Feedback & Suggestions

Announcment:
When there is an event I post a reminder of the Event here and members willing to host the Tea party for the event will give their Say-so's here and I'll pick out the most willing and helpful to create the offical Lolita Entourage tea party for the event.

As you all should know, this guild is still rapidly growing. And so to make it better, we are looking towards you. What we would like to know is how you like it and what you would like to see changed or added.

Have any ideas for a contest of any sort? Post it here.
You can also recommand people here so we can invite them into the guild.

All I ask is that you do not spam. Complimenting other peoples' ideas is allowed and such. We are looking for a greater future for you within this guild. So, please, give us your feedback so we can make it better and hopefully more active.


Ideas currently in progress:

-Lolita writing contest.
-Lolita website based on the guild.
-Lolita web magazine and mailing list.


*Let us know if you like or dislike any of these ideas. Also, if you'd like, you can add to these ideas.

Um... i can't come up with any really cool ideas right now... My brain is shot from finals week.... >.< (I just finished this term though, Yay!!)

anyway... I was thinking it might be cool to make some guild tshirt graphics that could be downloaded and printed on iron-on tshirt transfer paper. I make lots of shirts that way, and it works fairly well.

I guess they'd be for when you can't be dressing loli. You could still...be "representin' " ^_^

Maybe like some of the art from the front page, with "Loli Dollies Vanilla Entourage" underneath it? I don't know....

I can't wait for the art contest yet I'm not exactly sure what the prize will be. Tonight I'm going to try to update the guild a bit. I've been really busy with graphics/webdesigning and such. sweatdrop Poor Darkened Shadow has been doing all the work in the guild. Darkeenya can't participate in the guild much anymore because of her own guild growing so much so I need to recreate the World Wide Lolitas thread. After I fix up the guild and my personal website I will have another website in procress based on this guild, with Lolita information, fun goodies like scans and stuffs. Also in between there I will start making pixels treats for guild tea parties. I've even forgot all about my signature store my my.... I have a lot to do. I'm always open to suggestions so don't be afraid to post here or pm me. xp

Seems pretty good to me, but I haven't been here enough to say, really. I've been having some cache issues and so I have to do a hard reload each time I go to a forum. sweatdrop

Also, I read a little bit, I think, about the tea party things during events -- what if you or DS would create a thread when each event is introduced, organizing the official LDVE tea party thread? We could have a standard title that we use for all the events, and have a certain time that it starts up [have someone volunteer maybe for when the event starts] and then have people trade off watching it and keeping it active throughout the event -- like have shifts, I guess. For example:

Midnight-3am - one person
2am-4am - someone else
3am-6am - another person
5am-7am - and another
6am-9am - yet another
etc etc. so that there's never NOT someone paying attention to it/keeping it alive and so that there's cushioning between people so if someone needs to leave early, someone else should be there soon enough -- and so that they have people to talk to if nothing's happening XD; of course, people could take multiple shifts, but you know. Just so that it's not one person staying and trying to keep it alive while people go on and off during the event. You could link the thread in a thread here -- but if you do, you probably shouldn't make it a sticky and reuse it, because then any new discussion is pushed down several pages and it becomes a pain to find out where, precisely, the new discussion is going on. Just make a temporary sticky or somesuch, and make a new thread for each new event.

we wouldn't want to make it a "vanilla entourage members only" tea part thread though, right? I've seen other guilds that try to make exclusive threads at events, but that seems like it would discourage new members from joining...

We will figure it all out once we are close to another event. It won't just be our Lolita guild members but it would be base for our guild if we decide to discuss it. Also a place to recruit and just to hang out.
