Ok, for my final project in my psychology class is on the subject of homosexuality/ transsexuality/ bisexuality/pansexuality in today's teens, compared to previous years, and how it effects them mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. So if you wouldn't mind answering a few questions for me I would be grateful.

3.Have you come out to your parents/parent?: No.
4. Do you sometimes feel to be a lesser person for being a GLBT teen?: Yes.
5. Do you feel that you are accepted by your community?: (Do you mean as a GLBT?)
6.Has your sexual identity affected your religious views?: No.

Do you sometimes feel to be a lesser person for being a GLBT teen?: Nah. I'm pretty comfortable where I'm at. 5. Do you feel that you are accepted by your community?: Eh... sometimes. My friends are generally ok with it, they even joke with me about it, and I joke back with them in similar ways. I don't go around parading the fact that I'm gay, so in some ways I feel supressed by my sexuality, but in other ways, I just feel like a normal teen. 6.Has your sexual identity affected your religious views?: Not to a great extent. I've had to rethink some of my views on different things, but I feel more comfortable with my beliefs now. 7.If you have not come out, do you ever feel angry/depressed for seemingly no particular reason at times? Not really... Sometimes I do get depressed, but I can usually work through that.... 8. Have you ever been harrased for your sexuality? If so, how did you respond? Not really... I was picked and spit on in seventh grade, but that's over now. I'm generally well liked by people at school, so I don't get harassed. 9. Are you sexually active? Were you before you acknowledged your sexuality? I've had sex, yes... but I'm not exactly sexually active, given the fact that I have no one to be sexually active with. 10. Do you plan on coming out in the NEAR future? Most people know about me, and those that don't don't need to know. Thanks! Not a problem smile

7.If you have not come out, do you ever feel angry/depressed for seemingly no particular reason at times? no, I don't really feel angry or depressed. I feel like I am being dishonest.
8. Have you ever been harrased for your sexuality? If so, how did you respond? yes, I told them in a really agitated voice,"If you don't like me, than don't associate with me. I can't help who I am and who I am not."
9. Are you sexually active? Were you before you acknowledged your sexuality? yes and yes
10. Do you plan on coming out in the NEAR future? hopefully I will be honest with everybody and found out where I stand than. I have no idea whether I will succeed or not in this.

4. Do you sometimes feel to be a lesser person for being a GLBT teen?: Not at all.
5. Do you feel that you are accepted by your community?: Those that I have told accept it, but I'm not sure that this makes a "community."
6.Has your sexual identity affected your religious views?: No.
7.If you have not come out, do you ever feel angry/depressed for seemingly no particular reason at times?: Occasionally, but this seems to be regular teenagerdome, and not necessarily related to sexuality.
8. Have you ever been harrased for your sexuality? If so, how did you respond?: No.
9. Are you sexually active? Were you before you acknowledged your sexuality?: No.
10. Do you plan on coming out in the NEAR future?: There may be a few people whom I might tell, but I don't plan on coming out to everyone any time soon.

5. Do you feel that you are accepted by your community?: I don't know and I honestly don't care. I'm accepted by the people that matter.
6.Has your sexual identity affected your religious views?: Nope. Wicca acctually supports homosexuality I believe.

8. Have you ever been harrased for your sexuality? If so, how did you respond? Yes. I brushed it off/ignored it.

9. Are you sexually active? Were you before you acknowledged your sexuality?: by sexually active, do you mean bf/gf? or having sex? I've had girlfriends, but I'm kinda scared to have a boyfriend in public

yes, depending on the situation- i either stand up for my rights or just take whatever comes in silence

yes...i acknowledged my sexuality about 3 years before being sexually active

ive already come out to a few close friends..i plan to come out to everyone in a few years

5. Do you feel that you are accepted by your community?: Some people have accepted where other don't.
6.Has your sexual identity affected your religious views?: I'm disliking my religion less and less

a mix composed mainly of Wicca and Shamanisim

I told my mom... even though I know my dad wouldn't think any differently of me if I told him, I don't really get along well enough with him to tell him much about muself.

Nope. I do have some slight insecurity about coming out to my friends, yet I'm proud of who I am!

Yea. Even if I came out, I live in a very urban and very liberal area, so although there would be a few people who would hate/mock/fear me, overall it's pretty accepted in my community.

It's more like my reigous views affected my sexual identiity! "Love one for thy soul and not for thy body"

I used to have extreme depression, including cutting and starving myself, up until I told my mom and brother that I was bi. From then on I was depression-free! ^-^

I've never been harassed for it since only a few people know that I'm bi.

Nope. I'm still a virgin and have never had a bf/gf.

Yes, I want to tell my friends. If they can't lobve me for who I am, then perhaps they aren't true friends. Plus, if I keep it to myself I can never tell my crush that I like her. sad
