Ra sat on the grass just outside campus a cigarette in one hand, a crumpled piece of paper in the other. He had showered and changed since the incident earlier, wearing his usual baggy jeans and a short sleeved utility shirt. As the smoke curled upward from his cigarette he looked down at the paper. He had only been half reading it. The other half of his mind still trapped of the days events. Sora's deception, Scarlett's tears, the wierd feeling he had when he saw Chii talking to that strange guy. He took a calming drag on his cigarette and looked back to the paper. It was advertising a festival of some kind. He recognised the Kanji. Cherry Blossoms? there was a picture of a map that showed the road by the river and also the kanji for food. He thought about it for a moment and looked up at the early evening sky. It was clear and warm, perfect night for a walk. Easing his phone out of his pocket he flipped it open and scrolled down to Chii's number. Leaving a message for her to join him by the gates he smoked the rest of his cigarette and went to meet her.
Bursting out of her dorm, she flung her satchel over her shoulder. She was running about 10 minutes late because she'd been in the shower when Ra called. He sounded different than normal. Slower her pace down to a brisk walk she wondered if it had something to do with what had happened earlier. Eventhough it had been an accident she still felt strangely guilty about it. she'd wanted to talk to him about it, but he left so early, and then she'd had her appointment later on that day, so she couldnt' see him then. Running her hands through her hair she hoped he wasn't too pissed. Spying the gate in front of her she picked up her pace again. Only 10 minutes late. She jogged over to Ra, a little out of breath. "Hey, I'm sorry for being late. I was in the shower when you called, and well, couldn't come right away." She smiled, trying to gauge how he was feeling.
"Hey." He said as she reached him, a soft smile on his lips. "You don't need to apologise. I was keeping myself amused trying to read this." He showed her the crumpled leaflet. "It's for a festival, Cherry Blossoms I think. Down on the river." He shrugged and handed it to her. "Thought you might like to go." His sentences were clipped and short. Not out of irritation just nerves. There were things he was going to have to tell her and he wasn't sure if she was going to like them. He gave a small sigh. "There's some stuff I need to tell you too. About the way I acted today." He gave her a reassuring smile. "Nothing too bad, just stuff I need you to know and understand. Let's walk and chat."
Chii's widened as he mentioned the Cherry festival, she'd always wanted to go to one, and nodded enthusiastically when he asked. "I'd love to go! I've never been to one but I've heard about them before. Sakura blossoms are so beautiful." Her enthusiasm was cut short by the words that followed. Not that she hadn't expected something was up, she was just worried about what it was. Her hands played nervously with the strap of her satchel, as she fumbled over her words. "O-oh okay. " She tried to take comfort in his words as they walked, that it really wasn't anything 'too bad', but something in the pit of her stomach just wouldn't let her.
As they began to walk towards the river Ra sensed the hesitation in her voice. He was being vague again when he should really get to the point. Taking her hand gently he gave it a light squeeze. "I wanted to apologise for just walking off earlier and explain why I did, but first I need to back track a little." The sun was once again crowning the mountains, bathing them in a golden glow. "I don't think I've told you, but the medication I take is strong, so strong I have to take another set of pills to combat the side effects." He gave a small laugh. "Makes no sense. It messes with my head, I mean it's fine for school work most of the time. But it can effect my temprement, especially in emotionally tense situations. I was completely confused earlier. Angry at Sora, at Scarlett, a bit upset by your words. It was all swirling around in my head and I couldn't cope with it. And that guy, when I saw the way he was looking at you it made things worse." He paused to take a breath and look up at the mountains. "When things get like that I have to stop. I have to take a moment and clear my head. Otherwise I'll do or say something that I'll regret. I'm used to it, I've had to do it for years...but, well, that's it. I'm sorry for walking off but I didn't know what else to do."
Chii just walked by his side, letting him get it all off his chest. Her mother always told her that people needed room at times like these, so she was doing her best to give Ra as much room as he needed. Pretty much the only thing that made sense to her were his feeling towards the blue haired guy, and needing to clear his head in moments like that. The rest of it, she coudln't really follow. He was angry at Sora? at Scarlett? even at her? She took a few moments to think about what it was she'd said earlier. She frowned, her eyebrows knitting themselves together. She hadn't thought her words bad...but maybe that was just it, she hadn't thought. "I'm sorry, my words upset you. I didn't mean them too. It was just an accident, so I didn't think he deserved a lashing for what happened."
