A resturant of high stature off a little street in the heart of Central, MB caters to those of proper attire and status. Very eliquent and modern inside, it provides a calm atmosphere with built in sound suppression for private conversations in the open. Because of its location and atmosphere, the Masterpiece has been used frequently to data exchanges and infomation gathering by the higher ups in the world.

Calder walks in and waves for the waitress to take him to his favourite table by the bay window overlooking Spire. He enjoyed coming to the MB since they upgraded their waitresses to the Unimigoya company's Ursula III models, the way they smile and their small talk databases where exceptional. Distracted, he failed to notice that he made it to his table already.
"Thanks," he said to the Ursula."I'm waiting on a guest, but I will have a glass of your finest brandy while I wait." "Very well sir, I will return with your beverage and a menu briefly." The machine replied and abrumptly left.
"So much for that." Calder muttered half-heartedly. And he waited.

Leocadia enters and heads strait to Calder's table, she has no idea if hes there yet or not, but he'll be at that same depressing table every time. Her heart sinks when Calder comes into view slumped over that vile liquid like a grizzled fellow at a hole-in-the-wall bar.
"I see your looking lively today, Ranewater." She announces in a warm voice with just a hint of sarcasm as she takes her seat and waves for a waitress to come take her order.

"Your late." He remarks lifting his head just high enough to meet her eyes.
She really wasn't late by the time they had agreed on, but she was later that he was on getting there.

"Only by your time hun." She smirked. "Anyways, I'm sorry I wasn't here earlier but my meeting with Colossus ran a little long. That boy is amazing."
Colossus is a young technophile that quickly because a master of the clockwork arts and micro-machinery. Known for making almost purely mechanical body replacements, he is constantlly making tiny works of art, gadgets, and locks with keys. He has a horrible fondness to the inner workings of mechanical locks and can make them so intricate that its key most likely won't work if you drop it on the gound.

"He does have some very special abilities, you should see the clockwork spider he was comissioned to do for Grand Union Bank's Centennial."
"Anyways, how did your meeting go? Did the 'Wizard' perform?" Calder asked with urgency. His operation would be slowed down greatly if Wizard Jennings decided to back out of their deal. He needed those hard copy city Charters and blueprints of the Koto district.

She sighed, giving herself a couple more seconds to figure out what to say.
"It went about as good as I thought, He told me to get out, I told him to act reasonable, he said '******** off,' I mentioned the tapes we have, and finally he grudgingly gave me this:" She recalled.
Leocadia produced an oddity of sorts, it was a metal rod about 2 feet long and a little more than 4 inches across its widest point. It looked just like another tube, but its ends were rounded off and there were no sides or anything. The thing was a true eliptic object.
"The only problem is, I have no idea how to open the damn thing. That Jennings really likes to annoy you it seems."

Calder takes the object from her. "Yes, he does, he won't budge an inch until you threaten him, and then he reveals that its already done but you have to figure out how to get it. That's his usual way of doing things I guess."
He then holds the tube up in his palms about eye level and with his cybernetic fingers, slowly rotates it while grabbing it in every possible way at lightning speed with his cybernetic hands.
"Unfortunately for him, I own a couple of these puzzle boxes myself, the trick is to place all ten fingers in specific areas on the surface, then the box will open for a limited time and lock back up." And almost as soon as he finishes his explination, the box slides apart and releases it's contents. Calder quicklly puts the documents in his jacket and returns the case to Leocadia.
"Thanks a bunch 'Cade, I have to go now sadly, I have to good ask an old employee some advice. Your welcome to come along, but I think you might know who it its and I do know that you two don't get along at all. Feel free to stay here and put whatever you want on my tab, or join table seven, Ms. Danchou seems to be having fun with room for one there."

Again with the sigh
"Ok, but I'll get to see you at the usual place tonight right?" She asks and abrumptly returns his nod with a warm smile that doesn't reach her eyes.
She takes a glance at table seven and sees that Danchou is there, but with a couple of Brads, 'not quite my cup of tea.' She orders a piece of pie and sits at the table with a cup of cocoa. Afterall, shes done her work for today.

With the pie and cocoa firmly taken care of, Leocadia leaves the bistro with a smile and a nod to Ms. Danchou and heads back to the ash daughter hideout for some nice R&R before the nights events.
"I think I'll walk today, the scheduled weather looks pretty nice and I got the time . . ." She remarks to herself.

Only mere moments after Leocadia exits the bistro; eyes directed firmly to the ground; Cobald scurries in, neither noticing her, nor being noticed. It was a skill he developed following his critical fall from the great heights he was born into. It made it a bit easier to hide the fact that he just wasn't quite right anymore.
"Yes sir, may I help you?" 3nodding ~The Ursula III, cordial as ever~ confused Cobald thought, it was one of the things that would always make their artificiality plainly obvious. "Uh yeah.... I was looking for Mr. Calder" Making every effort to avoid eye contact "Yes, he arrived here just minutes ago. Please, this way" The Ursula leads Codald through the dining area, past the other patrons back to Calder's regular spot "Thanks" He says as the android leaves to handle other customers. "Um, hi sir. I've, uh, got some news for you. Its about that thing you wanted made......"

Isis wore a large, white cloak lined with black fur and a hood tha feel just above her eyes. They gleamed yellowish in the low light. She walked in the door, and a few heads turned. She stood tall, with her arms crossed across her chest and waited a second to be helped. She noticed Calder chatting with an unknown man across the room and smiled coylie. He looked unusualy comfortable. 'Best let him to his bussness and have him come to you' she thought to herself. She lit up a smoke as a robot aproched her. " Please, this is a non-smoking establishment." It said without emontion. "Please, shut the ******** up?" Isis replyed casualy and slid a card in a small slot in the back of the Machine. "Please take any seat you want" Is said, this time in a much friendlyer voice. "Thats what I though," she mummbled to herself. She tool a spot in the left side of the room toward the back, so she could get a good view of the door and also close to a secondary exit if the need came up.

"ah yes, how is it going? Any problems so far?" He asks in a hurry, noticing Isis playing with the waitress-bot.
"Sorry I'm not more cordial, but I had to hurry back here, I forgot that I had to meet up with someone earlier and it took longer than I thought."

"Yes, thats ok sir. Everything is going well with the new project. Though fitting a personal em pulse generator in a mere forelimb is going to limit how often it can be used......Maybe if I had the whole arm to work with, not just the forearm and hand?"

A lowery figure makes his shade through the restaurant.
*It is odly silent for the amount of people within its walls.* he thinks to himself
the figure pours his way into the kitchen.
Behind closed doors unbeknownst to the guests, drops an amber fluid into the brew, as it disperses into the ale, the bronze glittery fluid seems to ebb and flow on its own accord. as swift as he came, he left, and out the door. So odd one might think, but in a city like this, pherhaps not.
