The mages of the group. They are known for not really being Kindred, but however stealing immortalty. I don't know much on them personally, but they are the ones who can follow any path of any sort, and yeah.. that's about it really.
Oh and they can do rituals and make fetishes and all that.

******** Tremere, I hate these sons of Bitches, probably because of my affinity towards Salubri, Gangrel, and Tzimesce, three clans which the Tremere have wronged.

I'm not losing any sleep over the Tzimesce, but the Gangrel and the Salubri? What the ******** did they ever do to you all? Goddamn D+D nerds, the entire lot of them. If they want to spend the rest of eternity blood bound to a bunch of old Euro ********, then that's fine with me. But leave me the ******** out of it and don't ever think I'm your slave. That would be the last mistake you'll ever make.

I understand that many people hate the Tremere based on how the clan progenitor, Tremere himself, Butchered and diablerized Saulot, the Salubri Antideluvian. However, if Saulot had never sired Baal, whom most of us know as the progenitor of the Baali bloodline, and as they traffic with demons and that ilk, you have no right to say who is right and wrong. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't it the Brujah that were the philosopher kings of old, and destoyed it all in one fatal moment?

However, if Saulot had never sired Baal, whom most of us know as the progenitor of the Baali bloodline, and as they traffic with demons and that ilk, you have no right to say who is right and wrong. Indeed we Brujah were the philosopher kings... but that was long ago and my bloodline is afflicted with the curse of blind rage now. From what I've heard Saulot was a pretty good guy. Tremere had no reason to kill him. Basically the only reason I see why the Tremere cling so tightly to one another and their prejudices is because they are afraid. Afraid of someone overthrowing them, or finding them out to be what they truly are. Just a bunch of old hacks with a couple of magic tricks.

Yes, and isn't that true of all of the clans, those wretched Sabbat included. Honestly, if you think we're the only bad ones, I have an idea: go sit with a Ventrue or Lasombra for a while and chat. I'm sure they could find a way to help slit your own throat.

I told you when we were discussing this that Baal was not a childe of Saulot. The first childe of Saulot was a man named Shaitan. And he was not the leader of Baali until after the destruction of Enoch. And he didn't exactly sire the entire bloodline of the Baali, Saulot had multiple childer who aided in that area.

Not to mention these Antitribu have lost sight of the true goal, salvation for all kindred.

OK, I have taken your points to heart. But then what of the Baali, Don't either of you find that the least bit disturbing? Vampires trafficking with Demons? How utterly barbaric.
Oh, and I should point I hate Tremere with an utter passion only over shadowed by my hatred of authority. I only play as them to play with Thaumaturgy. Hell, I can get the other disciplines any time, but Tremere are way to secretive. We should change that. biggrin

Well, I was hanging out with Pete yesterday, and he told one of the numerous reasons he hates the Tremere (other than the fact that they are usurpers and that they are just rat bastards, in general), is that Thaumaturgy has too many paths and it can get rather confusing. I can agree with him on that. But the difference is I get the paths. What I don't understand is the rituals and the systems for them. To me, they make no sense.
