Okay there is a movie coming out that is based on FF VII xd and it's two years later after the defeat of Sephiroth. Does anyone have any info about it?

EDIT: If you're kickin' around Venice on September 4th, be sure to hit the Venice Film Festival!
Advent Children will be screened at 8:00pm, and will play for about 30mins (it's assumed that it will be the beginning of the movie).

Im really looking forwerd to this moive. I hadnt even played FFVII so when I saw that there was the movie coming out I had to go out and play it.
I think the graghics for this movie look great but still no one really knows of the story line but I hope its good.
But we"ll see

Rubydoe Im really looking forwerd to this moive. I hadnt even played FFVII so when I saw that there was the movie coming out I had to go out and play it. I think the graghics for this movie look great but still no one really knows of the story line but I hope its good. But we"ll see from what I can tell, and from what different websites have been told, basically the storyline is that its 2 years after FF7, and Cloud is helping Tifa run a orphanage that is based at Aeris church in Midgar slums. And 3 mysterious people appear after a strange sickness begins spreading from the crater in which sephiroth was defeated.

Hmm, yeah, that would be possible. The last thing I heard about Cloud and Tifa was basically what I posted before.
The version I heard was that Cloud went off on his own because of his grief for Aerith or some such thing. . . I'm wondering if someone got his story mixed up with Vincent's though, since he went off on his own too (though most likely for different reasons). Oh how I wish I knew more Japanese.

Alright, new information, apparently Cloud IS living with orphans, it has been confirmed now in an interview with the creator. He tells the basic storyline of the movie, and other small tidbits. Just go to www.AdventChildren.net and look under the news on the first page for the PDF file that is on the site, and it will load. Look at the second paragraph to see the english version of the interview ^^ Have fun

Omg. I am so hyped about that movie. Hopefully, it won't turn into a total disappointment, considering the amount of development time used to create it.
From the ads that I'd seen on www.adventchildren.net, the movie is going to be awesome in terms of graphics. But they totally shouldn't have introduced those three new characters. Sure, every movie needs a bad-guy(s) to get the story going but how much plot and character development can you fit into 70-80 minutes? Now...if the movie was around 3-4 hours, perhaps it'd be plausible...
Sigh.
