Ein stopped in front of the water fountain, pausing as she tried to crane to reach the sprout. Frowning, she moved to the smaller one. One of these days she would be tall enough to reach the adult version instead of the kiddie one.
One of these days.
The weather was hot enough that all Ein needed was a simple shift-- running around the park, she paused, waving once to Silver's peroccupied form. Ever since the college student had discovered a new myster author, it had been hard to get her out of the house at all.
"Stay close, okay?" Silver called out.
Ein grinned, nodding her head. She could do that! Rapidly walking/stumbling down the pathway, she jumped onto one of the miniature slopes, falling back onto the cool grass to stare up into the sky.
Ein always preferred a hot day outside.

"I'm going to put you on a leash" Nyx growled as she watched Jera race away from her. As the former criminal grew, her body grew stronger as well including her legs which meant Nyx spent more time chasing her daughter down than most parents of toddlers did.
This was wrong Jera snarled inside her head all wrong. Racing across the park she ran as though she were trying to outrun the wind.Wrong wrong wrong and it was all thier fault, she wasn't supposed to be here like this like them, she was supposed to be dead and there was supposed to be chaos and anarachy on her home world.
Jera galloped about terrified, what if they came, the visisons, what if she truly became them and then. ..
Jera was brought of her thoughts when her hooves struck flesh and she was flung forewards.

Ein shrieked at the feeling of something landing on her stomach and falling over her. Startled, hurt, and slightly scared as to what this was she sat up automatically, still screaming in reflex as she...
Oh.
It hurt like the biggest pain in the world, worse than when she had clipped her snakes against the door of the taxi. So she yowled, crying the way toddlers do as if the entire world was about to end.
Except...
Half drying her tears, sniffling and sulking at the same time, she continued to stare at the thing lying across her lap. What was it? Ein was sure she had seen something like this in her fairy books. But she couldn't remember the name.
"You a unicorn?" she asked, sniffling.
"Ein, you okay?" having dumped the book on the bench as well as her shoes, Silver ran across the small distance, scowling as she knelt by her daughter. Running her fingers over to make sure skin wasn't broken, she gave exactly the same reaction.
Huh. What was this?

As soon as she was able to gain control fo herself Jera carefully stood and took a few steps back. Grey eyes stormy Jera eyed the creature that has cuased her fall, it was small hurt. With a sigh jera kick at the grass, she enjoyed the sight of others in pain and confusion but this was bad, this one had not deserved to be so sad so young. Still unable to force her vocal chord to make the sounds she wanted Jera should her head she was not a unicorn.
Rushing over to the other three Nyx smiled apoligetically at silver and Ein " I am so sorry , Jera dosen't always watch where she's going and um is your little girl ok?" Nyz worried for Jera too but figured that if she could walk then there couldn't have been too much damage done.

Silver relaxed. "Ein is fine." she said, nodding her head. "She's just a little bit..." tempermentable? A bit of a drama queen? "sensitive." she smiled. "Ein, sweetie, can you get up?"
The pain already half forgotten, Ein looked up instead at Jera, her eyes blinking with curiosity. The snakes in her hair hissed, and as if strengthened by this response she got up.
"Horsie?" she asked, staring admiringly at the four feet.
Silver shook her head. "Ein should know better than to just lie in the middle of nowhere." she said, apologizing. "I'm sorry, my name is Silver. And this, is Ein."

The sight and sound of the snakes filled Jera with inexplicable agitation and she pawed at the ground again. Jera hated this, the way her body reacted differently, how temperatures had different effects and how horribly annoying not having scales was. Most of all it was the reactions though. Her body feared the snakes but her mind oh how her mind longed for contact with another. Struggling as best she could Jera let out a series of hisses wincing at her prounonciation and hoping that the creatures understood universal serpent.
Nyx just smiled " I'm Nyx, Jera's ahh I guess parole officer slash parent thing."

Now, what was the horsie doing? Tilting her head as she watched her unicorn friend, (she must be mistaken to think that she wasn't a unicorn) Ein hissed back-- and giggled.
Hey, that was fun!
Nodding her head, she walked closer, and leaning forewords, patted Jera's... well.
Rump.
Eeee! She was so soft!
"Pretty." she admired. She liked pretty.

