Leamington Spa Lifeboat Museum - Gather round, my friends! Now, what is wrong with this nice little DW tie-in website?
Could these very deliberate mistakes lead to a big spoiler, or was someone just having a larf?
1. Why would Leamington Spa, a town in the centre of the UK, near Birmingham, away from any moderately large body of water, need a lifeboat service?
2. Take a look at the first crew. Note that Albert Symonds appears to be from a completely different era from the other two, with his inflatable life jacket, whereas the others have old-stylie cork vests.
3. They all drowned saving two nuns and a priest. Now, come on! That has to be a joke!
4. In 88 years, the 'brave' lifeboat crew saved the amazing number of twelve people. And this is with
two lifeboats. They must get pretty big puddles in Leamington Spa.
5. Sir Lancelot?
6. The 1930s crew was killed by a mad wolf. Go figure. (Yes, Queen Vic wasn't alive then, but still... The 'mad wolves' must be an ongoing problem.)
I don't really want to get started on
Millingdales Ice Cream, but the flavours seem to be little references to various episodes. God help us when we get to
Peas, Peas, Peas...
