Did you guys know you can get a few master materias from Cosmo Canyon where the Huge materia is stored. Of course you must first master all the materia for that type of materia. Though not necessarily for command materia, don't need all of them mastered. I just need to master Knights of Round for the file I'm playing now, then I can get master summon to whoop with! scream ninja pirate You can do this before you fight Emerald Weapon, so as to whoop him in style, like I'm going to do. Old school.

DAMN!!!!! I wish I knew that before useing up all my sources. I would make my characters immortal! Or just wickedly powerful.

i think the w item trick can be used in junction with the dessert rose aswell, but i havnt tried, but if you can, infinate master materia!!!

To have infinite items by use of the W-item command, you must be in battle and select an item, use once, and instead of using again you just cancel. Try with a potion first until you get the hang of it. (O,O,X,O,X,O,X,O,X) Example: W-item command, circle, circle, cancel, circle, cancel, circle, cancel. You'll notice your inventory accumalate. This does not work for any item, like power source or any other source, or weapons. It does work for items like elixir, megalixir, turbo ether.

You can get more sources by morphing monsters in the sunken Gelnika by the way.

aye i have got a master materia of each for my 3 main characters and a w summon for each. my team is immortal

getting the master materias isnt that hard just master all of the other amteria its just takes a little while i have a master materia of every type for all of my favorite charaters. there are other areas where you can get sources besides the gelinka plane....ok at gongaga where you can have the optional fight to fight rufus and reno. on the map it looks like a bunch of ruins. go to the reactor part where you get the titan summon materia and run into a monster that looks like a croos between a tank and a tri ceratops. morph it into power sources. on the island where mideel is at run into the monsters that are pink and roll into balls when you hit them enough times and morph them into speed sources i think. to make the fights with the gelinka plane monsters easier, fly down to just below the second continent (the one you get on a boat to get too during the main story) and fly around alittle bit till you find this small isladn that is half grass and half desert run around in the desert area to fight cactaurs that you can morph into an accesory that is called tetra something (its been awhile since i lpayed that game so idont quite remember the name) which absorbs lighting, fire, adn cie attacks making the fights a whole lot easier.
