Who voted for Mustaine over Kirk and Burton? eek
Anyways, I voted Cliff Burton (RIP). He's a godly bassist, I seriously doubt Metallica woulda sold out if he hadn't died. AJ4A woulda been much better with burton. He was the most determined member of Metallica, he was their drive for success. Of every musician in the realm of metal, I've always had the most respect for Cliff Burton (Although, Roger Patterson comes very close).

It's a tie between Kirk and Cliff. So I put Kirk because of all of the other times that I put Cliff down in the other polls. >.>;

Hallows_Eve I seriously doubt Metallica woulda sold out if he hadn't died. AJ4A woulda been much better with burton. He was the most determined member of Metallica, he was their drive for success. So you think that Jason Newstead's presence alone caused Metallica to "sell out" (because when musicians want to change their sound, it means they sold out, huh?) And Cliff couldn't have been the "most determined member of the band" seeing as how he cowrote 2 or 3 songs on each album along with Kirk. Sheesh, since he died we have to make up stories for him now? rolleyes
