My brother (for his birthday) wished to purchase a DS.
The problem being that the DS wouldn't come out for another (work-day) week.
So naturally, my mother pre-orders a DS for him, and waltzes into the GAME (Electronic Boutique's British replacement) store at around mid-day to buy it.
The store's DS section (expanded for launch) was completely bare, barring a copy of Project Rub (/Feel the Magic) and Mario 64 DS.
Fortunatly, she managed to pick those up. She didn't get told to pre-order those games, so it was rather unfair.
Apparently, it was completely sold out, and they were expecting a rush tomorrow, rather than today. Which most likely means that there will be many in that store tomorrow crying over the missing out on a DS.
She didn't check the other stores, but I can only presume that most places will also be sold out.
Take that, Sony. You ********.

Don't play the PSP. It drains all the life out of you. And not in a good way. It makes you so depressed that you want to destroy IT, as well as your DS.

The DS is doing well in Europe? Excellent! Every forum I visit, all I hear is "Nintendo's bombing in Europe, everyone wants online play", "Nintendo's screwed in Europe, it fuking sux!!1" etc.
Glad to hear they've taken a step up 3nodding

It is for now, but the PSP isn't released yet. After all my Nintendo praising in class, after that one guy bought his PSP in (imported from Japan), everyone was all over it. Even the Goddamn teacher knocked Nintendo.
"They suck. (Laugh.)"
I really hope they get ********. All of them. And what I really hate is the pair of fair-weather friends I have. One of them was 'seriously thinking about getting a DS' UNTIL he tried the PSP. And the other guy was very; "The DS is much better, PSP won't have a chance." until the guy bought it in, then it was; "Ohhh. I don't think Nintendo'll last, you want one, don't you? (Smirk.)"
