To make it a future tense, add 'Jaa' to the front of the word, without attaching it. ___ex. Disasuu= "I played." or Telnsuu disa= "I was playing." ___ex. Jaa disa= "I'm going to play." .Also, to make a verb negative, you simply add "Ene" to the begining of the verb. ___ex. Eneidme saa= "I don't want that." ___ex. Tan jaa enetabas a eran= "He won't be going with us."
Kunkunese Discussion Anyone may post in this thread and discuss things of a Kunkunese-ish nature (or just telling us we did a good job.. ; ; we needs teh luvin). We'd appreciate the pointing out of any mistakes with the dictionary (like if Paper accidently used the same word twice somewhere or things like that XD) or pointing out words that are awkward and you think should be changed. You may also make suggestions about mechanics, and of course, you can make suggestions on words you'd like to see added. Try coming up with new Kunkunese words and maybe you'll see them included into the official dictionary! <3
Note: Please refrain from coming up with words on your own and using them regularly as Kunkunese without having them approved and added to the dictionary. I only discouraged this because I want -all- Kunkunese words to be accessable for translation and if you go and start creating new words willy nilly, no one will understand what you're saying XD;;. I just don't want there to be any confusion, goodness knows there will already be enough of that with the Pala running loose!

I love kunkunese! heart
Been thinking Kuns' at least would likely use a word for "more" or "again". It could be one word meaning either, & posibly "repeat" too.
*thinks* I've not an idea for what the word might be, unfortunately. *sheepish* Just that I know Tien would certainly use it. wink
