Mlhagalia, after ridding the guild of four of the spies, had called around the guild for another meet. As earlier, the scores of Poll Central gathered in front of a stage, where the bunny eared 'goddess' stood, to give an address to the members. Demon Godddess had also arranged for the remaining 'snacks' to watch from the wall-length window in Kesshutsu's old office, bound by DG's leather straps. What they were about to witness may have been the most crushing thing in their lives. "Ladies and gentlemen of Poll Central," she began, speaking in a gentle tone, "I thank you all for sticking with us through all of these vicious 'attacks' from that wretched Polling Alley guild. Ever since DG and I took over in Kess's place, bless his soul, they've been ruthlessly attacking us. We have always had a counter-strike, thanks to your support. Their evil guild is slowly falling apart, and now, will be gone completely." The crowds down bellow Mod Central let out cheers of victory, while the four captives raised there brows. "What does she me-" Suzaka began, quickly interrupted by DG. "Shh...you shall see." "You have all seen the latest offense. They sent over 10 people to infiltrate our guild. Finally, they have committed an act that can, and WILL be reported! The Polling Alley shall be destroyed...TONIGHT!!!" she screamed with pleasure, as the crowds roared with excitement. TinDragon, Suzaka, Blends, and Kobras, however, were almost sent into shock. "Shut down? We've done nothing wrong!" TinDragon opposed, knowing his message would fall upon deaf ears. "While that may be, Mlhagalia and I are quite convincing." She replied, as the others turned around and faced her. She winked, then leaned over and blew a kiss, "Girlish charm, combined with power can be deadly." She returned to her standing straight stature, and looked at the four's hearts broken. Their guild. Their hard work and determination. Their protest against Poll Central. Gone. "I see that this may come as a shock to you all, as well as a great pain." She said, in a sorrowful voice, surprising them. However, her sorrow quickly turned into demented pleasure. "So, please. Allow me to put you out of it!" she shouted, holding out her palm again as the tiny vortex formed. All of them recognized it, and all scrambled, trying to escape. The leather bounding, however, kept them closed tight. For all of them, the white mist flew out of their bodies, and as it left, everything went black. They felt weak, unable to move. It was as if their souls had just been torn from them...and they had been. "Ohh...the souls of moderators, even the retired ones, always taste better." She squeaked gleefully, looking at the writhed bodies of Blends, TinDragon, Kobras, and Suzaka. "Once ML comes back, the plan will finally set into motion. GAIA will be ours..."
~ Everyone at the Polling Alley was worried, as C.C., the one remaining moderator, had received a private message from Kokoryta, the moderator who receieved the harassment case from ML. The message simply stated that the Polling Alley was to be shut down at 12:00 AM PST. No one was in a particularly good mood, except for the two who had just entered the guild, Dolls and Zuka. Both had a wide grin on their faces as they walked over to the moping group. With child-like vigor, Dolls skipped over to them, and jumped around them happily. "Hey, what's wrong, guys? Bummed about getting shut down? Aw, well don't be! Poll Central was always the better gui-" she didn't finish before Tindzel shot up and stared into her eyes. He was angry as hell right now, and wasn't going to let people down talk the guild. "Poll Central was NEVER the better guild! It's full of complete idiots who worship false goddess's, calling them 'mom' as if they could handle having kids! You auction yourselves off as slaves as if you think it's a joke! You're no better then a group of chaotic neanderthals!" he shouted while swinging his arms around, and for the most part, accurate. "Oh, hush up and admit it. This guild was a fluke from the start. It will always pale in comparison to PC." Zuka responded cockily, nodding his head and grinning. The first thought that came to Tindzel's head was that these people were heartless. Actually, he pretty much stuck by that. "No!" D.K. countered, standing up and starting his own little speech, "Tindzel is right. You guys are a bunch of god damned idiots. The only reason we 'pale in comparison' is because they accept anyone, including dumb a** followers like you!" The two now stood, countering the traitors. Both parties stood their ground, staring each other down, like wolves ready to pounce. However, before they could, C.C. walked over to them. "Stand down, boys." She demanded from Tindzel and D.K.. They listened, and returned to a regular stance, while C.C. turned to Dols and Zuka. "I'm going to ask you to leave, before I ban you." "Hah. Like it'd matter. This place is going down in a matter of hours." Dolls sneered, checking her pocketwatch. "Enjoy your last...hmm...four and a half hours in the guild!" Laughing, her and Zuka turned and started to make their way out of the guild. But, before they could reach the portal, C.C flapped with feathery wings on her head creating a gust, not only pushing them them out of the guild, but banning them as well. She snickered a little before turning back to the group, who looked more downtrodden then ever. "Guys, there is a way to save the guild," she began, thinking hard, "we just haven't found the answer yet is all." "Those two have enough solid evidence against us. We're stuck, C.C.." Crono sighed, "Unless we can prove they kidnapped Jengi, we've lost." "So why don't we? We can break into PC an-" "Tried it." Tindzel interrupted, "Didn't work, and now they have 8 more captives." C.C. blinked. Sighing herself, she plopped down onto the ground, and sighed. They were defeated. It was over. What started out as a glorious protest now fell as an abusive group of flamers. How the mighty have fallen. Well, that would've been the case, if not for an unexpected visit. Through the portal stepped a man shrouded entirely in shadow. He wore all black, and not even a tiny bit of his skin could be seen. As his footsteps grew louder, the group turned towards him. C.C.'s brows furrowed. "Hey, you're not a member of this gui-" she was interrupted by the man, who only held up a card that read 'GUILD PASS'. It had never been seen before, but obviously it allowed access to all guilds. "Well then, what are you doing he-" once again interrupted by the man, who this time held up a photograph. Like earlier, they swarmed around it, and gasped, then again as he flipped to another picture, and yet again as they were shown another picture. "...Perfect! We have proof now!" Tindzel said with glee. This mystery man had been a beacon of hope, as he just supplied them with the evidence they needed to get their guild back.

