Reiki is the ancient tibetan art of healing re-found by dr.Mikao Usui.
I will be putting up mroe information and a way to self attune and the symbols and hand positions later.

I've heard of reiki and looked into it for a bit, however I haven't exactly attempted it. I would like to know if you've attempted any reiki techniques and, if so, if they work well 3nodding If it's truly a powerful art then I would like to try it, since healing arts have always been something I enjoy ^^ (I always play the whitemage on online games xd )

I would like to know if you've attempted any reiki techniques and, if so, if they work well 3nodding If it's truly a powerful art then I would like to try it, since healing arts have always been something I enjoy ^^ (I always play the whitemage on online games xd ) yes, very powerful after my first attunement I got up and I have back problems so that's the first thing I did is put my hand on my back and heal it and the pain went away, then I put my hands on my nose becuase I have breathing problems and one nostral is blocked up... and for the first time in my life I could breath clearly out of both nostrals... my hands were always warm... I was insanely good at all other energies too... I made psi-balls easy and had amazing control over energies... then I kept researching it and yet agian... >sigh< I read something saying you can lose your attunement with doubt, and planted a seed of doubt, which made me reject the attunement.... my mother also said "the healing energy leaves once your hand leaves" which is all a lie, but still gave me doubt... so I lost my attunement... I got sick as a dog (technically literally... since I am part wolf, lol) for 21 days after attunement... in bed.. no energy and a bad flu... etc... it flushed me out, through a strong cold-ish flu-ish thing.. I coulden't move from my bunk bed... so I drew an alchemy circle asnd said my strength chant so I could get up and try going down the hall to get food so I could take medecine sweatdrop it takes sacrafice, but I think it's worth it... it helps and promotes all your supernatural powers as they call them... like psi, magick, ki, chi, chara, kinetics, third eye, obe, etc. you should do it when you have 21 days to be sick sweatdrop and fast for a week etc. beforehand... no toxins or anything, then everything you touch will be filled with reiki energy 3nodding

Wow ^^;; This sounds like it's getting more into magick than simple energies whee I've never known exactly where the line is drawn between psionics and alchemy and magick (I doubt anyone does) but I've always thought of psionics as simply expending energy you have whereas magick and alchemy exchange something you have in exchange for more energy. Sadly I've always been too afraid to exchange anything so I always just studied these arts rather than actually practicing them sweatdrop You say that so long as I don't doubt then it works, though, right? biggrin That's more than easy for me considering all the proof I already have that psionics works and now your story as extra proof 3nodding

You only get sick if you doubt it 3nodding I don't know the exact reasons in the magical world, but I'm sure it makes sense. Using reiki makes you really powerful, but the effects of doubt are to become really sick rather than a simple trick not working. I never doubt magick, though (It's worked for me in the past, so why wouldn't it be real? wink ) and I was able to use reiki just fine without getting sick. It's like really powerful psionics that can only be used for good.... sorta sweatdrop And interesting question just came to mind while posting this, though confused Whenever I summon some reiki energy I always have this sensation of being filled up with warmth and any sadness or pain or anything immediately flees and I lose any anger or spite. But if there's such a powerful positive energy out there in the universe, isn't there also a negative form? eek Is there a form of dark reiki that is only good for destruction? I, personally, believe that in everything there should be balance. You see it everywhere in the world around you. If you eat too little or too much you die. If you have too little or too much sleep you can become ill. If you work out too little you become weak, but if you work out too much you stunt your growth or could potentially hurt yourself. So there's pretty much a 100% assurance that there must be a dark-reiki out there somewhere eek But another thing concerns me, as well. Every time I use positive energy, is negative energy being used somewhere else in the universe? When I summon reiki energy, are the celestial energy reserves filled with dark-reiki to replace what I've used? Wow confused My mind just ran through alot of possibilities and touched alot of topics at once.

I've not been the least bit impressed with Reiki to date. I've encountered much more reliable psi healing methods.