She looked down at the ground, her head still a mess. "Really though, you don't have to apologize for walking off. I just figured you'd forgotten to do something, or like you said you had an appointment." She looked up at him, still confused, but not really sure what to do.
Ra sighed. "I know Sora didn't need a lashing, I know you didn't mean what you said. Which is why I walked away from all of the action. O.k the problem." He bagan. She really didn't seem to get how flippant she had sounded at all. "Sora almost kissed Scarlett the other week, I don't know exactly what went on, I just know his flirting went a bit to far and Scarlett thought it was something more.
Aparently he told her that he was saving his first kiss for someone special. So she freaked out when he kissed you. That made me angry beacause if they stop talking to each other I get stuck in the middle. Selfish I know, but it's true. Scarlett will want me to side with her, but I don't know if I can or want to." He let go of her hand and reached into her bag for a cigarette, this was getting confusing again. "O.k that accidental kiss. It's not the kiss that bothered me, I know it was an accident. It was Sora's lack of regard for what he had just done. He didn't apologise to you. Then because I was annoyed by that, your reply to him about 'not asking permission' and 'you couldn't have picked a worse time.' I don't know, it hurt a little. Almost like a wasn't even there." He gave another sigh and lit the cigarette taking it out of his mouth and inhaling to the warm air.
"I mean I know -now- I was being totally stupid. Which is why I walked away at the time." He shrugged. "I didn't want to make it into a big deal and then regret it after when I realised I was being stupid. Does that make any sense?" He asked wincing a little. He knew what he wanted to say but none of it seemed to be coming
Chii remained silent, trying to let his words sink in, as well as trying to see things from his point of view. She squeezed her eyes shut. Now she understood why he was mad, she'd made it seem like had Ra not been there, or the others she would have let Sora kiss her, which she hadn't meant at all. "I'm sorry." Was all she could get out at first. "I'm sorry I wasn't more offended, but I didn't know about the situation with Sora and Scarlett. I would have responded differently if I had, and I was very much aware of you being there, which is half the reason I responded with such a silly response. I was nervous, and didn't know how'd you react, so I tried to lighten the situation. But I guess I shouldn't have. I'm sorry Ra." She gazed back up at him, her eyes were glassy. She tried to calm her nerves. "I know what you mean. People say stupid things when they're nervous, or angry....but I'm glad you told me."
Ra looked down at Chii and smiled. "Which is why I took a time out. Because I know you ddin't mean what you said. And I told you because it made me think. About how the pills affect me. I realised there were things you needed to know." He sighed again, finishing off his cigarette and stepping it out. "Sometimes they make me sick, especially when I have to come off them for a while. I get withdrawals. I get snappy and irritable...that's not meant to scare you off at those times. They are when I need you more, I just wanted you to know about this. It's not something I can control." he looked up, they were approaching the festival, in the dimming lights lanterns were already glowing.
Lighting the pink blossoms. People walked down the long avenue of trees, stopping to buy food from kiosks and admire the blossoms. "If I go silent on you, ever it's not because I want you to leave me alone...quite the opposite. I just need the silence." He gave another sigh and put his arm around her shoulder. "Yesterday was just too many emotions all at once. An odd, odd day."
Chii tightened her fist, a look of determination on her face. "I'll do my best to recognize such signals, but I may not always be on target, so just let me know if i'm not getting the clue. I'm here for you 110%, whatever you need." She smiled. "...and I can be silent....sometimes it's tough, but I'll do it!" The sight of the festival off in the distance grabbed her attention. "Ooooooo! It's so pretty!!" She coudl smell the food too, her stomach growled a little. "Hehe, whatever that is, it smells reallly good." She blushed, and snuggled close to Ra as his arm found its way around her. "Thank you for telling me Ra, and I really am sorry about yesterday." Her eyes travelled back to the festival, growing wide so they could take it all in.
Ra grinned as he looked at all the lights of the stalls, the smells were amazing. "Don't worry about it." He grinned. "Let's go and get some food and stake out a spot to enjoy the evening." He watched all the people sat laughing and joking under the trees it all looked so much fun. "What did you find out about the blue haired boy?" He asked, not trying to have a dig at her but genuinly curious. "He looked like he could give Sora a run for his money."
Chii grinned, truely entranced by all the sighs and sounds. It was as if she and Ra were in another world, transported away from Aquila, and it felt heavenly. As they walked over to a food stall, she grinned at his question. "Nothing much really. His name is Xio. He is new, and seems really friendly. I think he'd fit in well with our group of friends." she nodded, thoughtfully. "His hair is so cool. So blue. I've never seen blue hair like that. Maybe I should go blue? What do you think?" She giggled, holding up a few strands of her hair.

