Introduction Being a teenager is hard enough. But being a teenager, AND a mutant? That's what most of the students of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters have to deal with everyday. For some, however, it's better than what they had before they got here. In a world where mutants are treated with suspicion at best, and open hostility at worst, they have to stick together. One of the things that Xavier's teaches, however, is that if mutants are ever to overcome the prevailing stereotypes, they must learn to treat all of humanity equally, both mutant and non-mutant alike. However, not all young mutants share this view. They usually end up joining the Brotherhood, a group of mutants who believe that they are above humans, and should not have to bow down before anyone. Some people label them as evil. Some label them as misunderstood. Some don't really care. So, what's it going to be? Will you join Xavier's, and try to make the world a better place? Or will you hook up with the Brotherhood, and do whatever the hell you want? In the end, whose side are you on?

Welcome male, female, and gender-neutral mutants of all ages! Welcome to X-Men Evolution: ReWind! Most of you have been here long enough that I don't really need to go into details about the rules. And anyways, we have a seperate forum for that. Instead, I'm going to give you an idea of what this RP is about.
I named it ReWind, because we're going back to the very beginning of the series. Most of our characters will be back in high school, and going through those things that teenagers go through.
Of course, along the way we'll be battling the odd villain, but that's not the sole focus of this. Oh no, the focus is more on character development and interaction that just fighting the villain-of-the-week.
REALLY FREAKING IMPORTANT!!

{And now, without further ado, I declare this thread officially open! I'll start it off with a little post from Morgan.}
It was quite a lovely day in Bayville. The sun was shining, the birds with chirping merrily, and most of the students at Bayville high were staring out the windows, waiting for a bell that never seemed to ring.
Morgan was one of those students. So.... bored... he thought to himself as he looked outside. Finally, the bell rang, signalling the beginning of the lunch period. He ran to his locker, crammed his books inside, and slammed the door shut. He dashed outside and sat down at a table with a few other Xavier students, sending high fives and greetings all around. He was just about to dig into his sandwich when he heard an all-too-familiar voice from behind him. "Hey whitey! You still owe me a drink for the other day!" Duncan said, flanked by two of his lackeys. Duncan was one of the school's star football players, which gave him the idea that he owned the school.
"We've already gone over this. You threw the can at me. If I deflected it instead of letting it hit me in the forehead, that doesn't mean I owe you drink," Morgan replied, not even bothering to turn around. Duncan might have been big, but Morgan wasn't really worried.
"Hey! Turn around when he's talking to you, whitey!" Duncan's lackey said, placing a large hand on Morgan's shoulder. This was a mistake on the lackey's part. There was a brief flash of Morgan's hand, and a yelp of pain from his aggressor as his wrist was twisted in an odd direction. "Lucas, let me make a couple of things perfectly clear to you," Morgan said, not even turning around. "One: If you ever grab me like that again, I will knock you on your a**. And second: For the last goddamned time, stop calling me whitey!" he finished, releasing the hand.
And with that, Morgan went back to his lunch. "Whitey, you just made the biggest mistake of your life. Meet me after class in front of the school, so I can give you a lesson in respect," Duncan said, putting emphasis on "whitey".
"Duncan, you just made a bigger mistake by challenging me. I'll see you there," Morgan replied, still eating his sandwich.
"Hey, are you sure zat's a good idea? I mean, ve're not really supposed to use our powers outside of school," Kurt said, leaning closer to Morgan. "Relax, Kurt. Who said I was going to use my powers? Remember, I know kung-fu," Morgan replied, saying the last line in a fake kung-fu movie accent.

brandon was lieing on a wall when the bell rang he bolted to his locker pulled out his lunch stuffed his books in his locker and ran off to lunch. brandon watched the mini fight. "looks like fun smile " brandon thought smirking
dairus was kicking rocks around occatinaly hitting a near by dog when the bell rang. he had all ready put his books up and made his way to the lunch room. he got his tray and sat at the end of an emty table. no one sat with him and it never realy bother him, he was use to it. after school he would find a place to sleep and do his homework. cool

Kidd took her lunch tay to the checkout and gave the larg lkunch lady her money. she, like most f the kidds, where new to the school. she didn't have any one to sit with. she looked around and saw a guy sitting alone at the table. she smiled and curled her hair around her ear. a small flake of ice from her hair falling one her sholder she brushed it off and sat arcross from the lonely boy. "hey there,"

Bobby (real name rebecca) walked down the halls pulling her coat tightly around her. always worryed that some one would see her larh white wings under her long coat. she knew this was a mutant school. but she was still uncomfortable with everyone seeing her wings. her face blushed evertime she passed someone and they looked her up and down. she took a corner to quick and walked right into another student. "sorry!"

becky was tring to find a way to stuff her books in her locker when the bell rang for lunch she was one of the first people inline she got her tray and took a seat. the seat around her filled quickly but no one realy payed no mind to her. she did not care most of the peole she had not meet or was kinda mean to her. she enjoyed her meal.

Kidd sat at the table with dairus. she dug into her food trying to to look at the colorless blob. "so, sup with you today... um... guy?" kidd smiled as she tryed to make conversation with the stowic boy. she smirked at his poking of the potatoes and looked down her spoon was gathering frost. she quicky put it down, hoping he wouldn't notice

Raze, on the other hand, had only now filed into the outdoor eating area with the other students. He flipped his shades up off his face as he chose a seat, by himself but still relatively close to the other Xavier students. He adjusted his gloves out of habit before digging in to his meal. He spotted Rogue near the doors, and motioned for her to sit with him.
"So, how're things?" he said, swallowing his mouthful of burger before speaking. Raze considered Rogue one of his best friends, and it showed. The two were almost inseperable, and they did have something in common. Both of them were afraid to actually touch people. Rogue, because of her energy-leeching powers, and Raze because his powers tended to (literally) flare up without warning. Either way, the outcome would be unpleasant.
"Oh, not bad. Ms. Harris is possibly one of the most boring teachers in the world," she replied, commenting on her previous class. "So, how're things with you?"
"Eh, can't complain," he said. "Hey, we've got a Danger Room session tonight. You ready?" he asked, lowering his voice.
"Yeah, I'll be fine. You?"
"No problems here. I just hope I can flare up when I need to this time. Those flying ball things hurt like hell," he said.

Kidd mirked and shook dairus's hand. "nice to meat you dairus, i'm Kidd." she took back her hand and took a sip of her sorw milk. making a fasce to match her discussed. "yuk, so how goes your day?"

" hum, you know i hear that they use the pecile shaving from class rooms to bake the buns. and the meats are expired lab animals." took a bite," but that just a rumor." she smiled and giggled. she eat some more of the food and made a funny face, "maybe its more then a rumor. you want go out for lunch?" she pushed her tray away

Kidd smiled, "great." she hopped up and fumped her tray into the grabag. "lets moder, lunch hour is coming to an end really fast." Kidd said smilling again. she walked with Dirus out the doors passing some kids on the was out. Some scowled at her, but she didn't mind she was used to those kind of looks. With her lack of pigment even some other mutants were nervous around her. she'd thought that she, as well as other noticable mutants, showed other mutants what one day could happen to them. that they'd no longer fit in with there familys and friends. but she never really let it both her. she tucked her hair behind here ears and stuffed her hands into her pokects as she walked ito the sunshine of mid day