Jera fought back tears as she heard no words in the return hisses, there went another plan. When the other girl started pettign her she resisted the urge to kick her. She was not a pet not some animal to be cuddled or ridden like the other girl had, but an intelligent sentient being who ought to be treated as such.
Of course if she got agressiveand started fighting Nyx was goign to watch her closer than she'd like. If she could remain calm, she could formulate more plans as she grew and work on escaping and returning home and getting the tabula rasa to tell her how to reverse this. of course she wouldn't leave gaia unmarked by her presence but it was already in an uneasy state. It would take a great deal of time effort and help to affect it in the ways she would want to.
Turnign her torso she smiled at Ein and let out few more hisses purely for the fun of it."
Nyz sighed " Oh goodie so she's still serpentine, how am I supposed to understand her when she speaks snake?"

Silver giggled. "Parole officer, huh?" she said, grinning. "You could say I'm one for Ein as well." Deciding that there were no rules against telling people the truth, she leaned in closer, as if it was a big secret. "Tell you the truth, Ein was a criminal in her last life. She was sent over here to be conformed, or something."
Silver could never remeber it properly.
Ein stopped petting at the hissing noises. Delighted to see someone who sounded just like her hair accesories, she scrabbled forewords to face the unicorn.
"Ein." she said, nodding, pointing to herself. She pointed at Jera, tilting her head. What was your name uni? With glee, she stared at the marking on the toddler's forehead.
Hey, she didn't have that. But she had scales!
And to prove the point, she turned around and pulled up her dress.
"EIN!!"

Jera busrt into laughter as she watched Ein, she was amused to see the scales if saddened though thier colours was nowhere near as rich as hers had been.Unable to sepak she couldn't awnser Ein's question but if the girl asked Nyx she'd get her awnser.
Nyx too was unable to avoid laughing and she grinned at Silver " I think maybe your Ein was a child when she was sentenced or that she lost her memories since I can't see any adult doign that."

Ein looked up at Silver, frowning at the sudden exclamation. Now what was so wrong with what she'd done? She'd just shown someone her scales... tugging her dress back down, she continued to wait for an answer.
Maybe the unicorn had no name? Shrugging, she tugged at Jera's hand. It would be better if they went somewhere else, away from the adults. Silver was always making fun of her, and saying things that wasn't true.
Silver nodded. "A child." she answered, and then smirked. "Although, you know. It makes me wonder about the society she comes from. Maybe everyone walked around naked?" Still, there was a note of doubt.
"An IRCS as well?" she asked. Wait. Was that it? ISC.. IC... mm. It didn't matter. Maybe Nyx would understand what she meant.

With an internal sigh Jera allowed herself to be dragged off by the other girl. Staying closer to adults was helping her recognise this language better, but then again most children didn't hang aroung adults becuase they found them boring.
" ICRS interplanetary criminal relocation service and yes that's where Jera is from. A planet full of naked people, hmm not all that impossible especially if those scales she has a remenants of her former body in which case clothes would not be important." Nyx never liked to rule any possibility out, haviing lived on gaia as long as she had she figured that absolutely anything was possible.

Ein was grinning as she looked towards Jera. What would they do first? Looking around, she decided that a race was out of the question. No way she was going to do something that would let her lose so easily!
Peeking around, she sat back onto the grass, original hurt forgotten. "Play?" she asked, a question. But play with what?
Silver nodded, relieved. She had almost had the name down pat! "Jera too, huh?" Nodding her head, she motioned to a couple of benches eye distance from the two children. 'Would you like to sit down?" she asked.
Silver didn't want to sit on the grass. The stains that it would leave on her white skirt! Ick.

Play? Jera could play she was sure of it but what, what was something they could both do? Looking around the park she spotted a sandbox, they weren't the cleanest of places but they did allow children to play and be creative without words. She pointed in the directions of the soudnbox and gave a soft hiss.
Nyx nodded " Sure I feet could use a rest, I spend way toomuch time chasing after Jera." Though Nyx was in good shape she doubted anyone who had two legs could keep up with a four legged terror like Jera.

Sand! Brightening, Ein ran forewords, hands extended in order to keep herself balanced. Turning back, she nodded. Yes, they could play in the sand. and they coupld build castles and villages, and... and...
Ein giggled, pleased with herself. Yes. They could get to work on all of these things!
Meanwhile, Silver nodded her head, moving towards the benches. "I can imagine. Ein's easier, much easier because she's so small? And she gets tired quickly. So Ananchel and I have no problem chasing after her. But having one so big? And with four legs" she grinned. "Is your house bring then? Or does she just not run around the house? Ein does. And she's always knocking things over. Although, it's not as bad as her snakes. They bite."
