Welcome to the Xavier Institute for Higher Learning The Xavier Institute, having been rebuilt numerous times over it's storied history is the world's first school catering specifically to the needs of x-gene positive children, popularily referred to as mutants. The Xavier Institute prides itself on being a safe and secure location for students to live, work, and play free from the complications facing mutant children in integrated schooling environments. The Institute is also home to th world famous X-Men, the premier mutant super team dedicated to making the world a better place for everyone that lives on it, human and mutant alike.

"DARK PHOENIX!" Kate shouted just as the guards were breaking down the door.*
It was the last thing Rachel saw before being transported from the future.
Now as she stood in front of a clean still-standing Xavior's school she hoped she could change all that was about to happen.
"Ok Rach, just walk up, ring the bell and save the world. No pressure or anything." she mutters to herself as she buzzed the intercome.
"I have to speak to Xavior." she calles into the intercome.

((Not that this is really a role play thread but what the hell))
Kitty sat crosslegged in her room as she upgraded her computer. She looked over at Lockheed who was looking out the window at whoever maybe outside the mansion. She smiled and looked back the the motherboard that was lying in pieces in front of her.
"Alright. So if I add a little bit more RAM here and some better sound cards here this would probably wrap this up."
She was about to tweak with a couple wires when the Professor decided to contact her.
~Kitty. Would you mind seeing who's at the front door?~
"Yeah sure alright."
She stood up and brushed herself free of any computer guts that may be lying on her person. She phased herself through her floor and down to the main level of the house. Heading to the front door, she mumbled to herself question the whereabouts of any of the others. She opened the door to see Rachel.

Deep within the bowels of the mansion...
"Computer, activate program XSE-17."
"Loading..."
The Danger Room grew dark.
"During the domination of the Sentinels, only a few cities on Earth remained free of their control. The only free city in North America was Detroit. This city owed a great debt to Derracles, its protector. Said to be the son of a Greek god, he told those who asked how he kept Detroit safe, he would only say 'No machine can get the best of me.' No one knew who Derracles truly was. Perhaps he was a demi-god. Other hypothosises were that he was a member of the fabled race of Eternals, or that he was a mad Alpha-class mutant. He vanished soon after the Summers' Rebellion ended."
"It is 2034. You are Derracles. You must defend Detroit from a Sentinel attack, using the powers and weapons that history says Derracles possessed. Destroy enough Sentinels in five minutes to force the Sentinels to leave, while keeping the city intact as much as possible."
The future city of Detroit began to form around Bishop. In the night sky, the first wave came closer and closer. His skin alight with pale blue flames, "Derracles" leapt up over the buildings to attack.
