Topic's first post reserved for a possible compilation. chaoticdivinity Chao grimaced, sticking out her own tounge, "ugh, no, ooowwwww, that would hurt so much."
"I jus no sneeze," Cheshire replied with a shrug, flopping onto the other boy.
Berial nodded, not wishing to get up, especially since he was now being used as a cushion. He could hear the adults talking in the other room.. The jittery man who'd picked him up seemed wierd. "Who that lady you with 'fore?" He asked. Maybe she found Chesh, like Erik did him.

Chao shuddered, "having anything burred off it horrible," she replied, giving her hair a fond pat.
"Tha's my Mu..." Cheshire replied, staring up at the ceiling and yawning. The other boy made quite an excellent pillow.

"True, though for some reason eyebrows and hair are especially bad.. But at least they grow back." Chuckling,aas if at a fond memory he pointing to a spot on his ehad. "I used to have a bald spo t there from the time I tried to invent a machine that would peep shrimp.. It only jsut grew back." He said, searching the cabinets for a collander so he could finish this pasta.
"So Erik my Mu?" He asked. He did seem to have to go with him and he did seem fun, in his odd, jittery sort of way.

Chao nodded, "it's probably because it's so evident, makes you feel really self conscious if you've got no eyebrows or your hair's singed at the tips or gone completely."
"And why would you want a machine that would prep shrimp?" ah, seafood... not her favorite thing in the world.
"Mmm..." Cheshire thought about it and nodded, "Erik your Mu."

"Because its such a hastle to peel." He said matter of factly, puring the water and pasta into the collender over the sink. Steam rose up and Erik put it down, wiping some steam of his forehead. "There.. Ready.. WOuld you like some?"
Berial nodded, he liked how it sounds and it did give him some light onto this whole situation. "My Mu act funny. He jumpy." He stated matter of factly.

Serving out three plates, Erik then remembered about Cheshire and hurriedly dolloped out a fourth serving onto a plate. Setting it on the table, eh felt oddly proud of his work, now if only the others would aprove of his cooking. Then he'd be fine. Peering out of the kitchen he looked around.. 'Kids.. the food's ready." He called out.
Berial nodded and then the call reached his ears. His stomach had been reminding him of his hunger and he tapped Cheshire as to tell him to get off him. 'Food!"

"Food!" Cheshire grinned and rolled off Berial, quickly grabbing the other boy's hand he dragged him off towards the kitchen.
Chao trotted over to the old refrigerator that'd been shoved into the corner and shifted foods around until she found the parmasean cheese. Nudging it closed with her hip she placed the block of cheese on the table then retrieved utensils and a cheese grater before sitting down.

Berial felt his arm yank as he was tugged towards the ktichen. He stumbled at first, not yet used to tiny legs, but caught himself and rushed after Cheshire into the kitchen. "Whasat?" He asked, pointing to the large block of cheese. It looked familiar, and he knew he liked it, but the name had evaded him.
"Mmemmeeemm." Erik tried to reply to the child through a mouthfull of pasta. Strands of the spagetti still clung to his chin until he slurped it all up. "Cheese." He said, much more clearly, his cheeks a bit red at having shown such bad manners in front of Chao. He just couldn;t resist answering questiosn he knew answers to.

Cheshire grinned, letting go of Berial's hand to scamper into his chair, up onto the pillow that sat on it to give him the extra height to see over the table.
"Food?" he asked, looking to his mother hopefully before glancing back to Berial and grinning, gesturing to the other chair. Berial should sit up high too!
"Mhmm, food, tis cheese," Chao nodded her acent, smiling lightly at the garbled speech and spooning up servings of pasta for the boys. She looked to Chesh and Berial, "would you two like some?"
"Yes pwease," Cheshire replied with a bright smile.

Berial had to try hard to force himself up onto the chair. He stumbled and feel back to his feet once, but upon hsi second attempt, he was on the chair, sitting and smiling. He felt so tall. This felt much better. "Food please, too.." He said, looking over at Chao and smiling.
"Goodness. You two are sickeningly cute.." Erik said, watching the two incredulously. How could they pull of such cuteness with so little effort?!

Chao laughed "it's amazing, isn't it?" she commented and cut up the pasta into better children sized bites before grating a healthy dose of cheese onto both sevings then handing each child their plates and forks, "there you go."
Cheshire grinned happily at his now equally tall friend and gathered up some cheese covered pasta with his fork, taking a large bite.
"Don't forget to chew," Chao commented airly, mentally shuddering at how old she sounded, and dug into her own pasta.

Berial picked up his little fork and smiled. 'Tanks." He said, before digging into hsi dish, smiling, though cheese quickly became messily sprawled on the table.
Erikw atched, eating hsi meal with just a bit more grace than his charge. "So.. Uh.. Chao. What's it like to be a guardian?" He asked. IT had finally sunk in. He had to care for someone. Not just an someone. A sickeningly cute someone.

"You're welcome," Chao replied, taking slow bites of her pasta. The choice with her mind was often eat slowly and savor or eat like a dog because you might not know when the next meal would be or how long this one would last.
Chao bit her lip at the question then shrugged, "it's like being a parent, I guess, except often without the diapers. With my first it was a little weird, suddenly I had another life I had to take care of and worry about...."
Cheshire happily joined in the accidental mess making until his fingers slipped and his hand ended up covered in cheese shaving. After staring at it for a moment he clapped both hands together and it snowed.

Erik chuckled. "I wouldn't know much. Never been a parent either." He said chuckling. "I'm an inventor. Give me gears and I can work them out.. People.. well.. I try.." He said, flashing a shy smile to Chao before returning to his food.
Berial watched in awe. "Pretty!!" He exclaimed. He wanted some white stuff too, though it never occured to him to dump his own. He shoudlnt; waste food like that. Instead he resorted to leanign over and trying to catch the ones that Cheshire sent inot the air.