Ra gave Chii a sideways grin as they approached the foodstalls, she sound of the people and the noise of generators was overwhelming when combined with the interesting smells. "It was a cool colour....but I like your hair colour. Natural red is unusual. Much more interesting than some blue from a bottle." He gave a smirk and ran his eyes over the food on display there was so much of it. Noodles, some ball shaped things, what looked like fish shaped wafers. Sooo interesting. "Is there anything you want in particular? I could get a couple of things and we can have a dinner picnic?"Chii beamed, she liked her hair too, but hearing Ra compliment it was just so much better. "Thank you. I like yours too, makes you look really sexy." She blushed, quickly turning her attention to the food. Everything looked so good, she didn't know where to start. "I think getting a few things would be a good idea. Half of this stuff I've never had, but it looks so good." She walked away from him to look at another stall's food, and was about to call him over when she stopped, and just watched him. Ever since that night Ra looked completely different to her, in a good way, a very good way. He was such a sexy guy, and so sweet. Sometimes she wondered how she'd gotten so lucky. Letting out a heavy sigh, her cheeks flushed, she smiled and headed back over to his side.Ra moved closer to the stall, a bit nervous about asking for the food. He knew he could always just point, but that would be too easy. He spoke four languages, this shouldn't be a problem. Only Japanese was different, at least English was related in a distant way to Farsi and Arabic. Smiling at the old woman stood behind the steaming hot plates he squinted at the signs and praised that they were written in Hiragana. Asking for Yakisoba, Tacoyaki, Taayaki and two bottles of tea he pulled his wallet out of his pocket and payed. The woman Handed him three hot boxes and the tea. "Are you just going to stand there and watch?" He joked at Chii. Gesturing to the boxes with his eyes. "We should go and find somewhere to sit before it gets too crowded." "I wasn't just standing here, you...goober..." She huffed jokingly, and took the teas placing them in her satchel, then grabbed the box of takoyaki from him, and started off for a grassy spot right on the river, underneath one of the sakura trees. "That looks like a nice spot." She skipped off to claim it. Setting the takoyaki down momentarily, she slipped off her satchel and sat down indian style. Glancing around she waited for him to catch up, then extended her hands towards him so that he could give her the other boxes while he sat down."What?" He laughed. Walking over to join her. He handed her the hot boxes and the wooden chopsticks as he sat cross legged. "You know it's not an insult if I can't understand you." He said playfully taking one of the boxes and opening it. The spot was indeed a good one. Out of the way of the crowds of people but still close enough for them to remain emersed in the atmosphere of the festival. "What do you reckon is in those?" He asked pointing to the round balls of batter. I could read the words but I couldn't remember what they meant.""Well, maybe if you were listening.....I...called...you...a...gooooober." She smirked, and pulled out the teas, setting one in front of Ra and holding onto the other one. She attempted to open it as she spoke. "What are they called again?" She glanced at the lid. "Ta-ko-ya-ki.....tako...Oh! I think tako is octopus, so I'd wager a guess that it's octopus in batter?!" She smiled, then went back to trying to get the lid off the tea. Her tongue stuck out a little, and her eyebrows were knit together as she struggled. Looking up at Ra she smiled again, "Don't wait for me, go ahead I'll get some in a minute...just, gotta.....get....this..."because it amused me. Medea says: (lol...she's sooo gonna end up with octopus in her face) (it'll fly open and baaam Tako face...) Rin says: (hah....that would be horrid...) Medea says: (yup it would...the sauce on them is sticky.) Rin says: (aawww....that would suck....but then, Ra woudl just have to lick it off her) (oooooh!!! *bricked* ) Medea says: ( lmao) Rin says: (hahaa) Medea says: (Face porn blossom viewing.) Rin says: (*snort* ) Ra narrowed his eyes in mock annoyance. "I -know- what you called me...I've never heard that before. Goober? did you make it up?" He smirked watching her fight with the container. "Ahhh Tako." He paused pulling the elastic bands off the yakisoba box and letting it pop open. "Do you want me to have a go?" He asked taking th chopsticks and placing them on the third unopened box.Chii hung her head in defeat, and extended the bottle towards Ra. "Yes...please. And no, I didn't make goober up, I picked it up from my mom. She uses it alot, don't know where she got it from though." She lifted her head and smiled. "It's not some terrible insult, more like a friendly, loving insult. Someone who's dorky cute...that sort of thing. It's hard to explain. It's its own world." Picking up the box of Takoyaki and her chopsticks, she grabbed one of the balls and took a huge bite out of it. After chewing it for a few seconds, her eyes widened. "ooooooooo.....this is terrible...you won't want any of this at all. But no, don't worry I'll eat your portion so it wont' go to waste. It'll be hard, but for you I can do it." She chuckled and popped the other half into her mouth. He smiled at her explaination of the term. It was a funny word, he'd suspected it didn't have any real meaning but being curious he always thought it best to ask. Dorky cute? he wasn't sure he fitted either. It made him flush a little as he wrenched the lid open making it jump a little. "Oh riiight. Yeah you look so disgusted by it." He laughed breaking the chopsticks apart. "If it's that terrible I wouldn't be a gentleman if I let you eat it all." He said making a bold dive with his chopsticks to take one of the balls. Putting it in his mouth he chewed. As he suspected, it tasted goood. "Mmm. You're right. totaly disgusting." He gave a smirk and swallowed. "Bet I can eat more that you!"Chii burst out laughing as he broke his chopsticks apart. He was onto her, and that was never good. As he dove for one of the balls she squealed. "Heeeeeeey! It's not nice to steal another's person's food!" She laughed and shook her head as he popped the takoyaki into his mouth. "Oh no way! You challenged the wrong girl!" She cried and popped another takoyaki into her mouth. Taking the tea from Ra she nodded in thanks and washed her food back.
"Rashne Kusani, you should admit defeat, 'cause I'm going to devour these in record time!" While she really intended to defeat him, the fact of the matter was that the takoyaki were too big for her mouth...but that wasn't going to stop her."Your so going to lose." He taunted watching her try to bite the ball that was clearly too big for her mouth. Picking one up he closed his mouth round the whole thing and started chewing, a taunting grin on his face. Swallowing he moved onto the next one. "Oooh Two to One. I'll have to think of a good losers dare." He laughed placing his third one in his mouth.Chii watched helplessly as he stuffed yet another one into his mouth WHOLE. He was right of course, there was no way she was gonna win if he was eating them whole, and she could only manage half at a time. But like hell she was gonna give up without a fight. Spearing another one she shoved the whole thing in her mouth, and not a second later was regretting it severely. Glancing up at Ra she was suddenly overcome with laughter. People walking past were staring at them, and she could just picture what the two of them looked like to those walking past. Placing a hand on Ra shoulder she tried to calm her laughing down so that she could finish chewing. Once finished, she squeezed his shoulder. "Hey, hey, slow down. I conceed, you win. There's no way I can win, my mouth just isn't big enough....unlike yours!" She snorted, the laughter slowly returning. "Let's just enjoy the rest of them. They're far too good to thrust down our throats." She leaned back and picked up her tea to wash down the takoyaki. "So, you get one dare, or whatever, since I lost." She grinned and took another sip of tea.

