Talia kicked her feet, idly watching them sway back and forth. Listning to the tappings and scratching of her father's pencil agaisnt paper. It seemed to be the only noise in the room... Click. Vrrrrrrrm Talia perked, looking to teh vent as the airconditioning kicked on. For the brefest of moments her boredum was listed as something changed... However, that soon faded... Airconditioning could only be entertaining for a milisecond or so.
She frowned, slipping off the chair that was nearly as tall as her. Tentacles grabbing hold of the sides on the chair to slow her decent. Once safely on the ground she toddled over to Alan, peering up at him with a cute look. ...Nothing. She frowned, color wavering as she reached up to tug on his arm. ...Nothing. Giving a tiny sigh of defeat, she left him, going to the door. Wrapping tentacles around the object that should have been out of her reach. Click. Sweet freedom greeted her as she slipped out the door, shutting it behind her. She looked down the long, empy hall, smiling a bit. This was much more entertianing than the aircondition.

Laial peeked around a corner, checking for any signs of an adult. Seening none, he scampered across the hallway to the next corner. Rinse and repeat. He had just snuck out again, and needed to be sure no adult would bust him this time. This time, he was going to map D-Corp so he knew good hiding places for him and his dragon when she/he hatched. They could play spy and such and have all sorts of fun.
This routine continued for a while, until he spotted someone in the halls. Quickly shoving himself against a perpendicular wall to avoid being seen right away. Wait a minute....wasn't that someone a little small for an adult? He peeked around the corner again to see a little girl, not an adult at all. Interesting. He didn't think kids were allowed to wander D-Corp.
...Not that he was or anything. Still, his curiousity was peaked, so he walked forward a little and asked, "What's your name and what are you doing here?" He still couldn't see her clearly, but kept his distance in case she would think of reporting him.

Talia jumped a bit as a taller boy seemed to pop out of the woodwork. Large eyes inspected him as her color faded into a pale brown, nearly turning herself white in suprise. She tilted her head at his question, quickly grabbing hold of the front of her mini-lab coat and pulling the nametag foreward with a smile. Hoping that would answere both questions the boy had asked.
With that done she dropped her hold on the coat and took a step foreward. Her color brigtning as she looked over the boy's tentacles... With a smile, she held up her own. As if to say 'Hey you have them too!'
She wasn't very talkitive.

Laial's own eyes widened as the girl changed color. That earned a closer look. He crept closer, close enough to see her white labcoat with the name 'Talia' on it. Ah. So she worked here? How could a kid work here?
All these thoughts were erased when he saw tentecles. Tentecles! Like him! He also raised his own as a kind of response, a smile on his own face as well.

Talia's smile widened, a tinge of pink-happyness adding to her coloring. It seemed to stop there, a brownish color with a few tinges of pink here and there. She paused, peering at his shirt... Blinking, she tilted her head to the side. Why wasn't his name there? Wierd... She pointed at him, then to her own nametag then back to him. Repeating this until she thought he got the question. What was his name, and why wasn't it on his shirt...
Even though he didn't wear his name in the right place, she was still happy to see another child and a prospect of fun.

Talia perked at his name, nodding firmly as if to say she'd remember it. She listened carefully, the outside? Hm. That made sense. Everyone she saw had on coats.. unless they were visiting from outside. Like the man who brought in the soda. Soda was good...Yep.
Talia blinked at exploring, she'd heard about that... Her father had done it at some point, he rarely talked about it, but she'd get the occassional story. Yes, exploring was allways good... You allways found important things and learned, she smiled deciding this exploring idea would be good. So once again she nodded firmly, turning to move back down the hall. There was one place she was allways curious about, a place her daddy said she could never go.
As she turned the corner she found her desired curiosity, and looked back to see if her new friend had come, then looked foreward to the door. There were two of them, side by side. Invisible locks seemed to be encoded into the little pictures at the top of them, along with the words "Men's room" and the other "Women's room." She pointed to the door of wonder, in which others could go but she couldn't, still unsure of why that was.

Laial grinned and clapped his hands, overjoyed that someone would go exploring with him. Even if she was a little kid, she was willing to explore with him! Having no problem that she was leading, he happily followed her down the halls.
Until she came to those two doors. The restroom doors. Why would she want to explore here? They weren't anything special...Laial had failed to grasp that behind the doors was different.
"Why do you wanna go there? It's nothing special...is it?" They said different things but that didn't mean that it was different...right? "I think it's just the same as the other one..."

