Smartparts is comming out with a lower end marker to compete with Spyder. Its plastic, upgradeable, has vision, and can shot about 15bps. Its supposed to retail at arround $250-300.

Tippmann is finially comming out with an electronic tourny gun. Its supposed to be a fast version of the 98 with vision.

Spyder released its new hinge trigger. The the trigger attataches to the frame in the middle insted of the top. It also has two contacts, one on the top and the other on the bottom. Its supposed to make the marker much faster.

I just seen a new set of triggers with magnetic bearrings. I forgot who makes them but its a third party. There is almost no friction when you pull the trigger and they should give you an extra 1 or 2 bps. You can get them for Angel, Matrix, Nerve, Shocker, and a few others.

Two leagues are now allowing 3 balls fired for every one trigger pull, so expect to see a slew of new boards.

Impulse will be getting a new board by summer.

The Ion is mostely using Impulse parts, and nearly all of the machines at Smart Parts are being used for the Ion at this moment. So, if you have an Impulse and need parts for it, you're out of luck untill the Ion hits the stores.

Well here is some more info on Dye's New DMC (Dye Matrix Composite)...

As you first see on the new DMC is the new look of the body..They just didn't make it look pretty, they made it lighter..They have used a fusion of metals to achieve the lightness of it..The wieght of it is competing with Shockers and others even more.

This marker was also designed for XBall..With the new rubber grips above the reg, you can weild and control it to the max..

I got to hold this thing at Orlando Open and boy was it sweet.
The griping does work awesome..And some say it looks crappy but up in person it looks very nice..

As you also may see it has Dye's new style of feedneck on there..Allowing your hopper to be gripped tightly, yet beable to be removed with a simple pull..

I'm sure I've missed some but you get some of the important stuff...

And of yeah it will retail for about $1700

Here is a pic.

There is some major programming issues with the Ion's board, so the first shippment has been recalled, and the second will be delaied until the problem is fixed.

The Ion has finally been fixed and should be back in stores by now.

Tippmann just released a new flatline barrel for the A-5. It is a solid one-piece design that is supposed to eleminate many problems of the prievous flatline. It is also supposed to be much easier to install and align, and it will allow you to shoot much faster than the last model.

To add on to Tippmann they have made a Cyclone Feed System that fits the 98 Custom Marker...I'm not to sure what price is and such...

Those of you who remember chatting with me about barrels know that i hate the flatline, however I got my hands on the revamped one for the A-5 and it is the best barrel that I hav ever owned. I like it better than my freak, wich I thought was the best barrel made for a long time.

You can shoot full auto with this flatline and not have any accuracy problems at all. I've shot a few cases through mine and havent broken a single ball or have one go flying wildly off to only god knows where. The flatline coupled with a red dot sight allows me to hit dead on at 50-100 feet consistantly, and you'll still accuratly hit the target up to 250 feet.

This barrel is a sniper's dream and it's excelent for long range supression. With it you can sit back and snipe scouts, then unleash a load of woop-a** on a small group befor thay can get close enough to touch you.

In my openion, the new flatline for the A-5 is a perfect 10.

Another thing is that they are bored out a little more. And yes they are f***'n sweat guns.
