SPOILERS ARE LIKELY TO BE IN THIS POST. You have been warned smile
I like the look of the second episode even better. Bonny Scotland, here we come!
Very nice, a couple of laugh out-loud moments (specifically "Oh my god, I'm a chav!" and "Still got it!"). Not sure I'm buying all the things that happened, but heck, it's a sci-fi show - if I can accept the TARDIS, I can accept intravenous medicine being mixed and matched and causing no side-effects smile
Now all I need to do is hunt down every BBC 1 continuity announcer and destroy their microphones. That was the middle eight you were waffling over, infidel!

They left Earth at last! Yay!!!
Not like you would have noticed though!!! Booo -.-
Honestly, zombies rehashed from The Unquiet Dead (sorry, a 'wonderful new lifeform' whose chief talents seem to lie in moaning gibberish and chasing people very slowly up lift shafts <.<) Cassandra rehashed from The End of the World (they even got the tramploine line back in!) And patented Russel T Davies brand continuity twaddle rehashed from too many darn episodes in the first season evil
Overall, it just seemed a little restrained considering what we're used to. I know they say start small and work up...but really, when you're plugging it with the tagline further than we've ever gone before you damn well better come up with the goods at the end of the day o.O
So yeah, not really my favourite Doctor Who romp of all time xD

I thought New Earth was brilliant, and knocked the spots off Rose as a season opener. The 10th has much more energy than what I've seen of the others - I can't imagine the 9th jumping down a lift shaft like that. Gosh. He's much more... Sinister....
I liked it!

I really had to laugh at the look on the Doctor's face after the kiss, like he had the best kiss of his lives... probably was too lol

Jettrick They left Earth at last! Yay!!! Not like you would have noticed though!!! Booo -.- They left Earth, and ended up in... New Earth. Not having seen the story yet, I take it it's less like a strange new world, and more like a comfy replica of the old one. whee Jettrick And patented Russel T Davies brand continuity twaddle rehashed from too many darn episodes in the first season evil I don't mind liberal sprinklings of continuity. Just as long as we're not still dealing with any more of that Bad Wolf nonsense this season...

No, to be fair it was really nice to see Cassy dear back...even if Zoe Wannamaker got comparatively few 'lines'.
Anyone else think the doctor wasn't exactly representing himself at his best for any first time viewers who have joined in the fun a little late?
I seriously feel he gets far too angry these days. There's eccentric, and then there's lunatic. That's what happens when eccentric people get shouty o.o
And I mentioned this in my other thread...I'm not picky I'm just HIGHLY INTOLERANT TO CHANGE, okay? ^.^ Super =D

biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin THAT WAS FATASTIC!!!!
I loved it. Ok you can pick at it quite a lot, but that doesn't matter - you can pick at any thing, nothing's perfect.
The storyline was hilarious yet also brutal - prefect!
and the confidental was so funny too. (plus it showed somewher i'd been)
Cassandra was the best bit!!! "Oh my god - I'm a chav!" "Oh chavtastic" "Move out of the way blonde" "I know I'm going to regret this" "What this thing?" "There's no need to shout" "I'm a man!" "I'm beating like a samba!" "It's like being inside a bouncy castle"
