xp i only care about grammer if i can't understand what a person is saying, i usally supply words in my head to make in make sense

Yes, but it causes the people around the person with bad grammar to have to work harder to understand that person. If the person is not a native speaker of the language, it's okay, but I've found that more and more people who speak English as a first language have poorer English grammar skills than bilingual or trilingual speakers of English, or even students of English!