"These pictures. They're not photoshopped, are they?" Tindzel asked the shadowy man, with a glint of hope in his voice. The man only nodded, and all of them grinned wide. "But then, how did you ge-" "Not of your concern. The only reason I am helping you out is because I know of Mlhagalia's plans. Unfortunately, I cannot reveal myself to moderators, so I trust all of you to the task." He said, his tone disguised. It sounded like he had one of those voice modifiers you could buy at Toys R' Us lodged in his throat. Obviously, this was a man who admired his privacy. "Wait. Mlhagalia's plans? I thought Demon Godddess wa-" Tindzel asked partially, before realizing the shadow man had disappeared. They looked around, wondering how he disappeared so quickly. "We didn't even get the guy's name." Crono mumbled silently. "Like it matters? Now we have proof that ML and DG kidnapped Jengi, and the others. So come on, let's get this to Kokoryta before she shuts down the Polling Alley." Dark Kaioshin said, snatching the pictures from Tindzel's hands and dashing out of the guild portal. All looking at each other, Tindzel, Crono, and NEG followed. C.C. smiled as she watched them go, feeling a faint sense of relief consume her.
~
The giant doors to Mod Central slowly pulled open, the bunny eared woman stepping inside, he staff readily at her side. Her 'state of the guild' address went over well, as excited whispers filled the air of Poll Central, rumors of things to come, like that all the members would be exiled from GAIA for being such stupid-heads. She cared not, as her plan, as the shadow man had said, was almost complete. Climbing her way up the spiral staircase, she stepped into Kesshutsu's office, where a refreshed looking DemonGodddess stood over four corpses. The blue haired, raccoon tailed woman turned and smiled at her comrade. "Ah, ML honey!" she squeaked as he skipped over to her partner like an excited little girl. "I've rid us of all the moderators that could get in the way. We can finally move on t-" She stopped as he red eyes locked onto ML's staff, pointed directly at DG. It was glowing blue, and Mlhagalia stared her down, sending a cold chill down her spine. "You're a fool, DG. There never was any "we". The only reason you were still a moderator after the wipe out," she began, her tone as serious as could be as she had her winged staff pointed directly at her face, "was because I begged Kess to let you stay." DG's heart skipped a beat, and she was confused. "Wha- wh- what do you mean? We're friends, ML. We agre-" "We never agreed on anything!" Mlhagalia shouted, shoving the rod towards DG's forehead, causing her he take a few steps back in recoil. "I told you the plan, you carried it out. You kidnapped Jengi and set everything off. If you remember correctly, Kessy left ME as head admin of PC when he left. You're just a moderator. I am the true Goddess." DG felt paralyzed. "Yo- y- you used me?" "Not like you're good for much else. That soul eating technique was all I was really interested in, and now that you've completed my work, you have no more use." The now revealed administrator of PC told her, holding the staff out. "ML...no..." Before DG disappeared from the guild, ML could've sworn she saw a tear fall out of her eye. No matter. Now ML had the opportunity she had been waiting for since she joined PC so long ago. Now was her time to shine...
"Excuse me, Mlhagalia?" said a tall, regal looking man as he walked over to a slightly younger ML. He had straight combed blue hair, and wore sunglasses, and a white tuxedo-styled suit. Around his body was a floating, magical sash, and in one hand he wore a blue gauntlet with the power of ice, and in the other, the staff that Mlhagalia now held. "Would you mind if I had a word with you?" "Not at all, Kesshutsu." She said sweetly, her mind still pure and collected. "Ah, please, call me Kess." He said kindly to the girl, not liking his full name to be used too often, "I'd like to speak to you about an offer." "An offer?" she questioned, raising a finger to her lip, a little confused. "Yes. You see, this guild is still young, and I'm not always around to father it. I need moderators to watch over my 'child'. Responsible people. So far, you seem like the most responsible member here." The blue haired man answered, smiling sweetly at the bunny eared girl. "Me? A moderator? Of a big place like this?" the fragile minded female asked, looking around. In this time, before it had gone to the dogs, Poll Central flourished. There were parks, small crystal clear lakes, big trees, and Mod Central stood as a monument of the unity and power. Now, Poll Central looked like a barren wasteland. The grass was dead and browned, the lakes were polluted, and tree stumps littered the area. Mod Central was no longer a friendly monument. It was viewed as a horrible chamber, by even the most loyal of members. "Yes, you. I think you could go far, Mlhagalia. Very far, indeed." He said, encouraging her to work hard. Little had the wise man realized he planted the seeds of corruption in her head.
