Thank you. I love clothes, and I have always had a hard time finding clothes that looked the way I wanted them too. So, I started designing as a hobby. I once designed a wedding dress based on every letter of the alphabet. xd

biggrin Funky ^_^ Ever tried making any of your designs? My only experience with making clothes was when I wanted a big black robe for halloween, I ended up making a half decent go at it smile

I designed and sold a green leather dress, which was a Star Wars Fan costume. I made $350 on that one. It was an ankle length dress, with slits to the hip, laced up the back, princess seams, and a cotton underdress. It's certainly the first time I'd ever heard the phrase 'modest leather dress'! I also did a Jedi-ish robe out of wool jersey, which turned out completely awesome. At least, until the woman's daughter washed it in hot water. rolleyes

I wish. I couldn't afford the tuition with Financial Aid, selling my soul, and everything else I own. I'd have to win the Lottery. gonk But, at least I can make my own designs, and if people like them, I know how to make them. I've been sewing since I was about 8yrs old.

Hey, I'm also in a creative field. I'm a filmmaker, and I'm also somebody who knows what looks good, sounds good, and what works.....

I just hope I find you working in film business. I'm part of the "indy film revolution" and one thing we don't have that hollywood has is a talent like yours.

I LOOOOVE making costumes of any kind. I'm into all kinds of weird movies, because I love the costumes, special effects, and animation. I'd sell my bo-sou- something valuable to work on a movie. (sorry I took so long to respond. New job. At a Wal-Mart portrait studio. *shudders* but, it's a paycheck.

Well, if you have talent with costumes, I suggest you contact local indy filmmakers and see if your services will help them... Myspace is great for contacting film crews.

Oh, I hate myspace.

But I must admit, for a struggling filmmaker like myself, it's helped alot.
