Okay. Is everyone here Strickly Table top with the fighting, or would you guys be willing to freelance RP and fight. (( Of course with Set rules, blah blah blah. )) I only ask because Yes I am more intrested in the role play portion. Only because it is no fun without using my pretty dice. x.X

Only because it is no fun without using my pretty dice. x.X I'd like to rp and fight, I've never really done D&D online like this before, it's worth a try. I'd probably be good at rping though, I'm a literate rper and have been so for about a year and half. the dice and stats give it some good balance, also they further shape your characters, giving them depth and detail 3nodding So, I'd probably want to go tabletop, but without a grid, it seems hard. Is a mixture of the two possible?

I like RP'ing in the forums, usually avoiding fights. I get enough fighting in my campaign ^o^

It would be less mess. It is hard to play DnD on gaia. I know I have tried. o.o' I will work out some rules to where the dice still play in however It may take me a while.

I think there would need to be some structure...like, things deciding what hits and whatnot. I don't know, I've never really RPed in forums, but I like my dice rolling. Even though it usually causes me to miss...I have a halfling rogue with a shortbow that can only ever seem to hit Orcs. But he drops them in one hit every time.

No I ment we would still roll dice, yet only for fighting. Say we were trying to climb a rope, we could just do it, yet to interact with another character THEN we would need to roll the dice. I just think it may be less confusing online.

We could always play in IRC, I have a DnD bot and ive played there before.

Thats what I was thinking it was going to be the whole time =x, RPing is more fun in real time rather then post to post, for me it is anyways.

there's also a program I was just introduced to called openRPG. I umm..don't know how to use it though. But what my friend told me of it it sounds really good.

I like to play RPGs... and while I do enjoy role playing my characters, it seems pointless without a game system to control it. If you take the G off, and just want to RP, I wouldn't be interested.