Tuning in back to the current time, ML shook her head, getting back to the task at hand. Jengi was gone. The moderators of the Polling Alley were gone. PA was being shut down, and everyone there would be viewed as a liar. Any threats had been eliminated, and no one to spread her evil deeds. Not only that, with the support of the thousand and thousands of Poll Central members, she was sure to achieve her goal. Her goal to receive true power. To become a global moderator for GAIA.
~
"Well," a woman began, wagging her devil tail around, tapping her right foot encased by a yellow chick slipper, looking at the photos, "This does appear to be solid evidence, but I must ask where you got these photos from. My understanding is that you had all been banned from this 'Poll Central' guild." "You see, Ms. Kokoryta, a man carrying a guild pass came into the Polling Alley, and gave these to us. We didn't get his name or a look at him, as he was warpped up in dark cloth." NEG stated, hoping she would believe the slightly strange sounding tale. "Guild pass? No one has those thing except moderators an-" the global moderator stopped, and her eyes shot open. She felt incredibly nervous, but she did her best not to show it. "Uhm, yes. I understand now." All four of the furrowed their brows at her seemingly sudden change of heart. She quickly dashed into a drawer in her desk. They were all inside the Moderator Palace in Durem. Making the journey to Durem was slightly dangerous, as the wreckage of the Tower incident a few weeks go was still scattered about, but they made it, anyway. The woman jumped back in front of them, holding four cards, and a badge. "Here. These are guild passes and captain ranks, both temporary. I would go myself, but I'm dreadfully busy. As a matter of fact, I need to go now!" She dashed past them, leaving the four in the room. "Guild passes? Captain ranks?" Tindzel questioned, examining them. "Do you know what this means?" "You can finally go into that hentai guild without having to pay?" Crono snickered. The others also snickered, and he blushed a little. "No, you jackass. It means we can go back into Poll Central, and BAN Mlagalia!" he said excitedly. The others figured this made sense, but they were to busy laughing at Tindzel. "Alright, screw you guys. I'm going to go save the Polling Alley." He said angrily as he stomped out of the palace, and broke into a sprint to Poll Central. The others, realizing he was right, decided to follow. It was still funny material, so they giggled to themselves along the way. They arrived at the gates of the guild building, and all walked inside. They knew now was their chance to redeem themselves. To redeem the Polling Alley. To save their friends. And, without knowing it, save GAIA itself.

Entering the guild for the third time, Tindzel, Crono, D.K., and NEG walked down the path to Mod Central. Many of the members stopped and stared, as they had seen them been banned already, and the three guys had been banned twice! They watched with caution, wondering how they could've possibly made it into Poll Central without mules. D.K. had taken control of the group, leading them up to the doors, and he smashed his fist against it. "Yo! ML! Open up! We have proof that you kidnapped Jengi, and some other stuff!" he shouted, demanding she come out. Slowly, the doors opened, and there stood Mlhagalia, tears in her eyes, and the water running down her cheeks. "I do- don't know how y- you got i- i- in here." She stuttered, he breathing heavy as the tears kept rolling down, "bu- but I'd like to ap- apologize on...DEMON GODDDESS! WHY!" she shrieked, bursting into more tears and collapsing to her knees. Some members ran to her aid, helping her up. "Why are you crying, mommy?" asked one silver haired member called Neochamp. "Please don't cry." Said San San, another one of the well known members of PC. "I'm so- sor- sorry." She apologized, wiping her tears on her unsleeved arm. "I found DG, and she- she was there with Jeng- Jengi and the oth- others. The- they were all dea- dead. She told me be- before that if the PA mod- moderators came, to send the- them to her. I'm so sor- sorry. I ha- had no id- idea." Tears still ran down her cheeks like a rushing waterfall. The four actually sort of believe her story. Mlhagalia always seemed "weaker" then DG, and normally listened to her. That seemed accurate. "So, where is DG?" Crono asked, stepping out, "Kokoryta gave us a warrant for her banning." He said, holding up his captain rank badge, and guild pass. The other four held up theirs as well. Everyone gasped that they, these extrememists, these flamers, were given such powerful tools. ML was unphazed. Still crying, but unphazed. "DG." She repeated softly to herself, "I saw her wi- with the bodie- bodies, and I go- got scared for mysel-myself. Kessy le- left me with his capta- captain rank, his angelic sta- staff, so I- I..." She paused as more tears fell out, and she whispered silently, "I banned her." Everyone in hearing range, including the four PAers, eyes shot wide open at this news. "You banned her?!" Someone in the crowd shouted. It was Cynister, who had always followed DG around like a lost, hungry little puppy. "She killed over five people!" Mlhagalia shrieked angrily out into the crowd, "What's to make you think YOU wouldn't of been next! She could've