Rant about anything happening that is annoying you or making you mad. Everyone has had those moments where all you can do is rant about it. Rant here and get it out! mrgreen
My rant has to do about my cancer. I get blood drawn and checked for counts in white blood cells, red blood cells, platelets, magnisium and potassium almost every other day. Those three are the three main biggies that nurses and doctors look at. Also Hemoglobin for red blood cells. If platlets get low..I need a platlet transfusion. Hemoglobin is low..red blood cell transfusion..white blood counts are low..need a growth hormone shot to get bone marrow to grow white cells.
I go in Friday to get blood counts. Everything was fine and dandy. The white blood counts were six point something, which is excellent.
Wednesday I go in pre-chemo to get a blood count. They dropped two points to four point something. The pharmacy didn't have my chemo ready that day since they had to order it from the manufactorer.
Today I go in for my chemo and the nurse drew my counts. I figured they couldn't have dropped much further. I got the results back. They dropped another two points to two point something. Couldn't believe it! I asked my nurse if she thought I would need a neulasta shot (growth hormone shot that lasts 14 days in the system producing white cells) and she said to expect one, but not today. Now..The last time I got the neulasta shot I was in terriable bone pain. Heating pads barley worked. I have trouble swallowing pills so I can't take my oxycodone for chronic pain. (I might ask her - doctor, if I could move to this pain patch called feternyl..no swallowing/crushing required whee. )
I better not need it. Ami-chan in pain is not a good thing. I get really grumpy. I feel crummy cause counts are down. If they go any further I will be nuterpenic and that will mean probale hospital admittance until counts go up and will be prone to any and all infections.
I'm done ranting..your turn! ^_^; I feel much better.

I have a rant.
I am considering leaving my unions on GameSpot for dead.
Why?
Two of my unions, The Star Ocean Guild and The Black Lotus Society, are now listed as MIA, which in a nutshell is GameSpot's way of saying "Get the activity up in your unions or else we might disband them ourselves." It might soon be three, since I also have been slacking off big time with The Silver Rhythm Gang.
Now, if you ask me, it really isn't fair, everything considered, for GS to want people to stick around and post and such without any sort of incentive. Sure, people will stick around for a bit if they have friends around to chat with and such, but honestly, aside from checking in on news, new games, and reviews for games and such, there's no real reason to stick around for the people that just want to come and chat about their favorite things from time to time, since it can be done much more freely elsewhere.
Add to that the fact that I have been around GameSpot for more than a year now, and when I DID actually strive for my union(s) to be great, I had VERY little help (though I always appreciated the help I had.). Now that there's a chance the unions might die, lots of people that weren't ever willing to help before are up on their feet and willing to help all of a sudden when it may not even matter anymore, and there are even a couple of people with the gall to say "We need a more active leader!!"
