Alrighty, to start things off I'm going to post a little something I thought of when watching the preview for next week's episode, "School Reunion."
In the preview we see Anthony Stewart Head of Buffy fame underneath a sign that says "Headmaster" as that is the role he is playing in this episode. For those who are familar with older DW, however, you would know of the character the Master who was a frequent adversary of the Doctor. Therefore, rumours have naturally been flying that perhaps Tony will be the new reincarnation of the Master. Russell T. Davies himself has said that he thinks the Master may return, yet he did add that it would take a writer who could do it properly. Regardless, 'tis an interesting thought. What actually amused me the most about the whole thing is that if this character is indeed the Master, then breaking apart the word we get Head Master, thus connecting to the actor's last name... whee I don't know, that just amused me greatly when I realized that. <3

Wow, you put rules up and everything. Niiiiice...
Anyway, my speculations below have SPOILERS up to and including the story Tooth and Claw.
I'm thinking this isn't the last the Doctor will see of werewolves. Maybe I'm just reading too much into it, but Queen Victoria's actions after being scratched/bitten seem really odd. Not only does she banish the Doctor, but she sets up the Torchwood Institute, and closes out the episode with the ominous statement: "And if this Doctor should return, then he should beware, because Torchwood will be waiting!"
What is up with that? I just don't understand why the Queen would see the Doctor as a threat, when he went out of his way to save her from the wolf. But what if, as the Doctor suggests to Rose, the Queen has been infected? Or worse, what if the Wolf essence somehow managed to jump into the Queen, and is now using her as its new host? Perhaps Torchwood is really the Monarchy's tool to take care of the Doctor... a potential threat to a future Empire of the Wolf.
The other thing is that it seems like we may not have seen the last of the "Bad Wolf" references. It's never really been explained why Rose decided, out of all the possible messages she could have sent herself, the words "Bad Wolf". What if this is still a hint of things to come... Rose, getting bitten in a future episode, literally becomes the big Bad Wolf!
Eh, what's that you say? Don't buy it? I'm sure Clive would agree with me...

And that Headmaster definitely looks menacing enough. Is the name a clue, or just a coincidence? And how does he relate to that flying gargoyle creature? I guess we'll find out in another week!

Oh Clive...I love Clive and his crazy theories. heart
I'm totally with you on all this though. I think it's very possible that the Queen was infected and the whole development of Torchwood as an enemy to the Doctor is rather interesting (although I still hate the speech XD).
And I definitely think we haven't heard the last of the whole "Bad Wolf" bit. There's GOT to more to that. There's just got to be. It's true, why would Rose use the words "Bad Wolf" as a message to herself? There must be some reason behind it...and I'm just dying to find out. whee
Oh and thanks, I'm glad you like my thread set up! heart

This is speculation about season 2 episode 4, based on clips contained in the 3 minute "Red Button Press Trailer". Don't highlight the text below unless you don't mind being spoiled! This is the story that contains the 'clockwork robots' shown in various previews... could these be Autons?
From the trailer, it looks like the character played by Tennant's girlfriend Sophie Myles is from 18th century France, and is being stalked by "a spaceship from the 51st century". Who comes from the 51st century? Jack Harkness! Mere coincidence, or could this story have something to do with everyone's favorite bisexual flyboy? Friends (or foes) of the good Captain, perhaps? All part of RTD's plan to plug the Torchwood spinoff at every available opportunity!!!Kelyn And I definitely think we haven't heard the last of the whole "Bad Wolf" bit. There's GOT to more to that. There's just got to be. It's true, why would Rose use the words "Bad Wolf" as a message to herself? There must be some reason behind it...and I'm just dying to find out. whee How about this: if Billie Piper decides to leave the show, Rose will be written out of the show as a companion, but come back as every so often as a werewolf villian! Ha ha, take that, Doctor/Rose shippers!!! razz

Rose gets pregant and leaves, has a son, and the doctor and Rose's son takes over as the Doctor when we get to regeneration 13
Yes I know it won't happen just had to tease hairy and the rest of the non-shippers a bit mrgreen

Because Headmaster Finch certainly wasn't just another Krillitane. He seemed to be immune to the effects of the oil, and was never shown on-screen in bat-form (though it was implied that he had one when the girl got eaten in the beginning). Very suspicious...

Aiden_Wolfspirit It might not have been even him who ate the girl at the start because later they showed other bats sleeping in his office. I hadn't thought of that. Good point! From the audio commentary it seems like originally Finch was going to also turn into a bat-creature, but the production team changed their minds at some point. So really, only thing that suggests he's similar to other Krillitane is that he gets disoriented when the fire alarm rings.
I hope they do decide to make 'Finch' be the Master. Anthony Head was just so cool in School Reunion.

I have a theory about the moon. It's been the main focus of two episodes now, and it seems to me as if it's been in the moonlight (bad pun I know) since the Christmas Invasion. Maybe it could be connected with the Doctor? Or maybe the Torchwood home base. They kept saying the origins of the moon are mysterious in New Earth. It's either a co-incidence or a second 'Bad Wolf' (the 1st being Torchwood)
WAIT!! Didn't we see the wolf 'regenerate' in moonlight in Tooth and Claw! The Moon could be Gallifrey in some sort of white dwarf form!

Was there a moon view in Christmas Invasion? I don't remember. Nor did I remember the bit in New Earth about the origins of the moon (darn, now I'm going to have to rewatch it!). I remember several shots of the moon in Tooth & Claw, and one seemingly pointless close-up in School Reunion when the Krillitane was flying in the air. (now we know the answer to Rose's question of why it swooped down on them, then flew up in the air without even really attacking anyone... to give us that gratuitious moon close-up!).
I figured it'd just be Torchwood as this season's "Bad Wolf", but now that you've mentioned it, I do think they must be planning something with this moon thing. Though the moon being the New Gallifrey seems something of a stretch. Torchwood HQ, on the other hand...
Hmm...