killed any of us! I just acted out as a moderator. I didn't like Suzaka, TinDragon, Kobras, or anyone else, but I didn't want them dead!" The crowd hushed now, realizing her lie was true. DG had indeed killed nine GAIANS, but only under the orders of Mlhagalia. However, her tears and attitude were convincing, and just about everyone believed her. ML, while she did appear to be evil, paled in comparison to DemonGodddess, who had banned so many members so long ago. Mlhagalia turned her head back to the four. "I apologize for you loss." She said, mournfully. "We'll heal." Crono said, like he was unaffected, "However, could we trouble you to get the corpses?" The other three blinked, as did Mlhagalia. "Not at all, dear. We were going to dump the bodies eventually. I suppose you'll want them buried in the Polling Alley before it is shut down?" she asked, stepping aside and allowing them access inside. "Actually, PA isn't being shut down. Showed Kokoryta these." D.K. replied wisely, reaching into his pocket and handing her three photographs. They all walked in, as ML looked over the pictures, her eyes shooting open. "How did they get these?!" she thought angrily. She turned and watched them move towards the spiral staircase, her anger welling. "Ugh, no matter. Those five are the only ones who would be trusted, and they're all dead. Not only that, DG is still taking the heat for killing them." "Why the bloody hell are we going to get CORPSES?" D.K. asked, a little furious that they were just going to walk off. He knew that ML had to be guilty one way or another. "Because," Crono started, ready to go into a speech, "I want to embarrass her." "Huh?" all four of them seemed to ask. "She wants to be an admin of GAIA. This will just make the chances disappear completely." "Administrator?" NEG questioned, "She can hardly hold up a guild! How does she expect to help run all of GAIA?!" "Easy. Good publicity." "What?" they all asked again. "Listen, Jengi was kidnapped for a big reason. ML had someone break into PA and kidnap Jengi. The disappearance of Jengi lead to a search party, and when that failed, they brought in a bigger one, consisting of our moderators. Now, what do our moderators have in common?" "Uhhmmm...they all hate Poll Central?" NEG asked, also answering his question. "Precisely. All of them have a grudge against Mlhagalia, DG, and PC itself. With us and many other behind them, Mlhagalia could never become a global moderator with people putting down her 'good' name. Not wanting to take the heat for murder, she asked her "friend" to kidnap the mods and kill them, because, like Jengi-" "They were 'hurting her feelings'!" Tindzel suddenly realized, wondering how Crono could've figured all of this out. "Good job. So, DG, wanting to help her dear friend, killed them all, including Maha, Plushie, Noshi, and Bana, because they were witnesses. Next, to solidify her good nature, she reported PA to the moderators, and if PA was crushed-" "All the remaining members would be considered flamers who just hated PC?" D.K. asked, also answering his question. "Exactly. The plan would've worked without a hitch if not for that shadowed guy. But now it's starting to fall apart. The reason I don't want to book her now is because I'm sure Suzaka, Ti-" "Wait, what do you mean? Those guys are all dead!" Tindzel interrupted. "Did you forget about Aislinn?" he said, turning around and grinning. Everyone blinked, but then smiled.
~
"So, a resurrection? Normally I'd charge you a little gold, but, this is for the Polling Alley. Besides, I'd miss Kobras and Suzaka too much." She said, looking down at all nine lined up bodies. The four had carried all the bodies back on their shoulders (Crono had to shish kabob one on his pitchfork and carry it that way [What? They were going to come back to life anyway!]), and went to Aisllin Hanrahan, the guilds most 'spiritual' member, and by some known as a hippie, but, she had the ability to resurrect people. Something that would be incredibly useful for this event. The brown haired girl started to chant as a blue, pale figure came out from her body. It flew swiftly through the air and out of the portal for PA. Aisllin looked a bit weaker with the blue figure out of her, but she could stand. Flying out of the guilds building, the blue spirit flew out of Barton Town, and out of the northern entrance, past the coliseum, and over to Bass'ken Lake, where fishers littered the shore. Of course, one was there not fishing, but crying. "She used me. I was nothing more to her then some cheap member. I'm not a goddess, I'm a moron." She thought silently, the tears streaming down her cheeks. The blue spirit hovered next to her, and the blue haired sobbing woman looked at it, recognizing the ethereal presence. She smiled a bit, wiping the tears away. "I know. Take them. Bring her down for me, and everyone else who's been played for a fool by her." She plead, smiling and letting the spirit enter her body. It soon after emerged with nine other blue figures as they all began flying back to the guild building. The nine souls returned to PA, and each one flew into a different body. Crono, D.K., NEG, and Aislinn looked over the bodies, as the skin began to fill up like it had just received a botox injection. "Ugh...what happened?" TinDragon asked, sitting up and shaking his head.

