High above the surface of the ring world HALO, a few ships from both the Cvenant and the Human race are going head to head in a massive battle. Who will win? No one knows. But in a battle of machine and minds, there can only be one winner.

Please note: This is a third person role play. For all those involved, make extreme use of directions in this battle. We are no longer dealing in two dimensions, but rather three. Left-right, forwards-backwards, up and down. Also make extreme use of where your ship is going. Otherwise, the others won't know where you are heading so they might end up running into you.
Keep these in mind, and we will have a decent role play.

With a rumble, the covenant carrier thrusts forwards, engines burning bright like supernovas in the sky. Each of the plasma turrets along the side of the carrier burned red as the collected the already hot plasma.

The Armengald's enginges mad a feint noise in the vaccum of space. It slowly started forward, like a fish in shark infested waters, it moved slowly towards its allies. Small ships appeard out of its port and starboard hangar bays.

The Capital ship moved starboard closer towards the Armengald. From the black of space, the lateral lines glowed hellish red with plasma, and fired apon the Armengald's starboard's side.

The carrier's engines went from a slightly dull glow, to a bright nuclear blue shine as they power up, the front shields glowing solid silver as they do the same. Without warning, the Assault Carrier charges forwards, its turrets warming.
The carrier was below the Captial ship, but along the same lines in orientation. Nose was to the nose, and so on. With increasing momentum, the carrier charged forwards, heading along a single ship length beneath the covenant ship.
Suddenly, the pilot of the carrier fired the bow thrusters, shoving the nose upwards into the belly of the capital ship, ramming right where the most sensitive equipment was located. The shields flared for a moment, absorbing some of the impact, but then they broke allowing for metal to slam upon metal.

The Capital ship shook as its belly impacted with the sheild of the Carrier. Helpless, it started to tilt to the side, and do the only thing it could do, fire apoon the attacking ship.

The carrier fired its bow starboard thrusters, and turned, allowing the plasma to wash over it's shields and then its armor plating as it turned, bearing its own weapons. With a flash of red, in less then half a ship length, the carrier fired upon the capital ship, plasma lancing forwards and splashing in its own right against the hull, then into its lower decks.
Secondary explosions lined the impact area as the air pockets detinated from overheating.

From slipspace, a new Covenant Crusier appered to the aft side of the Capital ship, within firing range of the Armengald.
It sped up to round the back side of the Capital ship and opened fire onto the Carriers port side.

With it's bow thrusters continuoously fireing, the carrier turns headlong into the fire, its port side getting damaged. Metal globs flung outwards, then flash froze in the dead of space. With it's sharklike appearance gaining speed again, this time heading for the new foe.
Its port side ventral (bottom) thrusters fired, as did the starboard side dorsal thrusters, rotating the ship and presenting it's side torpedoes weapons, already hot.

Joining the battle, the Avenger approached the new Cruiser from its starboard side, and fired its MAC cannon it. The blast impacted the Cruiser's shields, and the shields absorbed the hit.

Already crippled, the Armengald's engines sputtered but went out. It drifted along in space, its inner decks exposed to the vacuum of space.

Two tiny dots of light in space flickered as two Pelicans launched from one of the Titan's docking bays, darting towards the wounded Armengald. The impressively large ship lightly tapped its thrusters in order to target their main problem, the Covenant Capital Ship. The ship remained still for a moment, the only movement near the ship being from its launch bay as several Longsword fighters poured out of it in order to take up defensive positions nearby. Soon, a large roar rose from beneath the carrier, and the magnetic accelerator cannon below spat two rounds of large, hot metal, which blazed through the area between the two ships. They both, thanks to the calculations of the bridge crew, slammed directly into the Covenant ship's nose, easily crippling it along with the forward portion of the ship due to their downed shields.

The slightly wounded Covenant Carrier that was controled by humans slowly spun about so that she could face her new foe, the covie cruiser.

The Capital ship's nose section became a fireball in the black of space. When the inferno died, the ship started to move forward, trying to get away from the carrier. Then, its lateral lines lined red with plasma and tried to evade the Titan by moving Starboard
