kashosonic22 For magic, your deck should revolve around a type that can help itself (E.G. Slivers, Zombies) or a specific ability. I've run a sac modular creatures to a rust elemental then skeleton shard them back to your hand for next turn. My favorite was my white vigilence deck. Now I run an Ultimate Defense combo. Red/White, a few reds that can burn and a few reds that can block all creatures, then Sandswim (White) which allows a creature to not deal nor recieve combat damage. To beat slivers a cheap thing to do is use Damping Matrix, it turns them into useless 1/1, 3/3's and the like. This was in a topic not to long ago at the table top threads. I want you to mostly look at the bottum of this post. Damping matrix can not beat slivers... Can not. Most Sliver abilities are mana activated which still means the Sliver Queen Combo works. And stil lShifting Sliver... or winged sliver.. your a** is still grass. Slivers were made to be the ultiamte creatures in the game. I don't beleive they can be stopped once the combo starts going.

Well ms. Kiyo, i've one thing to say about Slivers and that is "Steely Resolve" blaugh domokun Slivers are not the best, they are stoppable, everything is, just some things are more difficult then others. The guy who wrote that obviously has no clue what he is talking about. Sure they have an advantage, but other things can be made to have an advantage as well. 3nodding but hey I'm not say that I hate the things, they are fun to use but not to face. xp

IMHO Slivers suck worse that any creature type in magic.
But then again, most Sliver decks suck because newbies keep trying to make them work and really screw up badly. It takes a special deck builder to make a good sliver deck, and thusly make slivers good.
5 color sliver decks are usually slow unless someone figures out how to make them able to standup for themselves.

True, three colors should be enough for a sliver deck.

I just use a majority green Recycle/Alluren Deck with Slivers. It's a wonder how it was almost unbeatable against my friends in MI and sucks here in IL. Of course here in IL I have to compete with a Protour material player stare

I'd stick with Wrath for more of a statement...
EDIT: Nah, make that Final Judgement.

White too, has answers to the sliver problem. Spells such as WoG, Final Judgment and the likes get rid of mass slivers with ease, as well as the Extinction, Tsabo's Decree, and Engineered Plague. I would also reccomend Spreading Plague and Wash Out. Another card I reccomend is stuff like Evacuation. Essentially, anything that wipes creatures en masse is the best answer to Slivers, and the best thing is that Red, Black, White, and Blue have the best answers to slivers. Hurricane and Tornado Elemental will deal with slivers if the opponent drops a Winged Sliver. In the end, Slivers are creatures, and **ALL** creatures are the most vulnerable of the permanents in play.
