As we all know, Jason was replaced in MMPR with Rocky, the new red ranger. However, I just don't know why, but I hate the guy. Who do you guys like better? neutral

oh come on! what kind of choice is that? it's like asking if you like nap time or chocolate! they're both great, but by no means comparable.

It was a shame in Zeo where Rocky became the blue ranger and ultimately becamr a less important character.

I can't say which one is better. I like the both of them for different reasons.
I like Rocky because he was a sarcastic character in Zeo and he added a bit more humor and realism into the show.
I like Jason because he is the person you go to when you need help with something. He is also a nice guy too.
Both Rangers are awesome in my eyes. mrgreen

Although in Forever Red Jason appeared as the MMPR red ranger and not Rocky. That may be because Steve Cardanas, the actor of Rocky, has retired, like the actor of Leo, but he came back as a special favour, and was digitally inserted.

I'd have go with Rocky on this choice.
Jason was a great ranger, and being the first leader was a fantastic honor, I'm sure. But he always struck as an unrealistic character. He was too strong, he never really worried about anything, and the actor didn't look like he was enjoying his job. I lik Jason, but still.
Rocky, on the other hand, was completely overshadowed by the others, especially Tommy. I feel that if they had more episodes with him solving more problems and helping out the others, he would've shone through as the great ranger he was. Once they hit Zeo, he was completely shoved to the back burner. It was almost as if they only had him as Zeo III to have that blue ranger, which was changed immediately for Turbo.
So, to me, Rocky was a great actor and an overall better ranger than Jason.

Rocky was pretty cool in the MMPR movie, he was able to defeat one of the ectomorphicans by himself, before it got possessed by Ooze.

Jason looks just like this kid I babysit, exept for like BIGGER! It's really weird, I wish I had a picture so I could confirm that I'm not just crazy.

Jason. Hands down. He had a T-Rex and a Red Dragon for Zords.
Rocky had a monkey.

Rocky was better, and it's shame he wasn't in Forever Red as the Red Ninja Ranger.
Jason, although I'm fond of him due to nostolgia, was a muscle-head douche. He always used that fake low voice. If he was a new Ranger now, I'd hate him.