Talia blinked, shaking her head... Ofcourse they had to be different! She quickly pointed to herself, then to the girls door... then she pointed to him, and pointed to the boys door. Nodding her head yes as she did so. Then she pointed to herself again, then to the boys door and shook her head no. Pointed to him, the girls door, and shook her head no again.
With that explained she settled back to wait for the older boys responce.. maybe there wasn't a difference.... But then why couldn't she go in there?

Laial cocked his head as she 'explained' to him. So she could go in the one with the stick-figure was wearing a skirt, but couldn't go into the one where the stick-figure didn't have any clothes on. While he couldn't go into the one with the skirt, but could go into the door with the naked person. Why not?
"...So which one do you want to go in?" It was all the same to Laial. There couldn't be a difference, right? But wait... what if the door with the skirt; everyone inside wore skirts and the other room... Laial's eye twitched. Hopefully she wouldn't pick that one, but if she did he would go along. Because he was in a good mood. And she had tentecles.

Talia pointed to the one with the no clothes, or perhaps a suit the same color as his skin. WHo really knew the ways of the door's dressings...
Once she pointed she moved foreward, placing both hands and all her tentacles on the surface and pushing... For one her size and lighter weight than a normal kid, a door like this was much harder to open.
But eventually it creaked foreward... And she was in. RUshing into the "forbidden lands" she glanced around the somewhat kempt bathroom. If it had been public then the difference would have been more astounding. But a men's bathroom in such a place hadn't been defiled by soapy paper towels and torlett paper. However, one thing caught her attention. The sight of strange little.. somethgins on the wall which immediatly drew the toddler over. She peered into the round thing... findin a drain and some pink object. Well. Brains wer ein showers, and so were pink thigns of soap. "Bath!" she exclaimed, the first word she'd bothered to say the entire time, as she reached in for the "soap."

Laial gulped slightly at her choice. But, it was her choice... He struggled to help her push open the door. Apparently, he was a bit of a weakling. One eye shut and blurring the other, he peeked into the room...
...to find it empty. Good! He brought his vision back to normal and turned to a wall. Three normal-looking sinks with little boxes on the wall next to them. Creaping forward, only to jump back when Laial saw himself on the same wall. Oh. It's a mirror, stupid. This must be a bathrom or a kitchen. Considering he didn't hear the hum of a fridge, it must be a bathroom. But what was in the small boxes?
His eyes zipped to the door at the sound of a voice. But...no one was there. Who- Taila. Duh. He turned to her to find her fasinated by the 'bath'. "Uh...I don't think that's a bath tub...they're normally on the floor instead of on the wall..." He crept closer to her, to see the wall-bath better.

Talia blinked, not a bath? Then what were the little soaps for? She held the one she had found up, a slightly dissolved tablet just bigger than her hand with a big U in the middle, for Urinal cake, but she wouldn't have known that.
She pondered a moment, hm.. maybe it was a shower, those were upright! Before she knew it she had accidentally wrapped a tentacle around the flushing-lever, and there was water falling down the side of the urinal and down the drain. Oh-ho! It WAS a shower.

"Yeah, I don't..." Laial's eyes drifted to the cake she was holding. "U? It has a U on it..." Obviously, Laial also lacked such knowledge. He wasn't an idiot, he was uncultured. “What would that mean?”
He jerked back at the noise, even if it was quiet. Looking up at the urinal to see the water coming down. Strange…maybe it was a shower… But it was pretty small for an adult or someone to fit in. A child shower? That was more likely, if the U bar was soap. “Does the U bar seem like soap?”

Talia blinked, rubbing her hand across it only to flinch. She shook her head no, it was hard and .. well. painful. She frowned at her hand that had a few scratches on it... Oh alan was going to have a cow when he found out about this. Not that she knew that...
Speaking of Alan.
The door creaked open, said boss allready fiddling with his belt. He choked at the sight of his daughter and.. well someone else, but honestly he only cared about the little girl holding a urinal cake. "Put that down!" his normally monotone voice rose the tiniest bits with an angry concern... Oh goodness, her skinw as sensitive, and that thing had to be crawling with bacteria and.. what if they had to amputate her arm now? Arg.
Talai squeaked, dropping the cake and bowing her head in a guilty way.
Alan ushered over, quickly scouping the girl up and over to the sinks. He flipped on the water, filled his palm with soap, and promptly started rubbing her hands clean.
Talia whined a bit as the soap went over the tiny scrape, sniffling some. Oh man she was in trouble!
