This thread is reserved for Neith-Kia to RP with, and maintain a diary for, her Silva Regia Fey, Filix. Thank you to Anya! for her permission to use her diary concept. DO NOT POST HERE UNLESS YOU ARE SPECIFICALLY INVITED TO BY NEITH-KIA! Violators will be reported to a moderator. Background: The daughter of Count Folium and Countess Florere, Filix has a younger sister as well, Rosa. She was been appointed as a handmaid to Queen Lilium, in whose service she would be trained to take her place as a countess of the Sun Court. Filix was the 7th Fey freed from the curse. She transformed into a beautiful teenager of around 17 human years in appearance. And finally into a woman of about 25 human years. She has grown into someone well balanced between her role as a Countess, and her secret desires to be a knight. Personality: As a child, Filix appeared to be about 5 years old and was outgoing and bright. She loved animals and the outdoors and was somewhat tomboyish, preferring to play rough and tumble in the dirt than have prim and proper tea parties. As a teenager, she became the opposite of her sibling, more focused on enjoying and experiencing the external world rather than self involved and dwelling on herself. She would much rather be wielding a sword than wearing courtly dresses and waiting on the future Queen, but her duty to uphold the family titles is important to her. She'll just have to enjoy fighting and fun covertly. She is protective of her younger sister, but she is also frustrated by her focus on external beauty. As an adult, Filix has assumed her role as a Countess of the court, but seeks a way to also serve her Kingdom as a Knight, even if it has to be secretly.

Blonde with it often tied back in braids, feathered wings on head, grey-blue eyes, blue forehead jewel that's currently very dull looking (Shifts to other colors from time to time), 5.6"
Family:
Filix is 25 years old now, and in this world, the most important thing.
Then there's Kia. She's around 15-16, although she doesn't know so much about adult things...(Or so Neith assumes. xd ) She knows Filix, from meeting her in Gaia occasionally.
After her, age wise, are the twins. They are toddlers now, with little grey dragon tails and grey headwings. Both are identical. Winny's demanding, Elle's quieter.
Likes:
Kochi, the other mother of the twins. (Of course) The moon, stars, her adopted daughters. The angelic sash that was a gift, as well as her angelic pendant... Sunrise, and sunset.

Neith met, and Filix re-met the king, Rosa, and Alces.

Filix attempted her first diary entry... some pieces of paper that were so much covered in paint, that they fell to pieces when moved. Both are currently painted to Filix's old table. Still.
June 15th.
Another meeting with Rosa, Ahnna, Sajhiri and Cervus.
June 25th.
Rosa becomes a teen in front of Filix.
April 10th.
Neith becomes pregnant.
July 5th.
Alces comes over with a gift for Filix.

Witnessed another fey, Aesculus, freed.

-Friends- Countess Rosa.Rosa's private chambers.Well, how could I not put my own sister here? She'd probably love that she has the very first, and largest portrait. But this is my sister. Sadly obsessed with beauty above all else, loves herself more than anything... apart from other beautiful things. And yes, she is very beautiful. And for all her wrong ideals in what is beautiful, I still love her... no other little sister would be as good.

Equus and I have been friends ever since that time in the stables, and I always am glad to see him. She's not left it alone since, much to Neith's amusement, sleeps with it under the mattress where she can protect it, and has it well hidden in her chambers at all times.  This was a present from Pappila, and Filix has not taken it off since she got it. She isn't normally fond of jewelry or things to pretty herself up, rebelling against the idea even more so with Rosa's way of thinking, but this is an exception for Filix. She keeps it as clean as possible, and gladly leaves it on when going outside.

-Filix's Pets banner- He's strong, and very spirited. But I adore him. I actually carried the fish tank and fish for Filix, and now it's sitting in the middle of her chamber. I've invested in a larger tank for them all, but for now, they seem content. This is Fluffy, a present from Equus. She spent a lot of time with him before living with me, so she's just as attached to him.

I am the Kithain of a girl who has been trapped for over 1000 years in a glass window. That sounds unbelievable, now that I see it written down, and to most, Kithain would be a strange word. Generally, it means that I'm a descendent. I had to go through a fairy ring, then follow my feet towards her window. I gave her a part of my soul and life to bring her back, and the sacrifice is worth it.
Her name is Filix. Around 5 years old, from what I can tell. In her land, on the other side of the fairy ring, she is what we'd see as a normal height for a little girl. In Gaia, she is tiny, and I am normal sized. She has been outgoing from the start, and matched with my shyer ways, it seems to mean that we get along well. I adore her. I don't know her very well yet, but she did tell me that Rosa, another child from the same place, is her sister. She loves my pets, absolutely loves them. She and Elena, the kiri, get on great! And even with the slightly wilder attitude, she has great manners. (Made me feel rather embarrassed about my own.) But she really does want to see Rosa again. And I've heard that Rosa is freed, so I'll have to do something about that.
I have to finish this here. However! I'll also include a few things here, and add to them. A record in the start of the journal, that will always be updated. I feel bad for leaving so much unsaid in the very first entry, but I'd like to get to know her before I say too much more. And I think she'll make an entry before too long, even while she is young.