((wooohoo...Ra, Prince of cheese is back.))
Ra was glad she had given in, not because he had a good dare but because chomping down octopus at that speed would probably have made him sick in the end.
Putting his chopsticks down he grinned. "One dare." He mused and looked around. There were quite a few people around them, walking around over by the food stalls and sitting on the banks of the river. So many fun dares were out. He turned to look at Chii, who was grinning at him, her green eyes glinting with her laughter. She looked so pretty.
He smiled, knowing exaclty what he wanted her to do. "O.k. Your dare is to kiss me. A proper kiss, in public." It was a crap dare, he knew that much, but the last thing he wanted to do was get her into trouble. This was slightly daring, considering the conservative Japanese audience but totally innocent.

Chii sat there quietly, enjoying the atmosphere as he thought of a dare. Looking up at him she saw a change in his eyes, he'd found a dare and a good one too by the looks of it. As he smiled she prepared herself for what was to come...
A kiss?...that was it? but then, it wasn't just any kiss, it was a proper kiss not a peck on the cheek or the lips, a proper, real, full blown kiss...in front of all these people, who were watching them...
Chii sighed lightly, then smiled. Piece of cake, she told herself. She could forget the whole world when locked to those lips. Making sure her mouth was clear of any leftover bits of tako she leaned foward, onto her hands and knees and brought her face right up to Ra's, looking deep into his smokey grey eyes. Gently, as if to tease, she kissed his upper lip, then slowly she moved to his lower lip, nibbling at it a bit before giving it a soft peck. Then, with her eyes concentrated on his mouth, she pressed her lips to his. Her tongue found his instantly, twirling itself around it. The world around her faded away. No longer did she hear the music playing, children laughing, the gasps from people as they passed by. Ra and his lips were all she knew at that moment.
The kiss was long and deep, hard and soft, but full of desire. Kissing Ra was akin to heaven for Chii, it was better than anything in the world, and she let him know it!

