What have you bought recently? I picked up Boredoms' Chocolate Synthesizer ( blaugh ) and Acidman's Loop albums on eBay, found a copy of THE MAD CAPSULE MARKET'S Crash Pow EP (limited edition promo) at a used CD store and bought a Cornelius CD/DVD set at Borders. The CD was a bunch of mediocre remixes and I haven't seen the DVD yet. I even forgot the name and I'm too lazy to stand up and check. Point Five, something like that.

I just got Pizzicato Five's International Playboy/Playgirl on half.com (ithe total came to less than $4 shipping included). I also have Boredoms, Cornelius, and another Pizzicato mini-album.

Oh yeah, I also got two Going Steady singles that should be arriving in my student mailbox later this week. $9 for both of them I think.

Haha, thanks. I've heard enough I Love Lucy references to last me a lifetime. I hate the english version though. d**k stressed
Bleh, I caved in and bought the Franz Ferdinand and Modest Mouse albums (self-titled and Good News whatever) ... I'm weak.

Hehe, at least your name is nice and pronounce-able. Usually Filipino names are Spanish.. like Reyes or something.
I like my name, too, it's just no one else can really say it.

It's what I've done to kill time. Tommorow orientation week officialy starts though so I'll have things to do. I think I bought the Modest Mouse CD because of the cinephiles thread and there was an advertisement saying that I would get some free pins. They were all out though. crying Oh, I read about them in a magazine on the airplane too.
I used to have a Filipino friend and his last name was Maniti.

Damnit, my friend told me which Modest Mouse albums to get b/c he says they sold out. I think their music is in commercials and stuff. Not that it really matters to me, I just want to hear good music.

I really like this new one. It doesn't sound very... uh... poppish I guess so I dunno about the selling out thing. The vocalist is annoying at times though. I should get some of their early, pre-sellout stuff. blaugh

For Muse I recommend their albums in this order, from best to worst. Origin of Symmetry -> Absolution -> Showbiz.
The Acidman album on eBay was a nice find. Only $9 I think, shipping included.
