Yes, because we need one.
This is the little forum for everyone to come in and say hello for the first time, as well as for people to simply chit-chat and laugh about whatever strikes their fancy. You could go on about the Role Plays themselves, talk about Gaia Prices, what happened at school today, or blurt out random words and such, it's all okay here.
Besides, it's better to have it in here than in the midst of our other RPs, right?

Okay, for the Mekryd's intro:
I am Mekryd. Some may know my real name, but don't throw it about. 3nodding It might strike jealousy into the hearts of those who are not intimately in touch with my might. 4laugh
I like roleplaying (obviously) and have grown ever so disillusioned over the year and few months I've come to Gaia. My roots are from a slightly more elitist site, but in terms of writing well, not in becoming the 'absolute best' in a fight- something that's bothered me in the FFA RPs. Barton just found whole new levels to freak me out with.
I'm asian, and reasonably proud (behold my strange metabolism), and would either like to go into electrical engineering, or writing. Yes, I'm very aware of how different those things are. Young-ish junior in high school (fear the sentence fragments).

I'm simply Moonie, since Scarletdarkmoon is just to long to say. My real name will remain a mystery but it orginates from Charlies Angels. XD
I am a half breed. And your darn right I am proud of that fact. Now I can blend in anywhere and not be noticed. XD
But I claim all my roots as pacific islander asian girl.
An all about water baby. Yes! I can surf, I can booby board. I can scuba dive. Snorkle. If it has to do with water. I can prob. swim like a mermaid if i wanted but face it. I am not going about in any public water naked.
What else? I love to cook? Heh, you can say I was forced to learn to cook at a young age. My parents should be cooking for me, not the other way around. Personally I think it's lazyness, not the fact that my cooking is good. And it is good. But that's not the point here.
I write. I read. >.>;; I am what my zodiac sign says I am. Wow. Never noticed that till now. ~~;; I am an emotional freak and can cry at the drop of a hat. Yeah yeah, I'm a fish. The 12th sign in the zodiac.
I guess that's all you need to know for now?
Oh! And I love to get on Mek Meks nerve! Because it's educationally challenging to understand the lingos he goes though as he tries to make his point! rofl

Me? Oh yes, the person who made the thread but not the Guild.
I'm Sunny, but Mekryd calls me Runny because my name used to be Sunruner (purposefully mispelled). I lost that account, and this is my new one.
I like Role Playing, and I like having my characters tie in with either one another or someone else for drama. I'm a drama nut, I love it, but I will do my very best to NEVER EVER EVER make a character which falls under the catagory of Mary-Sue/Gary-Stue, because those characters should die. Instantly. Upon being thought up.
When I'm not RPing I write fanfictions, Play Video Games (Guild Wars, Harvest Moon, Baten Kaitos, Pokemon, Golden Sun...), or am at school wishing I was at home either RPing, Writing, or Playing Video Games.
I'm either going into Computers, Writing, or History, because I heart history, it's so cool.
cool Sunneh ish Middle-eastern/European! No, that doesn't mean I wear the Hijab, speak Arabic, or even know a surprising amount about the history *I blame the school system for liking Egypt and Rome to much* but it gave me dibs on the Runists when Mekmek had trouble! xd

Wooo! Intro thread!
I'm Gypsy, or Nessa (which ever you prefer to call me by) and I've been RPing for six years now; I got started back in high school when a blind date of mine introduced me to Dungeons and Dragons (way back in Second Edition *shudders*) and I've been hooked ever since. Shortly after my introduction to D&D, I began playing on The Keep in real time, chat based RPs. I still do this, simply with another site, and I've also begun to to RP on forums.
I've played primarily fantasy, but I'll try anything once. I've done and enjoyed a historical-fiction RP, and I'm currently trying to get my own forum RP off the ground with a couple of friends; slow going, but I'm sure once we get some users things will pick up.
In the four years I've been at univerity, I've been not only one of the founding members of our RPG society (Imagine X), but a part of the elected executive team and responcible for taking it from a small group of gamers to one of the largest societies on campus (50+ members this year alone!) and we're now officially recognized by the university itself. Not bad for a bunch of gamers, ne? wink

Hello, all! ^_^
So, introduction. . . Well, I go by Ayeali, or whatever nicknames I've received. I began on Gaia as a lurker, but over the years, came out of my shell and actually -talked- to people. (Imagine that! xd )
I rarely RP, (too picky, too little time), but nothing in the world could keep me from writing and trying to improve my skills. I'm here to do just that, and have fun. (Plus, the Mekryd is awesome, but needs a poke in the tummy, Pillsbury-dough-boy style, when he gets to saying that about himself. ^_~) My goal in an RP is to create something that I would enjoy reading again. Guess you could call me serious. . . *reconsiders own tendency for wacky behavior* Only not. *sweatdrops*
Currently in school, watching my time and money disappear, while trying to figure out what the heck I'm doing there. Congrats to Gypsy on almost being out! wink
One other thing to know: I heart Wind! and will maim anyone who says Fire is their favorite element simply "becaus its pritty." (Well, maim, or 'persuade' said person to reassess such reasoning.)

Ah, yeah. There was the CRAFTI Movement. I forgot to mention that. It's actually what kept me in Gaia, finding the Elements thread. Check out the odds on that. Finding a thread, coming in just before the creation of a guild. Seems like a lot of improbable internet events have me here. sweatdrop
