Evil Canadians *shakes fist*
I know its not just me, everyone must notice it on some level, the strange amount of Canadians in this guild. Before it was just Isabelle, Joby, and myself, but now with Kninja coming back, and Naito joining, and we are all such avid posters, Canadian conversation is really starting to dominate. I find it a little creepy, actually. It's like when I go to Alberta, and everyone is white there, I really start missing seeing Asian faces and culture. whee Anyways, I don't really have anything to say, I was just making an observation. Canadian Discussion: Politics, Arts, News, Entertainment, Humour, Weather xd
This thread has really evolved. Which is nice; Keep Poll Jumpers Tidy. Edit: Warning for any stray Americans wandering through this thread.. all moneys mention are in Canadian funds and metric and Celsius rule the page... if you need a converter... Viola!Metric ConverterCurrency ConverterAnd no Yankee/Canuck bashing, that just ain't cool any day of the week. mad

Man, my crim teacher always freaks out about Tim Hortons. xd He's from Vancouver and it amazes him soooo much that people are always going there for coffee. Everytime he sees a cup of coffee from there (especially roll back the rim!) in our class, he goes off about it.

For our TV, more than half of it is American anyways. D: Most of the Canadian films I've seen...are really weird. ^^;

Yeah, I really like canadian films, actually, because they are weird, it's like watching foreign films from Europe. They are sometimes more interesting. Have you watched the movie called 'NOTHING'? It stars David Hewlett (the guy who plays Dr. Rodney Mckay in Stargate Atlantis), and it is so funny! A weird one I recently watched was called Phil the Alien, a Rob Stefaniuk film, that one was stupid and weird... but it didn't stop me from buying the film whee

XD Nothing was pretty good. x3 I like the Gingersnaps horror trilogy/whatever it is too. I saw one called Blood a while ago, thinking it would be horror or something, but nah it was about incest. D:

I heard the Ginger Snaps films are really big in Asia. I have never heard of Blood, but ew! gonk I shall avoid it! Another excellent film Hewlett was in was called Treed Murray. Very good, I recommend it. As for Tim Hortons, I like the coffee a lot. It was way better than Starbucks or Blendz, being rich in flavour, but not burnt. Plus its cheap, like coffee should be, it ain't 5 bucks a pop, but $1.50, like coffee should be.

Canadian incest: not illegal unless engaged in "knowingly."

I just hate it how at other websites people are like "HOMGZ pay attention to Canada we're so gr8 have you heard of us do you like us?"
But another american messageboard I go to is half Canadian and it's so insanely brutally funny xd
And another one is an american website but 3/4 of the forum members are from Finland, all kinds of crazy insane gross-out humour there.

I don't really like Canada, not to say I dislike it, though I happen to dislike it on principle whilst in the company of certain people, more to say I never really think about it, if it helps I think little of Mexico as well, but I don't really hear much about Mexico either. This guild is really the only place Canada is brought up. I dislike The Metric System. On principle. mad

What is with the Tim Horton's thing? Is it a complaint? I don't understand you Canadians!
I agree with Deehe though, metric system isn't something I like either.
I DID enjoy watching CBC for Olympic coverage better than what we got locally...