Kayne strolled leisurely between the stalls, taking in all of the sights, sounds, and smells. He was glad Cirrus had conviced him to go with her to the festival. He just wished she hadn't disappeared and left him on his own. She was much more comfortable mingling in the Japanese culture. He ambled on down by the river, the sounds of the crowd playing into a nice backdrop to the peacefulness of the flowing water. He glanced up to look at the illuminated blossoms and smiled happily. They were very beautiful. Slowly his eyes dropped back down to fall on a familiar figure, with a not so familiar person attatched to his lips. Grinning, Kayne couldn't resist. Silently he approached the couple, stopping when he was standing over them. Red hair. So this was the girlfriend he was supposed to be afraid of. She didn't look like much of threat to him.
"Damn Kusani. Can't you control yourself man? I seriously doubt your girlfriend would appreciate seeing you locking lips with such a beautiful woman," he teased rather loudly.

Ra too lost himself to the kiss, as her tongue met his he slid his arms around her and pulled her closer to him, one hand sliding up to her hair. Kissing her back with as much intent as she kissed him he almost missed the voice of the person standing over them. Well, no he heard it, maybe even recognised it, but he blocked it out so he could spend a few more moments lost in Chii's kiss. Her soft lips, her gentle touch.
A few seconds after the voice spoke he broke away from Chii slowly and turned lazily to the voice. "Huh?" He said his eyes falling on the familiar figure of Kayne, but not really registering his prescence.

Completely absorbed in the kiss as well, it was only after Ra broke away from her that she saw the guy standing over them. Her cheeks flushed, embarrassed by his close proximity. Can we say voyeur much... she commented to herself, and slowly sat back on her heels.
She was still wondering what he was doing there, it was evident that he knew Ra but still, hadn't he heard of not interrupting people. Not having heard his 'girlfriend' comment, Chii just sat there and waited with a slightly confused look on her face.

Grinning at their soft expressions, Kayne sank down to kneel next to them so that he wasn't towering over them.
"I said," he started, feigning exasperation, "Damn Kusani. Can't you control yourself? I seriously doubt that your girlfriend would appreciate seeing you making out with such a beautiful woman." He repeated himself, this time adding a wink directed in Chii's direction. She was awful cute.

Ra flushed when his senses finally returned and sank back to a cross legged position. He was a bit embarassed and rather annoyed at being interrupted at such a moment. "Ever heard of timing?" He said slightly irritably as he picked the grass off his knees. "And very funny, This is my girlfriend, Chiitra. Chii, this is Kayne."
He introduced them with a calm air, the events that has happened between their fight and the present making it seem as though it had never happened. He completely forgot Chii's anger over the fight and that he and Kayne had since made up.

Chii simply raised an eyebrow at Kayne's comment. If he was trying to be funny he had competely failed. She didn't even know this guys name yet and already she wasn't liking him.
Then Ra introduced them. Chii really wished that had been the end of it. Hi nice to meet you, now go away so i can continue to make out with my insanely hot boyfriend... that's what she wanted to say, but of course she'd been brought up better than that. Slowly she extended her hand for him to shake, and strained smile on her face. "Hi Kayne, it's nice to meet you."
...and then it clicked. She knew she recognized the name, but she couldn't remember why, or how, but now she did, and suddenly it all made sense why she didn't like this guy. It wasn't just because he had shitty timing, he'd full out hit Ra, for no good reason too! Chii flashed a WTF? look at Ra, and got to her feet.
"No, I take that back. It's not nice to meet you." She could feel her temper beginning to bubble, to hell with being nice. "You're the guy who hit Ra, for no reason, and you walk up as if nothing happened?" Sure it hadn't just happened yesterday but it wasn't as if they were friends, were they? "I have no desire to speak to you, and I'm sure Ra doesn't either, so I think it would be best if you left, now...right Ra?" She looked to Ra, awaiting confirmation, but for some reason she didn't get the feeling like it was going to come anytime soon...