But of course it isn't. I do know that, I just like to daydream.
And Filix's meeting with Rosa was eventful. It was cute, watching the sisters, although I think Rosa is far more concerned with physical beauty than Filix is. They are obviously related, both highly beautiful, and there seems to be things about them that gives them the look of two sisters, not just two beautiful little girls.
Forgive me for the cutting off of this entry, but I am very weary.
For a good reason. I knew that Filix felt slightly tiny and vulnerable around here, so I decided to make a dollhouse. I admit, reading that here does sound a little stupid...
But it's not too bad, really. It's sized for her, so that when she's an adult, it'll be just perfect. The roof can be taken off, section by section, room by room. It is one story, has four rooms around the corners and a middle one for her bathroom which I agreed to fasten a roof over that wasn't removable. She feels more comfortable in her lands, but while she is here, it is a nice idea to give her some things in a size that she'd be used to?
I hate to admit that it's very badly furnished and decorated.
Filix is still happy. She's distracted by it, I gave her paint and she decided she'd paint it herself. We'll see how that goes, eah?

We managed to get back to the castle again, just in time to see Rosa transform! I'm not quite sure how Filix has taken it, but at the time, she seemed pretty jealous that her little sister would be the first to grown. I stood around for a while, while letting Filix speak with the other fey, but from what I've heard, it's a painful process. I took Filix home after a while, and hopefully Rosa will be recovered enough to deal with Filix.
I really, really hope Filix doesn't end up in too much pain. She's told me she isn't afraid, but I think she is secretly. We'll see. The process looked horrible! But Rosa was stunning! I love her hair color. I'll update her photo in the photo album part of the diary very soon.

