I was reading the servitor information thread and the thread that posted a servitor for everyone to try. I have honestly never heard of a servitor before now. So im just going to post a few questions that may pretty much seem like a summery of everything you said sweatdrop (Im just one of those people that need a summery of something in order to get it.)

So basically, servitors are created by making a sigil of your intent, but instead of firing off the sigil the normal way, you would create an energized thoughtform around it to do the job?

Also, it said you would need to "take care" of long term sigils and find them a "place to stay". What exactly is meant by this and how is it done?

And how long usually should you let the things stay around for? Does it depend on the task? I mean, give it a week or two instead of an hour or two? Thanks for answering if you can!

I see that you have posted this question also at M&R, so I'll answer sweatdrop although my knowledge is not that much, at least I can try and guess ...

From my experience, servitors are an energized thoughtform that you create to fulfill a task. Period. If you use a sigil to ... let's say "contain" it... well it could be. Don't know much about sigils.

Well... if you create anything to fulfill a task... well you should take care that it exists and it's fully functional until the task is finished... Well that's if you make something physicall. Like a sigil. (I work with my mind mostly). So if you want the thing to last until the task is finished, well, yes, you may want to put it somewhere safe.
