You probably hadn't noticed, but I've been away the last week. I was on holiday in Northumberland with Thar and his family.
We visited a castle, went on a boat trip to Puffin Island (it was freezing cold), and I went to the beach almost every day. Thar and I found a dead seal on the beach one of the days. We were walking along and I said "Hey look at that thing that looks like a rib cage. Hang on...that is a rib cage". It was gross.

The canadian seal clubbing started at the beginning of the month, I think.
"Sir Paul McCartney" and others are protesting.
They club and machette thousands of seals (lots of babys) on the ice.
It's horrific - and I don't say stuff like that. But a bunch of pulverized, decapitated seals on a red streaked iceberg is too much for me.
I beleive 30 some thousand seals are expected to die.
