Now see, I really need to get rid of Net Safety off one of my main comps. It was placed there four years ago by my parents. No use for it now, though; I'm bonefied Christian now. I tried taking it off, but it still seems to function. Ugh, It's starting to block threads with more than two cuss words in it. It's absurd! I have to get rid of it. I would love to just bypass it... but no one seems to remember the password. Darn... This is my favorite computer too.

call their help/support line?
parental controls suck.
but my mom just gave up on it
cause we'd always find out the password anyways.

..and what does being a christian have to do with Net Safety?

You could turn Gaia's Word Filtering option on. At least it'd stop blocking sailormouth-ridden threads.

Yeah. I have never had to experience any kind of blocking system other than the schools. So I don't know what to say.

@ Poison- (parents had porno worries. When I became bonefied, I felt absolutely disgusted at the creators of the crap.)

@ 1un4r- Tried, still likes to block. Edit: That's screwy, it doesn't work on strong but does on mild? Huh. Well, nonetheless, it worked.

@ Bluefox- Did a full system check. There are what I call "ghost bits", or peices of a program that refuses to be deleted.

@ Pepsi- The school comps are better than this... why I use them more.

The school computers here don't even let people on Gaia anymore.

Ouch. What's the reasons?

The site was visited too much. We have a program that counts how many times Gaia is used. Then the site is shown to the computer guy Deater who decides if the site is useful to students or not.

It used to be that if the site was used too much it would block it without someone screening it. Google was blocked thanks to that.

Ugh.. yeah, I hate that. That's why knowing the override code was always so handy when I went to Summit. xd

It wasn't so much of a code as it was just finding the IP address of Gaia and replacing the "www.gaiaonline.com" part with it.
