The bright red female had once again sneaked off from the den, not like her at all, but this place just interested her too much to stay in one place all the time. Her soft brown eye's watched the horizon over the tall grass as the sun just seemed to roll of her back, making the young half breed juvenille smile at the warmth the day provided.
As she approached a nearby waterhole, well, when I say waterhole, I mean a dieing puddle from the onslaught of the rain's the prideland's had seen before. But either way she saw it, she gently placed her creamy forepaw's into the cool water's before lowering her head and drinking from it. Tongue lapping at the refreshing liquid as her dark ear's flickered to keep out for any noise.

Mchele was feeling better than he had in a long time. Things were going very well, he'd figured out most of his thoughts and feelings and had even made a new friend. He practically bounced along. And then, feeling suddenly energetic and invigorated, he ran just for the fun of it.
Dashing as fast as he could, he leapt over small rocks and thicker clumps of grass, making a game of it. Little did he know he was headed right for the smaller female until her bright red fur appeared like a beacon. Mchele didn't slow though, he was in a too elevated mood. Instead he ran harder, aiming to jump over the top of the young lioness.

The little lioness, didn't hear the male until a few seconds later before she turned, brown eye's full of curiousity to see this blob of honey coloured fur coming at her. However she quickly gave out a loud surprised squeal and moved to lay flat against the ground. Hoping she'd atleast not get stepped on, or squished.

As the female ducked, Mchele sprang from his white paws and sailed clear over her. Landing a little past her, he grinned. In hindsight it ad been a pretty silly thing to do but he'd not harmed her. A small fright perhaps, and one he'd quickly dissipate now.
Having landed firmly, he stopped and turned back to the brown eyed juvenile. "Sorry about that." He said, continuing to smile. "Just a bit of fun, I didn't mean to scare you. And certainly didn't intend to pounce on you."
He sat, his tail flicking and flapping slightly on the warming ground near the mudpuddle. "I'm Mchele. I'm not sure if I've seen you... but then, there's so many new cubs and other rogues living here."

The bright red female watched him, however as she saw he wasn't as much a threat as another big probable playmate, she quickly stood up. Looking up at him before she smile sweetly.
"It's alright, I trusted you not to jump on me, it was just a shock."
She was right, it was a shock to see a honey coloured male suddenly chargeing toward her direction like an angry rhino, not that she'd ever made a rhino angry. But she could just assume.
"My name is Kianga." She answered to his own introduction. "My mom is a huntress here, she's the King's half-sister." She said, smiling.
She never took her being a small relation to the King to be a big thing, just something to tell her that she had a lovely Uncle and Aunt.