And so, the time had come. The fallen had been revived, and they formulated their plans. Crono, D.K., NEG, ad Tindzel still held their captain ranks, which meant they could grant access to anyone of the Polling Alley members who wanted to venture with them to take down Mlhagalia. Some wondered who would watch over Poll Central once Mlhagalia had been exiled from it, and few knew who would. She was a reserve moderator who went by the tag of "Neonibbles". She was the last moderator, as well as the least known, because unlike her sisters in power, she was not power hungry. Neonibbles was content being able to watch over the guild and keep everyone happy, as well as enforce the rules when required. She should've been considered the "true" mother of the members. Lead by Suzaka, who was most determined to end the tyrannical ways of Mlhagalia, the group of eighteen members marched through the portal into Poll Central. As they arrived, they were surprised. It was barren. There were no members running around throwing gold out to others, the slave auctions were empty, and all that remained was the brown grass, barren trees, and the towering Moderator Central building. In the nine months Poll Central had existed, never was there a day when it was barren. They could not even spy a greedy lurker who kept to the ground, searching for left over gold. "This is weird, even for me." D.K. stated, puffing his cigarette again, blowing the smoke up into the air (as if the place needed more pollution). A bunch of them nodded, and C.C., who somehow had a plan, stepped out. "Alright, I think I know what we should do. There's obviously something wrong here, so we should send some people INTO the MC, and leave some out. Since I doubt it's possible to fit 6718 inside of there, people must be hiding out here. So, we'll send a party inside, and leave some outside." "Who should be in that party?" Piya asked, peeking out from the line. "Well..." C.C. started, stepping out totally from the line and pacing from start to finish of the line to pick out 'soldiers'.
Moments later, Tindzel, Crono, D.K., NEG, Suzaka, TinDragon, and Aislinn had stepped out of line and to the front of the Mod Central. They knew that was where Mlhagalia must've been, and in the event anyone had been defeated, Aislinn had to be there to revive them. God forbid that she may fall facing the witch, she would be guarded by Blends and Halykon. If they were to fall, at least she could revive them, as it would be pretty hard to bring yourself back to life. The rest of the waved them in, as they pulled open the gigantic doors, and all stepped inside. "Think they'll get her?" Kai asked Maha, who she was staying close to, not only out of fear, but love. "Of course they will." He said reassuringly, while he actually doubted it a little. If Mlhagalia was stronger then DemonGodddess, who had killed him no more then 5 hours ago, they would be in for one hell of a ride.
~
Outside, in the center of Barton Town, Lanzer, VO, Locke, and Jakobo gathered. Today was the special day that they would select new moderators, but the progress was always discreet. They kept an eye out, over the course of a year, watching who was reliable, who seemed to enforce and obey the rules, and report when it was needed. And strangely, out of over the population of 1,000,000, the moderators only had chose six people who would watch over the whole of GAIA. "Just goes to show how unreliable some people are." VO sighed, shaking his head. "Better to have a few good mods rather then a bunch of untrustworthy ones." Lanzer said coolly, and the other administrators couldn't help but agree. He had grown accustomed to the nature of the people. He was, and stil is, the creator of GAIA, and still ran it, working non-stop in an effort to make the people he watched over happy. Everyone (well...aside from a few idiots) had respect for Lanzer, and for all the work he had done through GAIA's two years of existence. The new batch had not been chosen by Lanzer, but rather by the other three. Each picked two of whom they thought were best to watch over GAIA. They had taken their own notes, and then written the six people down on another sheet of paper. They had all decided that at 12:00, they would call all of the Gaians to Barton Town, and announce their new guardians. Among them, the second one picked by Jakobo, was Mlhagalia.
~
"The hell happened here?" Blends questioned aloud, still standing in front of Aislinn, but like everyone else, looking around absently. The well furnished building had turned into a gigantic towering dungeon in less then 3 hours. The once carpet lined floors were now hard rough stone with moss growing in-between the cracks. The tapestry that once hung on the walls magnificently were now torn and decrepit. From a mansion to a dungeon, they had all thought. "So how do we know where to go now? It's like the place has been shuffled." Suzaka asked, looking around. The building did indeed look shuffled...except for the spiral staircase, directly straight from the entrance, as it had always been. Of course, there was a problem. There was a big chunk of stairs missing. Tindzel and NEG, however, thought this would be interesting. Both of them were huge gamers (not to say the others didn't play video games, but these two played them as a religious practice). Like a dungeon in a game, there was something somewhere to help them cross. Of course, the stakes were higher here, but the principle was the same. Without saying anything, they both stepped out and walked further down, examining the dungeon, looking for anything suspicious or out of the ordinary. Aside from the broken staircase, there was a passage to the left, to the right, and one at the cross-section of the two leading down. "Alright." Tindzel spoke, walking back to the group. "We have 9 people here, and three passages. We'll break into parties of three, and examine. I'll go with Crono and Suzaka. NEG, you go with D.K. and TinDrag-" "Hey, wait a minute!" she interrupted, "Why should I have to go with D.K.?" "Oh...right." he said, scratching the back of his head, "Ok, I'll go with Suzaka and D.K., NEG will go with Crono and TinDragon, and Aislinn goes with her gaurds. I'll go down the center, NEG's group will take the left, and Aislinn's group, take the right." Everyone nodded, seeing this would be the best way to go. Everyone went their separate way, searching for something that may lead to Kesshutsu's Office. Or, as it was known now with the building's renovations, Mlhagalia's Layer.
