I know most of you already know that fetal tissue is used in the making of vaccines but this is a source that shows exactly which cells are used in which vaccines and shows exactly what is going into our children. I am not happy.

Use of Human Cell Lines in Pharmaceuticals - Canada

Various commercially available pharmaceutical products are derived from or cultivated on fetal cells lines that were obtained from abortions. Patients may have a biological, ethical or religious objection to products that come from human sources. The chart below allows us to provide information to patients to make informed decisions. It also makes known the fact the alternatives are available in other countries and should be available in Canada.

NOTE: -All flu vaccines use non-human cell lines

-Immune-Globulin shots will provide temporary immunity (3-5 months) for Hepatitis-A and Rubella

Oh...s**t....no. No No No. I do infact knwo that some vaccines contain fetal cells, I actualy have no problem with that (depending on the cells) but I will not use somthign liek this, that contains cells aquired form abortions, on my children. No!

Also, dosn't this kinda negat the PP argument that the fetus isn't really all that developed enough to be of any use to any one?

Ugh.. that's disgusting.

Edit: I hate shots, so it would not be too much of a problem for me to avoid, though.

Why would anyone get their children vaccinated from the Chicken Pox? Once they get it it's very rare for it to ever come back again, it's like its own natural vaccination. Plus if males get the chicken pox later on in life there are much higher health risks than if they get them when they're younger.

From what I understand it's not very effective either. But we're very vaccination happy in our country and I assume canada is the same way.

I got chicken pox twice. Bleck.

We're not vaccination happy, seeing as a vaccine ended up putting my mom in a wheelchair...

but a vaccine for chicken pox? I like Pyro's mom's way better. Peeing should be a painful ordeal.

I never had a chicken pox sleep over but I did give have the kids at the hospital my mom used to work at chicken poxs (nobody knew I had it and since I had to stay at the hospital for the day since my mom or dad couldn't stay home with me, I just wandered around the building). I hated the itching, it drove me nuts.

I don't get alot of shots since my dad told me that some can actually get you sick when your trying to avoid it.
