Madeline shivered a bit as she looked down at her now tattered and torn cover sheet. It had looked so clean and pretty this morning, now--
Madeline,
The following children need to be vaccinated: Ligeia/ Ter Keanu Simon Nero Indigo Sahra
Your first appointment will be with Ligeia at 10:00am today. Keanu 12:00pm Simon 2:00pmSahra 3:00pm A reminder that they will be needing Chickenpox, Mumps, Meningococcal, Tetanus, Measles as well as immunizations which cover their animal DNA (i.e. Rabies, Kennel Cough) <--Ignore, NEEDS BOTH.
Best of luck! Have fun surviving!
It seemed the next victim to be was a adolescent named Sahra. Madeline traced a polished nail over the black ink of the paper before her. Name: Sahra, Sex: Female, DNA: Cheetah. Well, if this kid wanted to escape she would certainly have no problems doing so...better lock the door once she arrived.

"Oh come on now, it's not that bad." Slinking along in her usual attire, Mew had figured this was one of those things that a parent should be doing in place of another member in the household. So she had made the effort to make sure to be able to bring her daughter to this odd appointment, whether she wanted to or not. "There are things that could go through that are a lot more wretched, trust me. Besides, would you rather get sick and have to deal with that, or deal with a few measly little pokes in your arm for a far less amount of time?" She thought that would make sense to the girl, seeing as she thought quite logically for her age, unlike her.
"Okay, fine..." Sahra mumbled, dragging her feet along the hard, cold floor of the hallway they were traveling through, "I'll deal with them." Sighing, the cheetah stopped behind her mother as they seemed to approach their destination. Well hopefully this wouldn't take to long, and like her mother said, wouldn't be to painful. She was sure it wasn't, but didn't really know, since she had never had any experience with such things.
Tail swinging about, Mew yanked her white hood further over her head, reaching a fisted hand up to the door, knocking semi-hard. But as she did, the door swung open, and with in she observed the room. Okay, so that took care of that, but where was this doctor that was supposed to be here? "Hello?" The woman spoke oddly, padding into the area, quickly grabbing the girls arm and dragging the cheetah along with her.

After letting out an odd sort of grumble moan, Mew pulled her sweater tighter around her, yanking her hood forward, being paranoid of course; she didn't like the words of the odd "doctor." She knew nothing about them, other than their names, and maybe a few simple facts, but she did not know why Mew was forced to be as she was; Mew knew already that this may not end up being a very pleasant visit.
"Eeep!" Flinching and jumping backward into her mother, Sahra looked up to the strange woman. She had startled her, taken her by surprise, as many others had and did on a regular basis. Tail twitching madly, the cheetah pawed her way forward obediently, despite how uncomfortable she now felt. Seating herself on the table, she eyed her mother out of the corner of one forest green eye.
"No questions at all, go ahead and get it over with." Mew spoke simply, seating herself off to the side without even being told to. Ears flattening below her hood, the woman couldn't help but think that she just wanted to get this over with as soon as possible and get out.

Madeline worked quickly getting everything ready: Chickenpox, Mumps, Meningococcal, Tetanus, Measles....was there anything else she needed. Rabies. Yeah she had gotten that. Did cats need to get Kennel cough too? Oh well. Better to be safe than sorry! One of the lessons which had been driven over and over into Madeline's head over the years.
With the tray ready to go Madeline made her way over to where Sahra had taken a seat. "All ready?" Madeline asked with a chipper smile. Wow, this had been easier than she had expected. No running child, no screaming, mother was a little grumpy--but Madeline pushed it from her mind.
Over all, this family appeared to be one of the more normal at D-corp.
Madeline lifted the first injection. "If you look away, you won't even notice."

