Sora sat in the usual spot, not really doing anything or thinking about anything in particular. He was alone at the moment, but he didn't mind. He laid down and put his hands behind his head, thinking about past events, and what the future might hold.

He held out his hand and closed his eyes, and they Keyblade appeared in his hand. Sora sat up and examined it. It looked the same as always, the handle was golden like the top of a key, and the blade was silver.

Sora closed his eyes again and the Keyblade disappeared. He wondered, as he had countless times, why the Keyblade had picked him.

Axel landed lightly on his feet, the grass underfoot cushioning his landing. He took a look to his left, he was on a hill, the ocean must but around the hill. From the sky, he could tell it was sunset. He smiled and looked at the sun, plopping down immediately to watch it go down, crossing his legs comfortably, his hands neatly in his lap as he slouched. He looked happily at it. The sunset was so pretty and fun to watch! The sun gave a real pretty look on the water, too. This spot was nice all around.

Axel wondered why he was here, and where 'here' was. He had a vague memory of this place, and something of a near by town. But how could that be? He was positive he hadn't been here in his life. The beauty slightly muffled that feeling, but it was amazingly lonely, yet wonderful on that hill. But after about half an hour of pondering on the vague memory of this place, something else came to mind, and was even more peculiar.

"Hey!" Axel shouted, pointing furiously at the sun, "Why isn't the sun goin' down?"

Axel scowled childishly at the sun, glaring at it, thinking that maybe, just maybe, if he glared at it long enough, it would go down. It became evident in about fifteen minutes that his gaze of anger wouldn't work.

"Boo. I'll figure out why y'er not goin' down, punk!" Axel vowed, studying the sun. But that didn't last very long. After about ten minutes, he waved his hand carelessly and stood up, walking down the hill and towards The Town He Vaguely Knew.

Axel walked down what appeared like a Terrace and walked farther toward Town. This place was so weird, it really got him angry!

Sora got up, shaking his head from all the thoughts flowing through his mind. He jumped off the crates he had been laying on, stretched, yawned, then relaxed.

He decided to walk around town, maybe see what Kairi and Riku were up to. He hopped on a skateboard and flew down the road to Sunset Terrace, the wheels of the board making a loud noise as they touched the ground.

Sora arrived at Sunset Terrace, got off the board and propped it up against a wall. He walked and sat on a wooden bench, looking around and hoping Kairi or Riku would show up.

Demyx was lost. Not that that came as any surprise to the light-haired musician. Lost should've rightfully been his middle name. Oh well, he had decided that getting lost here, in Twilight Town, wasn't so bad after all. It kind of, in a really illogical way, gave him a chance to check out the entire town, as he walked around aimlessly, an almost awe-struck expression on his face. Honestly, if anyone had looked at him, they would've thought he was five. But he wasn't, so actually, that was kind of depressing that they'd think he was so much younger than he was. Not cool.

He carefully rounded the corner, making sure he didn't walk into it like he had done earlier. And in front of a small group of girls nonetheless! Demyx sighed, feeling rather lonely in this pretty town. Sure he wouldn't have any qualms about walkign up to someone and introducing himself, but he'd probably scare them away. That sucked, man.

So as he was lost in not only this town, but also in whatever small amount of thoughts crossed his mind, Demyx had kind of sort of stopped paying attention. Bad choice, because he was heading straight for this black and white-clad blonde kid.

Not that he noticed.

Sora stood up and squinted at the never-ending sunset. He had decided to go find Riku here in Twlight Town. Sora scratched his head and went to find the skateboard he had placed. Once he found it, propped up against the wall, just like he left it, he hopped on and headed for the Old Mansion to see if Riku was doing some exploring in the Forest or even in the mansion itself.

As Sora rode down to the Tram Commons, he saw an older-looking guy about to run into a kid about his own age. "Hey! Mister! Watch out!" Sora hoped that the guy would notice, but he didn't find out, for he had already ridden pass and was in the Tram Commons.

Sora hopped off the board and, again, propped it onto a wall. He put his hand over his eyes, like a visor, to block the sun that was glaring at him. He scanned the area for Riku or Kairi, but neither of them were here. He hoped they hadn't left somewhere without him on the train or something.

Sora got back on the skateboard and rode into the forest. The grass wouldn't allow him to keep riding, so he ditched the board. The last time he was here, he was ambushed my Nobodies. It was nice to be able to go through and not be attacked for once.

