The Beginning
SPLAT!
"Uggh, NOT AGAIN!"
A big white spot had appeared on Kai's head.
"Stupid birds!!!"
He brushed off as much as he could without puking and continued walking toward his apartment. Unbeknownst to Kai, little beings called Furies, meant to cause suffering and chaos, were the source of his bad luck.

Father Sky saw how tortured and desolate Kai was and called his assistant. "Raziel, get me the list of Guardians I can send down, I see a helpless Hume being tortured by those awful Furies again."
"Father, I would gladly get the list if there actually were guardians on it."
"WHAT? WE SENT DOWN ALL OUR GUARDIANS? How could this be?"
"Ummm, I could go Father..."
"Splendid idea Raziel! Now...
BE GONE!"
Now Raziel suggested this because he hated working for Father Sky. He was always bossed around and being told orders. Helping some pitiful Hume couldn't be that bad, right?

Kai reached his apartment and reached for the key in his pocket but all he got was a hole. "Shi-" Raziel slowly floated up to Kai holding his key.
"You! You stole my key!"
"Wait, it wasn-"
"YOU LIE!!!"
Kai grabbed the key, ran to his door, unlockedit, and slammed the door right in Raziel's face.
"Phew, that was"
"close?"
Kai turned around and there was that little boy right in his apartment.
Before Kai could freak out again, Raziel spoke...