Kayne gave Ra his classic 'I was joking' look when he had yet again taken him seriously. Then he turned his attention back to Chii as Ra introduced them. She looked severly pissed off for having her lip lock interrupted.
"It's nice to meet you as well," he replied, shaking her hand gently and giving her his lopsided grin. Then suddenly her expression changed altogether. She shot up to her feet and shot Ra a confused and angry look. Well... so much for good impressions, he thought wryly to himself, rocking back on his heels to land comfortably on his butt, keeping his legs tucked up to his chest. Calmly he looked up at her as she started to get angry with him and forced himself not to smile. He had learned long ago that girls didn't appreciate it when they thought you were mocking them.
"I'll have you know, I hit him for a darn good reason," he replied, glancing over at Ra, then back up at her. "He should have kept his big nose out of my and Sorakai's fight," he grinned at Ra. "And are you so sure Ra doesn't want to speak to me?" His silver eyes returned to her to see an uncertainty cross her face.

As soon as Chii flashed him the look he realised that the evening was about to take a rather big plummet off a cliff. As much as he knew this moment was coming, why o why did it have to be on that day, on that perfect evening. "Woah!" Ra cried once both of them had their say. "Kayne, presonally I don't think it's very funny to joke about that. You know as well as I do that 'sticking your nose into other people's business' does not warrent being punched in the face. The only thing I could ever do to ask for that kind of reaction is to punch you first. I was sticking up for my friend, who you insulted. You should have seen yourself. I think anybody would have done what I did." It wasn't that he wanted to start the argument again with Kayne, just that he was fed up of him acting as though Ra himself was the one who was in the wrong.
"And Chii, we had detention together the other day and I decided that it was better to forgive and make up then it was to hold a grudge." He sighed sitting back down and crossing his legs. "There's no point in fighting, it doesn't solve anything." He looked up at Kayne and gave him a half grin. "To be honest Kayne, that wasn't really a good moment to decide to have a conversation with me. Though I would like to get this all ironed out again before telling you to go and find some other couple to pester."

Chii nodded emphatically at Ra's words, she couldn't have agreed more. "Exactly, what kind of person punches someone who's sticking up for their friend?"
But hearning Ra's final words, she didn't know what to do. He'd made up with a person who had punched him for no good reason? Sure she understood compassion, and being the bigger man, but it was obvious from Kayne's comment that he still thought Ra was in the wrong, and that conveyed to her that they were far from being reconciled.
She was so confused, she didn't know whether to be mad or cry. "But Ra, it's obvious that your reconciliation was in vain. Didn't you hear him? He still thinks you were in the wrong..." Perhaps it was useless to talk to this Kayne fellow, maybe he just didn't get it. But for some reason Chii was really in the mood to argue. "How can you be friends with someone who can't recognize the honour in standing up for one's friends? If the tables had been turned he would have just let you get pummeled without a care, all because he didn't want to 'stick his nose in someone else's business'." She turned back towards Kayne a thoroughly irritated look on her face.

Kayne struggled not to laugh at the two. They were so made for each other. Finally he couldn't hold it in any longer and actually started to laugh a bit, giving his head a small shake.
"Honestly you two. Kusani... you mean to tell me you still can't tell when I'm pulling your leg? I wasn't being serious you know. Sure if you hadn't piped up at that particular moment, you might have made it out of there with your face still in tact, but I told you before... it was a good thing you stepped in when you did," he said looking directly at Ra. He then turned his silver eyes up to Chii.
"And I apologized honestly to him for it. Would you like for me to apologize to you too? For messing up your boy's face? Though if you ask me I think it was an improvement," he said with a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. "And uh... I'd appreciate it if you wouldn't talk about me like I'm not here, 'cause I am."

Ra looked from Kayne to Chii and felt completely stupid. Kayne used a whole new level of sarcasm and to Ra it was difficult to tell if her was being serious of joking. "Uh, o.k now I feel stupid." He said once more looking between Kayne and Chii. "He's right Chii." Ra said placing a hand gently on her shoulder. "He apologised properly and honestly. Montecelli sensei is helping us sort stuff out." He added. He sincerely hoped Chii wouldn't stay too angry. He really wanted them to get along.
"Kayne." He began wincing at the guys sarcasm towards Chii. "Would you mind toning the sarcasm a bit. It's been a good evening. I don't want it ruined with an argument."