Sora made his way through the forest, calling out Riku or Kairi's name once in a while. he then arrived at the entrance of the Old Mansion, found a bench and sat again, hoping Kairi or Riku would show up.

For the very rare moment in his life, he was actually slightly frustrated. Marluxia rubbed his temples with his fingers and closed his eyes.

Okay, think, what was the last thing that happened before arriving in this town, this Twilight Town? he asked himself, remembering the name the people he asked had given to him. There was something about that name that struck a familiar chord in his memory, but for some reason, he couldn't remember where he had heard it before.

His blue eyes fluttered open as he leaned against one of the walls of what seemed to be called the Back Alley. Atleast, that's what he gathered from asking some of the citizens wandering around.

Alright, what else do you know about Twilight Town? he asked himself again, attempting to keep his thoughts organized. The sun always looks as if it's about to set, but yet it never goes down. Yes, the more he thought of the town, Twilight Town, the more it struck him as an odd place. But that didn't matter at the moment, he needed to figure out just why his mind drew a large blank whenever he tried to remember what had happened before he had awoken in this strange town.

Axel stood against the wall of the Odd Terrace, watch the people walk through, but one thing did catch his eye. A kid was flying by on a skateboard, clad in mainly black, and with spiky brown hair seemed familiar. He was more similar than the rest of the place. He scratched his head in wonder. That munch-kin was way too familiar. It was like he'd been a friend of him, good buddies in fact. But just then, he saw him ride off.

"Hey-!" Axel yelled as he ran after him. But he'd already gotten to a place where Tram's ran through the whole plaza. He ran after the kid, failing to catch up.

"Come on, Axel!" He said to himself as he ran as fast as he could after the kid. But he only caught up enough to see him pass through a hole in the wall, which obviously lead to a forest. With a grumble, he ducked under the brim of the hole.

"D@#% brat." Axel swore as he ran through the forest, dodging trees. He heard the kid calling out 'Riku' and 'Kairi'. The names sounded familiar as well, and now it was really starting to creep him out. The crimson haired man followed the boy right through the gates of a large mansion, where he finally caught up.

"Hey you!" Axel called as he huffed for his breath.
"I know you. What's your name?" He asked, still trying to catch his breath. How did that kid go so fast?

Sora looked up at someone who had talked to him. "A...Ax-Axel? AXEL! What are you doing here!? How can you still be alive? I saw you disappear...wait, hold on a minute, you don't know my name? It's me...Sora...remember?"

Sora was standing again, staring at Axel. Seeing him without his Organization XIII clothes looked odd.

"OhmiGodI'msosorry!" All of the words flew out of his mouth before they even registered. Not that his brain ever registered what he said on a day-to-day basis, but this was a little more extreme than normal. Demyx bowed as an apology, suddenly and conveniently forgetting he had his guitar on his back. The blue instrument flew forward, smacking him in the back of the head.

"Eek!" He fell forward now, luckily catching himself before his nose became good friends with the street. One hand came up to rub the back of his now sore head, his head coming up just in time to hear the question the blonde had asked.

"Dunno! But man, now that you mention it, you sure look super familiar!" Blue eyes squinted thoughtfully (not too thoughtfully though.) This kid really did look familiar. Something about that hair. It reminded him of... of... a chicken. Only cooler.

"Oh well, I'm sure I probably knew you, but my memory sucks, so I don't remember at all! There's like this huge blank spot in my memory when I woke up in this town. Strange huh? Uh-- so yeah, hi!" Demyx pushed himself off the ground and stood, dusting off his jeans.

"The name's Demyx, what's yours?"

Axel was rather confused at this. He recognized the kid, but knew he didn't know him. But Sora, the name sounded familiar. What creeped Axel out the most was that he thought he was dead. Now that was just rude!

Axel scratched his head in confusion, leaning forward slightly.
"Listen, Sora is it?, I don't know how we know each other, but what possessed ya to think I'm dead, huh? I'm right here. Hello." Axel spoke bluntly as he waved his hand in front of Sora's face obnoxiously. This day was getting weirder and weirder every moment. It was like a big case of Deja Vu. But whatever connection they had, it was a strong one.

Axel was now really curious as to how he knew Sora, and how Sora knew him. But what was more odd was: Was he really supposed to be dead. Was he not supposed to be here? Did he die? All these thoughts buzzing through his head were backing his noggin' spin, and that hurt like anything. Why was all this happenin' to him? Why not to someone else? Why not to some group? Why not someone that deserved it!?