 Session Plot: Weasley and Equus invite Neith-Kia and Filix into their chamber. Participants: Weasley, Neith-Kia, Equus, Filix. Setting: Equus' chamber. Weasley Weasley hurriedly moved about the noble chamber that Equus called his own. Setting a glass of freshly cut roses on the center table she stood and, placing her hands on her hips, glanced over her work. The brightly lit chamber gleamed happily, the crimson roses mixing well with the room's general silver theme. Satisfied, Weasley quietly made her way over to the large, curtained bed that stood in the corner. She sat down softly beside the sleeping form of Equus. Weasley stroked the glossy dappled tail affectionately before making herself known. Whispering as to not wake up the young boy to suddenly, she soothingly spoke his name. "Equuus..."Seemingly sensing her presence before she spoke, Equus sat up semi-alertly. "Yes?" he tilted his head curiously. As his kithain nodded, he remembered that she'd mentioned someone was coming over. In fact, two someones: Filix and her own kithain. "...Have they been here already - did...did they see me asleep?" he hung his head, the chubby cheeks hot with embarassment.Weasley shook her head. "No, Equus, they haven't arrived yet," she comforted him. "But they should be here soon, how about we finish getting ready?" she grinned warmly at the young Fey, and proceeded to help him prepare for the day. Neith-Kia Neith and Filix wandered in the general direction of Equus's chambers, Filix tugging on a ribbon that Neith had insisted she wear. And perhaps it was a good idea when she was around Rosa, but they were meeting a boy! Who needed ribbons with boys?Filix had told Neith this... quite a few times. But it didn't seem to matter, Neith insisted that Filix wear green ribbons in her pigtails. Neith patted Filix's shoulder, when the reached the door, clutching to the gift of choccys in one hand, and took Filix's hand. "You ready?" "Yes!" Filix nodded, peering around them curiously. Maybe she could take the ribbons out when Neith wasn't looking? If this boy was different to the other one.Neith knocked on the door, then took Filix's hand. Weasley Weasley gave Equus a quick once-over before prancing over to the door. His tail was neatly combed and his silvery hair was tied loosely behind his back. Equus gave a nervous smile and skittered off behind his Kithain, compulsively smoothing his attire. Before the door creaked open he was given a reassuring and rather dumb-looking grin from the overly enthusiastic girl in front of him. She opened the door excitedly and upon seeing who it was squealed a "Helloooooo!" and waved them both in. Equus, on the other hand, was not as openly friendly. He peeked cautiously from behind Weasley's legs. Whisps of shining hair escaped their tie to cover parts of his face. He turned red after sighting the visitors; he hadn't expected them to be so well-dressed...and, well, Filix was wearing ribbons! His insides curled as he felt he should've dressed up more. His thoughts were interrupted however, when Weasley gushed her enthusiastic welcomes. He blinked, turning on his heel and waiting for them to enter, still somewhat behind his human forcefield.Neith-Kia Neith laughed slightly, leading Filix infront of her and followed Weasley in. She glanced around, grinning slightly at the sight of the gorgeous boy... He was so little and cute! She patted Filix on the head, tried to re-arrange the green ribbons in Filix's hair. "Hello! Are we late? I had an... issue..." Filix ducked Neith's hands, and wandered away a tiny bit. She remembered the issue. They were arguing about these ribbons! Filix remembered this boy slightly, and she was sure he didn't care. And she didn't care about ribbons. So Neith shouldn't care. It was all very simple, really. Filix tugged on one, staring up at Weasley and over at Equus. Filix stared at his relaxed attire enviously, wondering if she could escape Neith's eyes and relax a bit too.
Without dangly, silky, Rosa-style ribbons.Weasley Weasley snerked. "That's fiiiine...Equus was, well asleep anyhow," she leaned closer to Neith and whispered a bit. "Although I don't think he'd appreciate me telling you that - very self conscious little guy." Weasley nodded to confirm the statement. She pulled away from Neith and skipped over to the bed. Rolling a small fox-like creature out of the way and settling herself rather ungracefully on the bed, she beckoned for Neith to join her.
Equus stared helplessly near the doorway. He'd been uncovered, and stood like a deer in headlights. He looked towards Weasley who in turn beamed confidently back at him while flashing a quick thumbs-up. Equus grinned sheepishly at Filix as he watched her remove the ribbons. He blinked. Apparantly she was trying to remove them...and wasn't doing a very good job. "Err...need some help?" he questioned, his round cheeks going an even brighter shade of pink.Neith-Kia "Asleep? That's so cute!" Neith grinned, and wandered over towards the bed to sit next to Weasley. She looked around his chambers, noting how different his were to Filix's. But she was a tiny handmaiden now... they probably had different interior designers for ranks. If that was the right word for those who decorated chambers. "Filix is very outgoing." Neith said proudly, looking over at Filix.
Filix nodded, tipping her head at him and tugging more at the ribbon. "They are tied tight... we should go outside, before Neith re-ties them in right though."
Not seeing his red cheeks, she turned to look at him and gestured to him. "Come on! Let's go outside in the sunshine... we can get the ribbons off out there? I like your tail, by the way. Can you move it too?"
