I'm getting really pissed off. scream This guild is supposed to be about picture contests right? So why isn't it all about that? There isn't very many contests on this guild... or at least resent contests. Will someone please make a picture contest with a prize? I would but I don't know how to. sad Thanks! mrgreen

draven ran into some money issues for awhile, and was only able to offer those two contests for this month. Right now, he's in China on a business trip, so he can't very well do much from there. When he gets back, he might post more, if he feels it's worth it. No offense, but being more patient and less ungrateful will serve you well.
There are plenty of picture threads you can post in, while you wait for the next round of contests. Try it, you might actually enjoy it. Even if there aren't any precious prizes.

It's not that I don't want to give anything of mine as a prize but I don't know how to GIVE the prize. How do you send the prize (gold) to someone? And how should I judge the pictures? Should I have other people vote for them on a poll or should I just decide myslef which one is the best? I don't know. I'm freaken slow. If you tell me I'll make a picture contest and have a prize too. I'm not that selfish geesh!

Well, the way that the contests usually go here is that there's a thread made for a certain time period, where people submit their photos, (usually a month, but you can make it however long you want if you're running your own contest.) Then, after that time period is up, take all the photos that've been submitted, and post them in another thread, but include a poll in that one, so that people can vote on which one they think is best. Set a time limit for that too, and at the end, the one with the most votes is the winner.
To actually give the winner his/her prize, just use the trade feature in the bank. ^^ If you need anything else cleared up, just ask.

Listen, I know you're new and everything but please don't dis Draven. For over a year he funded like what, six contests a month by buying donation letters with his own money. There have been several announcements concerning his uncertainty over the guild's future due to his money troubles. I think he is probably just going to be offering one or two contests a month now. Plus, he's currently in China on a business trip, so expect things to be on hiatus.
Besides, there are actually two contests accepting entries right now, as far as I know, so I'm not sure what you're complaining about. Just head on over to the contests subforum.