~
Outside, where the remaining Polling Alley members stood guard, watching for anything suspicious. Among themselves they decided if they didn't see anything in an hour, they would rush inside to help. Besides, nothing was going on. A calm wind blew, and they were all just standing guard, waiting...and waiting, and waiting. "Think they're all ok?" Plushie asked, sort of bored now. "They should be. Besides, chances are it's only Mlhagalia in there." Piya responded reassuringly. Although, she would've liked to have gone in, too, she knew those nine were the best suited. Suddenly, they all heard rustles. All glancing around, they saw nothing. Could it have come from the tower? No, this sounded more like grass, or leaves. Another rustle. Now everyone was worried, and, with good reason. Members of Poll Central, seemingly out of nowhere, began pouring into the fields. The strange thing was, their eyes were strange, like little light holes. "ZOMBIES!" Kai shrieked out of impulse, and while it sounded ridiculous, it couldn't of been closer to the truth. The mob of mindless drones continued marching towards them, and Maha pulled out his fishing rod. "Comon, if they can take Mlhagalia, we can take some drones!" he shouted, sprinting out of the line and over to one of the drones, smashing it's head with his strength rod. It fell down almost right after. Feeling encouraged, everyone rushed out, determined to protect themselves from these zombies who served under the witch Mlhagalia

Back in the tower, things had gone well. The three parties returned to the main floor, all in tact, but they had returned with nothing aside from a few wounds from the sharp rocks and perilous trap hidden around the tower. "Nothing?" NEG asked, looking at the other two groups. They sadly shook there heads. "The only thing we found," Blends began, turning his head towards her, "was some odd markings in a weird language. Aislinn could read it though." "Hey, we found markings too. Suzaka could read it." Tindzel spoke up, looking at the blue haired girl. "NEG read it for us." Crono interrupted. Apparently, Tindzel was lucky in splitting it up so that each group had a translator. "It's a dialect known as Echnaseen." NEG explained, "It was used a long, long time ago by an ancient race of magic users." Everyone blinked, except herself, Suzaka, and Aislinn. "But how did you three know it?" D.K. asked, half interested about it, pulling another cigarette out of his pocket and shoving it in his mouth. Mainly because, if anyone was to know a language of old magic users, it would've been Tindzel. "It was customary in my family to learn it. I'm a descendant of the race, supposedly." NEG replied. Suzaka explained that as an elemental, and the use of Echnaseen is common. Lastly, Aislinn said that since she was a cleric, using magic to heal, Echnaseen was used to chant more powerful spells, like the reviving one she had used a little while earlier. "Well then, what did the scriptures say?" Tindzel asked, a little annoyed that he didn't know this language. For all he knew it could assist him with his magic studies. The three began, " 'The heart of purity has been tainted by power. Do not let the darkness of corruption consume the good inside. Let the light of goodness shine through, and you shall be free.' " As they finished the chant, the building began to violently shake. Some of them stumbled and fell onto the ground, and other managed to stand their ground. However, what all of them saw was incredible. A large, stained glass window was placed into the wall by the spiral staircase, and suddenly, bright white light began to shine through. Magically, the light formed a transparent set of stairs covering the gap that had once been there.
~
From outside, where the large scale battle raged on, some of the Polling Alley members stopped to watch what had happened. While inside the three girls were chanting the translation, a ball of white light was forming behind Mod Central, yet it was so bright it looked like a miniature sun. The watched the light as they heard a sound like metal sliding against metal. Not knowing what was going on, a few members out of impulse ran into the building. Fox, Maha, Plushie, and Piya all ran in, leaving the others to fight the winning battle. Of course, without Maha to smash zombie skulls with his fishing rod, or Fox to jab them with her assortment of drawing and coloring tools, would they last? "COME BACK!" C.C. yelled out of desperation, flapping the wings on her head to temporarily stun the zombie members. However, as the rescue group of four entered the tower, they saw no one. No sign of the nine people who they had seen for their own eyes enter the building. They had no clue where they could've gone. The spiral staircase had a big gap in it, and they saw no other ways around. "Oh gosh, I hope they're alright." Fox said, peaking around the tower herself. "Comon, we need to get back out there. C.C. is caling for help!" Plushie said, running back out. The other three nodded, and ran out confident hoping that the nine were ok.
~
"The game is over, Mlhagalia!" TinDragon shouted, stepping out infront of the group. The office was untouched. The same rug, the same walls, the same desk, the same window. What was different was the bikini clad bunny eared woman standing in front the wall-spanning window. She was looking out, down at the fighting. "Why?" she asked, not facing the group, "Why do you keep trying to bring us down? Haven't you realized you can't? Your pathetic guild has been in existence for maybe, MAYBE, three months. You've made several attempts to annoy us and embarrass us. What have we done wrong?" "What have you done wrong? You've abused your powers, and gotten away with it, making US look like the bad guys!" Suzaka screeched, stepping out with TinDragon. "You force people to have to like you, otherwise the whole guild turns on them and their viewed as a jerk." Tindzel stepped out. "You make people call you "mommy" and "Goddess", when nothing could be farther from the truth." NEG stepped out. "SHUT UP!" Mlhagalia shouted, turning around and stomping her foot. "I can do whatever I want as I have power! I have the power of one of the largest guilds in all of GAIA! My plan would've gone without a hitch if not for you! But...it's no matter now." Mlhagalia grinned wide. "I got a Private Message from Jakobo. I'm becoming a Global Moderator of GAIA." All of their eyes spread wide, wide open, like they had just been splashed with cold water. "It's incredible what the 'opinions' of over 1,000 people can do to give on an impression of someone." "We won't let that happen! The initiation isn't for another hour!" Crono shouted, stepping out from the group now. D.K., Aislinn, and her guards Blends and Halykon joined him. "You honestly think you nine can stop me? Already I can feel the power of the moderator...of the guardian...of the GODDESS!" she screamed, laughing wildly. Tindzel, Crono, NEG, and D.K. all held up the captain's rank, and looked at her. "Under the authority of Kokoryta, global moderator of GAIA, you are exiled!" They chanted as badges began to glow. All four shot out beam of white light at the crazed woman, and it actually thrust her back, sending her crashing out of the window and hurdling toward the ground.
