Roy's gaze narrowed into a glower as he listened to her taunt, though he didn't mind all too much. He had heard worse several times before. "Name calling is a bit below us wouldn't you say, River?" He said cooly, slipping his hands into his pockets.

River's eye twitched in annoyance. "Fine. i'll talk like an alchemist then." she clapped her hands and moved her hand like she was cracking a whip. water lashed out and Roy was completely soaked. "So is that bellow us?" River smirked and turned to walk away. her head wes held up high and she swayed her hips as she started to walk. however River forgot one little thing........ she didn't get Roy's gloves wet. sad

(That was kind of like Godmodding right there you know? o.O But I'll let it slide this once...)
Roy had barely time to blink when he found himself doused from the waist up in water. He shook his head, shaking off the excess water that clung to his face and hair, "That was cheap." he muttered under his breath, withdrawing his left hand from his pocket, "Let this be a lesson to you, River," he said, holding out his arm before him, tensing his fingers as he prepared for his attack, "never turn your back on an enemy!" His fingers snapped and the blood red array lit up to a bright crimson color as sparks flashed from his fingertips, barely half a second had passed when that spark turned into a raging stream of flames heading straight towards her.

River heard the flame coming and dived to the ground. "HIT THE DECK!!!!!!!" she nearly screamed. it didn't work. she felt the stining of the burns and she jumped up to look at her hands. "Ow!" she clapped her hands lightly and let the water rush over them. the wounds healed and she clapped her hands and creating another water whip. cracking it she turned in anger. "That's it!" she said as she whipped it towrds Roy.

Roy smirked and simply snapped his fingers again. As his array lit up once more, he quickly began rearranging the air molecules, constructing a clear path of hydrogen atoms, an invisible trail for the sparks to follow and meet the stream head on in a small scale explosion, evaporating the whip in the combustion. "You'll have to come up with something better if you have any hopes of winning this match, River." Roy said, calm as ever. He wasn't going to be hasty this match, not yet anyway. Show me what you're capable of.

(ah..fun interesting fight there..I'm going to rp as myself in this..)
Anna was leaning against the wall closet to the door as she watched the fight between the two. She had wanted to watch before she took any part of a battle. She yawned slightly, "Oh..That was a close one..." she said as the flames the Colonel had made almost consume River, it was almost nearly impossible to dodge that, and River had been lucky to get away with a few small burns on her hands.
"Now all I need is a bowl of popcorn and I would be set," Anna said to herself.