Filix remembered that also from long ago... she'd always wondered about tails on others. Weasley "I was teaching him how to use a katana!" Weasley sprang up, shuffling through some items at a far side of the room. She stood and unveiled a large, glowing sword. "See? I'm not an expert, but I figured I'd teach him what I know." She propped the sword back up against the wall. In all actuality it didn't look very safe, but that appeared to be the last thing on her mind. Peering over at Filix and Equus, she laughed lightly. "Yes...I can see that. She seems to have a mind of her own." Equus' silver head bobbed. "Yes, yes I can move it." I think. he wrinkled his nose a bit before peering back towards his tail. It wriggled in response. "It is kinda' annoying sometimes though". Equus then glanced carefully at Filix. Outside...sounded oddly intriguing. He hadn't ventured much around the castle on his own, and held a strong yearning to explore beyond his room. He poked his head outside the already opened door. It looked welcoming enough out there... Equus slipped through the opening with only a little trouble. Once safely in the hallway, he slipped a hand back in and motioned for Filix to follow.Neith-Kia "Katana?" Neith jumped and sat back. "I bet Filix would love to use one of those. I'd just never let her touch one... she'd end up cutting off a leg or something. Luckily, she seems more interested in being a tomboy than picking up swords and playing with them." She watched them sneak out, and added, "Should we keep an eye on them?" Filix stared at his tail and made an impressed noise. "You can move it. I want a tail too... does it do anything?"
She poked her head around the door then as well, once he was outside, and slipped out soon after Equus. Filix was already having fun, it was like they were sneaking off. In fact, they probably were! She ducked to a wall, pretending that they were hiding from the parents. "Sh.... we got to be quiet and quick..."
Filix grinned widely, and crept down the passage towards where she assumed freedom was. Those silly ribbons were long forgotten.Weasley Weasley raised an eyebrow at the two escapees. "Hmm...I'd say so. But let's keep a little behind them. It'll make them think they've fooled us." she peered out of the room and watched the children make their way down the hall. Weasley crept out of the room, following them while surpressing laughter the best she could. The castle's hallways were empty, which made for lots of echo-age if she made even a small noise.
"Hmm...I don't think it can do anything. But it's good for keeping cool," Equus grinned, twitching his tail in both directions and speaking in a hoarse whisper. "Keeps the bugs away too." His tail created the tiniest of winds as it waved happily behind him. "Quiet and quick. Right." he slunk along the wall as if on some secret mission. "D'you know the way out?" Equus looked doubtfully down the extensive halls. "Err...because I don't."Neith-Kia "Sounds good." Neith nodded, checked that there was a map in her pocket and wandered after Weasley. She checked the halls, grinning and sticking her mouth into her arm while she watched the kids sneak off.
Filix blinked. She hadn't thought of that. But that was ok. Surely it wasn't too bad in these halls? "Um. Sure...! We go... down here. Then down ... a few more... halls... yes."
Peeping behind her at him, she grinned impishly and started to jog down the halls. "Can't catch me!"Weasley "Are you sure you know where we're go - yes I can!" Equus quickly swept a hand backwards, snapping his hair back into the loose ponytail. It wouldn't help to have hair flying in his face while trying to run. Plus, it seemed more aerodynamic...or something. With a determined grin Equus bounded after Filix, his movement swift but less than graceful. He slipped down a small flight of stairs and was now closing in on Filix. However, an interesting-looking room caught his eye. Equus skidded to a halt, his expression both excited and surprised. He squealed in a high whisper to Filix, "Filix! Look, come look what I found!"Weasley groaned after spotting Equus' discovery. "I guess he's finally come across the stables," she whispered to Neith, backing against the wall of the staircase. "They'd better not disturb anything in there..." Neith-Kia "I'm sure we won't get lost!" Filix giggled, running and running... and of course, being very close to being overtaken by the strong boy. She jumped down the stairs three steps at a time, somehow miraculously not slipping as she did and was about to duck the other way, and duck him... when he stopped. Filix skidded to a stop, and wandered back to Equus. She peered into the room "What is it, Equus? ...Ooooh... Look at that!"
She wandered in, peering around. "Where's the horses?"Neith who had almost had a heart attack when she saw Filix's stair trick groaned as well, and backed up. "Filix will be rather interested in that particular place... I hope that that she doesn't get too curious." Weasley "I just hope there aren't any angry horses in there." Equus wrinkled his nose upon entering the abandoned stables. Filix was right - there wasn't a single horse in the entire barn. He peered curiously into each of the stables, hoping that there might be one that he missed. Nearing the end of the long, empty, row of stalls, he turned and invited her inside. "...I don't know where they are. Maybe there's none left." he made a cutting motion across his neck and flopped his head dramatically to the side, as if signifying that they'd all died out a while ago. He snapped his head back up, however, when he heard a strange noise coming from a nearby stall. Peeking over the top, he entered quietly - crouching as he swung the door of the stall open.Neith-Kia "I don't think so, I heard the king talking about all the horses having escaped." Neith shrugged. "They might find a few bugs? Rats... dirt, and even some crumbled stone...?"
Filix slumped a tiny bit, wandering around the stables. She fingered the old and half-dead bits of tack still hanging on the walls, letting Equus search the stables. It was all a little sad, where were the horses?
"They probably all escaped." Filix wrinkled her nose and threw a broken bridle at Equus. "Not died. Or let loose by the ..."
Her face fell a tiny bit, and Filix drifted off. "The last."