"Ack." Flinching, the cheetah whipped her head to the side, closing her eyes tightly. It couldn't be that bad, no, just a few pricks of a tiny needle and she could be on her way. She just hoped that this woman would get it all done fast and not to mess around to much, she didn't like this place, no, not at all, but in a different sense than her mother did. It just seemed so...gloomy? And blank, yes blank.
Crossing her legs, Mew eyed every single movement of the woman, not caring that her expression might seem a little overly suspicious of things. Letting out a soft grumble, the air about the feline buzzed with a sense of annoyance, definitely expressing it well, she tried to turn her mind to other things.
Shoving his way through the door, Ephrem leaned himself up against the door frame and coiled himself up. Head jerking about, grey eyes flickering every which way, as he attempted to assess the situation. His partner, the cheetah, was sitting on some sort of table, and their mother figure was sitting off to the side, not to far from himself. But there was another creature, one messing around with some sort of tool? He wondered what her purpose was, well, he guessed he'd find out.
Neither mother nor daughter took notice of the entrance of the dragon, for he had fallen behind some time ago, keeping a distance not purposing, but simply because he was looking over every little detail as they walked. He hadn't been in this area before, so, he must take note of everything!

Madeline's eye turned to view the beast which now poked its head in through her spick and span office door. Oh my, not another one of them, the last couple ones she had had to deal with had been a very big pain in the...erm, well, they had been a pain.
Madeline just hoped this one would be content to stay where it was and let the doctor do the things which she should be doing, which right now included stabbing the pointy cold metallic needle into the fair girls arm.
Nimble fingers worked fast as she grabbed a lump of Sah's skin and pinched it tightly. It would be easer to inject this way, not to mention Sah wouldn't be able to feel the needle entering her skin.
Behind her Madeline could feel the cold gaze of Mew. Ah, well, some parents were more concerned than others, thankfully Madeline was an expert at what she did...which was, a whole bunch of things, giving shots just happened to be one of them.
Faster than you could blink the doctor had managed to give four of the needed shots. "Just a few more," She said under her breath as she moved on to finish the rest. "So tell me, how old are you Sah?"

"Eeek!" Madeline jumped for a second putting down the fifth injection which she held in her hands. These...these beasts! They would be the end of her. That was it! No more dragons in the clinic...ever! Not under her watch. They were a danger not only to her, but the patients as well. Why, Madeline tried to imagine what would have happened had she been working on Sah and been startled. Oh my...the girl would not have been happy.
Regaining her composure Madeline tried to work around the fickle thing. "O-oh, how wonderful." She smiled, rubbing the poor abused skin and fur which she had poked, before she cruelly stuck another needle in. "I remember that age...it's a wonderful time. You're having so much fun that you don't really notice how time flies...soon you'll be all grown."
She said the last line rather dreamily as she finished up the last shot. Ah, what a sad thought, especially for a mother or teacher. These little things who need you constantly suddenly don't need you...or want you...and some how you wish that they were two years old again.

"Uh, yeah, right, what ever you say..." Turning her head the opposite way of the woman, she cringed, wanting so badly to let out a loud yelp. It would make her feel better! The lady could have been nicer about it, too... "Can we leave yet?" She asked nervously, edgy and uncomfortable about the whole ordeal. Sahra really didn't want Ephrem to lunge out and get himself in trouble.
Arising from her seat, Mew had decided on her own that it was nearly time to leave. She was quickly growing tired of the place, and irritated with it's keeper. "I think it is." The leopard rambled, stepping into the doorway; Or at least I hope, too.
Letting another hiss escape from his teeth, he took a swing at the strange lady with one limb. Not to do any damage thou, it came up short, but merely to warn her. He was truly ticked off, and not a happy dragon, but he had enough common sense not to get to out of hand. "Shoo!" He said in his strange tone, one word he knew very well at this point in time.

Suddenly Madeline was feeling quite uncomforatble in this whole situation. The air in the room had grown rather heavy with an electricty of un-welcome. Oh well, it as all for the better. Even though she knew she shouldn't be thinking that and should be polite, she was going to be very happy to get this day done and over with.
"Yes, you may." Said the doctor. She even opened the door for the "happy" family as they left, mother, daughter, dragon and all.
With a smile upon her face Madeline now locked the office door behind her. Sweet praises! It was over with! Now she could only hope that D-corp wouldn't be calling on her often.
