I would like to mention that this was my mom's idea. She thoroughly enjoys putting bunny ears, reindeer...horns?, and hats on animals. They are quite cooperative. Maybe it's because they know they have no choice...MUAHAHAHA! pirate sweatdrop redface

I can't believe how big Laika is getting... She seems to be taking the ears all in stride, but poor Chance is giving the "why-do-you-do-this-to-me" face. xD

Wow, Laika's gotten absolutely huge. She's really gorgeous, now that she's growing up.
The last time we tried to do something like this with one of my dogs (for a Christmas photo), they promptly removed the antlers, ran off, and shredded them. Not conducive to trying again.

Yea, Chance doens't like the ears at all, but he leaves them on. Laika leave sthem on for a while, and then decides she's done, and swipes them off. Chance does look rather old, doesn't he? hahaha. I would like to mention, he is not as mistreated as he poses to be biggrin .
Thanks to both of you for your comments.
Savage, Chance does look rather pathetic, doesn't he? Laika just keeps growing. She is 9 months now, and you should see people's reactions to her when I say "She is just a puppy".
Sola, thank you. I find it hard believing there is another dog in this world as beautiful as her xd .

Thank you Pistil! biggrin My dogs have been suffering since they were young ones, you see? They think this treatment is "normal".

Very cute. My dog hates things on his head, like hats and headbands.
Wow. Laika is only 9 months old! She's huge. I hope she'll stop growing soon or you'll have a giant of a fog on your hands.

As far as I know, pitties usually don't stop growing (height) until a year, and continue to fill out until about 3 years. I have a feeling I'm going to have a monster on my hands xd . Good thing she is a loveable one heart .

Good thing she is a loveable one heart . Wow, she's already pretty thick-looking to my eyes. She's going to be a huge chunk of muscle when she finishes putting it on. How much does she weigh now, by the way? She really seems to be taking after her dad. Are you going to start weight pull with her when she's old enough? It sounds like she'd be really good with it.

I am not sure how much she weighs now sad . I use to pick her up and go onto the regular scale with her, then go on by myself and figure it out. As of now, I am pregnant, and I am not really suppose to pick things up that are over 30 pounds, which I know she is. She is going to the vet on the first of next month, to get bloodwork done, so we will find out then, and I will let you know. I do know she is over 40 pounds, though. Last time I weighed her she was about 42, and that was about a month and a half ago smile .
She really is taking after her dad, as opposed to her mom, as far as weight and temperament go. Now, my sister has a new litter, and the pups are now 5 weeks. They are about 5 pounds each. These little (haha!) buggers are really going to be huge. They will make Laika look miniature. One actually didn't even make it because it was too big and he got stuck in the birth canal. I will see if I can get some pictures of the pups. There is one that was the same "blonde" color as Laika was when she was younger. She is such a doll baby heart .
EDIT- I was really thinking about getting her into weight pull. APTB's are really quite successful if the sport. I do have to wait until she is a year old until I start training, though. You can't start them out too soon, of course.