"What is it, a horse?" Filix perked up and half-sprinted towards the stall. She peered in, and half-screamed when a light saddle started to move towards them. "A haunted... saddle!"Weasley Startled by the saddle, Equus stepped back with confusion. He stumbled and landed hard in the hay. "Hrrm...it has legs!" he cried to Filix, "Maybe it's one of those...beasts from the forest!" Fumbling around with his hands behind him, he found something that appeared to be a long, black stick. He took the riding crop in his hand, pointing the 'weapon' towards the saddle. "Back, foul beast!" Equus yelled, poking the saddle a bit with his crop. The saddle immidiately stopped moving as Equus continued to poke it. "Did...did we kill it?" he questioned, once again confused. Neith-Kia Filix shrieked again, but this time it was with a childish excitement. Climbing up onto a barrier between stalls, she threw random bits of rubble and straw at the saddle. "Beast!"
Then it stopped moving, and she climbed down uncertainly. "..I think we did." Filix wandered right up to the saddle, lifted and screamed when something black shot right through her feet and into the old hay.
Filix fell on her bum, but quickly twisted over and grabbed at a rock, throwing it at the hay while she backed off behind Equus with his better 'weapon'. "The monster was hiding UNDER the saddle! It's in the hay!" Weasley Equus stood up straight. "You're right! It tricked us!" The beast was clever. It had simply fooled them by hiding beneath the saddle! He lowered the riding crop, moving pieces of hay out of the way in search of the monster. His prize was deep inside the stack of rotting hay that they'd both fallen into at one point. He continued to search, finally poking into something soft. "Eeeew..." he recoiled, but was soon back at the haystack. Equus shoved his hand into the hay and held the monster away from him. He grasped the struggling rat by its neck fur, and inspected it. "Well...it's not very fearsome, is it?" Neith-Kia Filix was finally thinking for a change, now that the exciting part was over, and crept forward as quietly as a mouse. She poked at the hay too, determined that she could find the monster and just pouted at Equus when he pulled up a rat. "...It's a pet? Not scary at all!"
She poked at it with a stick, and squealed when the rat tried to attack her and the stick. "It's a feral thing though!" Weasley Equus gripped tightly to the rat. It appeared to be well fed, and was pretty strong for being locked up in a castle. His brow furrowed as he tried to keep the rat from struggling. "It's fat...hey, maybe we could keep it as a pet!" Equus peered around the stall, searching for something they could tie up the rat with. Spotting a thin length of rope hanging on the wall, he grabbed it and frowned. "Hmmm...we could tie the end of this around its mouth, and then pull it with the rest of the rope," he said, motioning to the rat."I saw a lady with a poodle do that once." his expression brightened as he came across a realization "Then it would belong to us! Because we have it on a leash and everything..." Neith-Kia Filix blinked at Equus, and reached forward to poke it again. Again, it tried to bite, and she frowned at the fangs. "I think the teeth would chew through rope, Equus... it a wild rat, and might have sickness! We should let it go... and when we get horses, it might scare them?"
She glanced at the empty stalls and added, "If we get horses."
Filix snatched the rat, somehow avoiding claws and teeth and held it up, wrinkling her nose at it. "It be perfect for Rosa, really... but we have to let this thing go."
Putting it down, Filix backed away... and shrieked again when it ran at her. She climbed up a stall, trying to throw things at the angry rat. Weasley "Awww...but it doesn't look diseased!" Equus pouted. "But it would scare the horses...and that would be bad. I guess we should let it go th-" he stopped short and stared at the angry rat. It hissed furiously at Filix, who was too far away for it to attack properly. Equus stepped outside the stall. He wheeled around, searching for the riding crop he'd had earlier. Fortunately for him there was another unused stall directly across from the one Filix and the rat were in. Swinging the door open, he grabbed at his weapon of choice. Crop in hand, he scrambled back towards the stall. He slapped the weapon against the ground - striking the rat's furless tail hard. The poor rodent shrieked and made a flying leap towards the haystack. Its aim proved true, and after a few moments of scrambling it found its way out of the stall. Equus stood triumphantly over the hay. "You're right, that' wouldn't have been a very good pet." he wrinkled his nose at the stack of hay. Neith-Kia Filix climbed back down again, pretending she hadn't been scared of the rat. "I think it's one of the scaredest rats in the world..."
She glanced up at him, and then in the direction of the rat. "I bet it would be scared of horses anyway... maybe it scared of your tail?" Filix patted Equus's tail slightly, and jumped when she heard a familar voice.Neith had been waiting... waiting... waiting... and finally decided it was time to go home. "Filix, come on!" Filix's face fell, and she pouted. "Neith found us!"Neith came into the stables then, and looked down at Equus. "We'll come for more visits, that's for sure. Come on, Filix!" Filix sighed, waved and called, "Bye!" as she was led away.

Filix met Equus today, we went over to his chambers to see him. He's the most adorable little boy, a little shy, but Filix seemed to get him over that quickly. They went on a mini-adventure to the stables... although why, I'm not sure. I tried to get her to wear ribbons for the meeting, but Filix soon got rid of them.
I think they were chasing a rat around the stables. Weasely and myself were sneaking after them, so I didn't look often. We had to go home though, I half wish that Filix could have stayed longer.
Oh well, next time!
