do you beleive in healing powers??? my mom taught me how to use reiki... it is a healing thingy that uses chakras.... i healed someone today... wow

I do beleive in That. I m Quite a Spiritual Person... do not confuse with religious, and beleive alot in that kind of stuff.

I do beleive in the energies and auras that all things, at least living things, have. And I sure do think that you can use them to heal, definitely.
And I also believe in prayer.
Last night at around 2 in the morning (yeah, I was awake) my cat/kitten(is 11 months considered a kitten?) swallowed a sewing needle. I prayed and I prayed and prayed soo long as I was laying in bed that she'd be okay so we could take her to the vet in the morning. And she was. She just got out of surgery a while ago. 3nodding turns out my mother was praying too, and my father... I'm not all that religious, meaning I don't go to church or read the bible or anything special. But I pray, and I think it's definitely helped me. My cat surviving all of that is not just luck or coincidence.

Most certainly, but maybe not the ones mentioned, since I haven't heard of them. xp
Prayer, definately. And healing of the spirit, that too. Healing of the body? ...Well I beleive you can heal physical injuries with both mind and spirit, but I'm not sure how that goes. ^-^
I don't exactly go for traditional, if, supposedly, magicky stuff, much, unless I know it's realistic. It's like, I'm not really superstitious, but I wouldn't jump to deny the existence of ghosts and such. Most people I know are like that, actually. *stirs the lukewarm pot* =/
I used to get sick every year from asthma, then one year I decided I didn't want to get sick anymore. I haven't been since. Of course, that could mean anything, but then I get wierd coincidences like that often, so that either makes me suspicious, or I'm just plain paranoid. xd

I have an idea, for those religious people, maybe they could post something here that they would like people to pray about, and everyone who wanted to, could pray for them? I dunno if it's appropriate, and I wouldn't mean to ruin the discussion xd but it's an idea...^-^

Thanks, I'm glad she's okay too.
Aww, that is a good idea I think. Heh, my father is being sent to Iraq, even though he was supposed to retire from the navy in January. He leaves for his training this week. He'll be gone for over a year and a half o_o; it really sucks. His safety is definitely something I'd want people to help me pray for. But I dunno how many people in this guild are religious, or even if it could offend anyone.