The members fighting the battle below heard this crash, and looked up. They watched as the woman fell to the ground, and how she hit it. It looked like she would have dislocated AND broken every bone in her frail body. However, she stood up unscathed. "YOU FOOLS! THE POWER OF A GUILD CAPTAIN CAN NOT RIVAL A GODDESS!" she shrieked. Suddenly, from the eye socket of the zombie, white light shot towards Mlhagalia, and encased her in a beautiful glowing aura. Her eyes, like those of the Poll Central zombies began to glow white. "Get her!" Maha shouted, raising his blunt fishing rod in the air and charging over to the newly appointed moderator. The rest of the group charged over with him, trying to attack her with sharp pencils and blunt objects, blow her away with gusts of wind, or just try and knock her out. Yet the white aura around her acted as a shield, blowing them all back. "You attempt to hurt a moderator? All of you are EXILED!" she shouted, waving her staff as a goldish-white light shot out. It hit several of them, and they simply disappeared. Not even a body left behind. Fox had managed to dodge the beam, but now she crept into a corner of the guild, Mlhagalia and her army of zombies behind her. "You will not dodge my power twice, little girl!" she said, holding her staff at point blank range to their faces. But suddenly, black and white spirals of energy pierced her aura, hitting her in the back. Mlhagalia screamed in agony as the aura briefly faded. "SHE'S NOT YOUR PROBLEM, MLHAGALIA!" Tindzel shouted the entrance of Mod Central. Behind him stood the group of nine. While Mlhagalia was going around senselessly exiling the members, the four who held a captain's rank granted captain power to the other in their group. Leaving the lair, they managed to jump the gap (going down was of course easier then going up). They had seen her ban the rest of the Polling Alley resistance. "YOU SHALL NOT DEFEAT ME!" she screeched, jumping back up and turning around, now ignoring the girl behind her. Thinking quickly, and reaching into her bag of supplies, she pulled out a sharp black ink pen. "Take this!" she shouted, raising her arm and shoving the pen into Mlhagalia's side. The wound now leaked ink and red blood, and the Goddess screamed in pain. Seeing Fox's quick move as an opportunity, they all rushed out, knocking off the zombies, and started wailing on Mlhagalia. She was slashed with a rapier, poked with a pitchfork, burned in they eye with a cigarette, whacked with a mug, and punched in the gut with the power of fire and ice. Before she even took one more hit, the aura returned, blowing them all away. "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! I WILL END THIS WHOLE GUILD! I HAVE NO MORE USE FOR ITS FACILITIES, MUCH LESS THE MEMBERS!" she shouted, hovering the air, covered in the white aura. She raised her staff high in the air, as the tip top of it began to concentrate the goldish-white light.

Outside of the fighting ground that was once known as Poll Central, a crowd was gathering in Barton Town. The four administrators stood atop a platform, and next to the platform stood the new moderators. All except the second one chosen by Jakobo. "Hey, Jak?" VO whispered to the female administrator, "Where's that Mlhaligalash or whatever?" "I'm not sure. The message said to be here before 12:00 GST." She said, turning around and looking to Durem. The clock read about 11:55. "Didn't you say she hangs around that poll guild?" VO asked again, getting a little worrier. They needed to make the deadline, or else it would cause uproar. Jakobo nodded, and jumped off the platform, and ran to the guilds building, trying to break through the crowd. Of course, she was swamped by tons of members, until a giant clad in stainless-steel armor pushed them all aside. "Where are you heading, Lady Jak?" Asked the knight, who was keeping the crowds away from her. "Thanks, Leon. I need to get to Poll Central and find Mlhagalia." "Well, if it helps at all, I saw her enter this morn', but not exit." "That's actually a bigger help than it sounds. Thanks again!" she said, rushing by, into the guild building.
~
"It's all over, now." Mlhagalia whispered as the ball of energy reached its maximum. She began to hover higher and higher into to the air, and looked down upon the field. Everyone looked up, knowing they were doomed. Farewell to their home, they supposed. "WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!" shrieked a startled Jakobo, watching the battle raged. Everyone turned and looked, even Mlhagalia, and as she did, the ball of energy went 'poof'! "J- j- j- jak- jakobo..." lhagalia stuttered as she slowly floated down to the ground, her aura disappearing. She walked through the field of battered zombie members and the resistance, walking up and kneeling in front of her. "Goddesses kneel to others?" Crono shouted out, trying to add embarrassment to injury. The other Polling Alley members who remained laughed. Jakobo did not tell them to be silent, but rather waited for an explination. "Y- y- you see, these hooligans, the Polling Alley members, they keep tr-" "The Polling Alley? The guild that was supposed to be shut down?" Jakobo asked, looking up at the standing warriors. "Yes m'am. We brought pictures of Mlhagalia and an ex-moderator of this guild named DemonGodddess to Kokoryta. It was solid proof that this one had been abusing her powers, and attempting to get rid of some Gaians for good!" Tindzel explained, walking up to Jakobo. "LIAR!" Mlhagalia screamed. "Oh, really?" said D.K., reaching into his pocket and pulling out the three photos. He handed them to Jakobo, and she gasped. "...I can't believe I was fooled..." she whispered silently, her eyes open in horror. She looked back down at Mlhagalia. "You tried to trick me?! An administrator of GAIA?! What nerve you have! Mlhagalia, you are EXILED!" With that, Jakobo raised her pitchfork in the air, then shoved it through ML's body. Almost instantly, she faded into nothingness. It was over. They, the Polling Alley, had won.

"Where are Jak and Mlhagalia?!" Lanzer questioned, now growing impatient. The clock in Durem now read 12:03, and the Gaians were growing impatient. At long last, however, Jakobo returned, stepping out of the Guilds building with every member of the Poling Alley (even those who were banned by Mlhagalia) and the Poll Central members. People were confused while watching this display, where at last Lanzer jumped off the platform and walked up to Jakobo. "What took you so long? Where is Mlhagalia, and who are all of these people?" "Well," she began, looking back at the crowds, "it's a looong story." ~
The next afternoon, the Polling Alley members celebrated. They had done what they planned to do ever since the guild was formed, and that was end the tyranny of Mlhagalia and DemonGodddess. Miraculously succeeding, they decided to check on the guild the next morning to see how their impact had affected them. Surprisingly, it was a positive impact. New grass was being laid; flowerbeds were being planted, along with trees and other plants. The slave auctioning stand was taken down, and Mod Central was now refurbished (It had to be. Neonibbles had selected a new crew to watch over Poll Central, and they needed a home). Speaking of Mod Central, the new substitute leader of the guild was thanking everyone who had come to Poll Central last night inside the tower in Kesshutsu's office. "I really can't thank you guys enough. No one ever spoke up, but their complete rule was beginning to get to everyone. I'll make sure this place will run like clockwork until Kess comes back." They all smiled wearily. They never really intended to be thanked for getting rid of the two. They figured everyone actually liked the sisters in power. Of course, this was a bit more pleasant. "Well, just don't let the power get to YOUR head, Neon. You could be next." Crono smirked. Everyone else laughed, along with Neon. Of course, on the inside she was making a personal note that said "don't mess with the Polling Alley". But, as a thanks and an apology, Neon went into the guild's bank account, she gave each of the members who helped out 75,000 gold. All of them thanked Neon, as they knew if she was generous enough to hand away this much gold, well...she would make one hell of a leader. The guild was shaping up already. It was kind of nice knowing they helped change such a big place.
~
"You know, we never found out who that black clad dude was." Crono spoke up, throwing his sack of gold between his hands. He was sitting around with the other hero's of the evening, who were also examining their gold. "If it wasn't for him, you know, we probably would be shut down." "Heh, actually, I know exactly who that was." Jengi said, walking up to the group. His kitty was cozying itself on his head. "That, my friends, was none other than the infamous Labtech X." Everyone gaped at him, but Jengi just smiled. "I had a feeling that I was being 'watched', so I got some hired help. If I had disappeared from the guild for more than three days, I wanted him to infiltrate Mod Central, and it was a done deal. It only costed me about 10,000 for the best protection in all of GAIA." "How did you manage to find him? They say he's been in hiding because he's accused of Gambino's assassination." Tindzel replied a little interested. "Nobody ever looks in obvious places. He was hiding in the little backhouse behind the new mansion." Jengi revealed, laughing a little. Everyone grinned and laughed with him. "Hey, guys! Guys!" A familiar voice called out. It was Rose, walking with Blends, and she had an odd, mischievous gremlin hat on, a very rare find. "Where'd you get that hat?" TinDragon queried "Blends managed to find a miss priced OMG on the market. It was up for 76,000 gold. Apparently the seller forgot a '0'. But that's not what we found out about!" "Well, what's the news?" NEG asked, examining the gold in her palm. Rose pulled out a paper from her pants pocket, and held it up. They all scurried over to the paper, and blinked, gasping with happiness. The article read...

~Late Moderators~
We sincerely apologize for last night's delayed announcement of new moderators. One of the pre-chosen, Mlhagalia (now banned) was chosen wrongly, as she went off and banned several GAIA members. However, the members have been un banned, and the six new moderators have been chosen.
*We'd like to thank members of the Polling Alley guild for bringing Mlhagalia's power abuse to our attention
- "We got mentioned in an announcement! We're practically famous now!" Suzaka shouted in glee. Everyone nodded and began chatting nonchalantly. "Wait...that means I should get back to my office!" The blue haired woman ran back into her private office inside the guild, where join requests were pouring in by the hundreds. Everyone smiled at this, and rested easy. The good guys had won, and peace would prevail...for a while, anyway.
