A startlingly bright creature moved slowly through the jungle, occasionally stopping to smell the various different types of flowers. Because of her strange pink spots, it would be hard to tell from a distance that the creature was in fact a leopardess. She had a healthy spring in her step, and was singing as she went along, although her singing voice left much to be desired. "La-laa lalalalaaa!" Her lilac eyes moved this way and that, scanning the bushes and trees for new flowers to smell.
It was while she was searching for flowers that a different, less sweet smell touched her nose. Pausing for a moment, one paw in the air as she was in mid-walk, she lifted her head higher to try and pin-point the new and unusual smell. She was quite new to these lands, having only just decided to start exploring having reached an age that she thought was adequate for finding new places, discovering new things and meeting new creatures.

The small white leoaprd had left Kini as he slept. She wouldn't go for long as she liked to be with him, he may be big and scary but he was a softy really and she liked him alot, after all, he taught her how to kill the bark on a tree when it attacked you!
As she was wandering, only a few trees from Kini she suddenly stopped and cling to the nearest tree trying to see what that dreadful noise was. She didn't like the idea of singing and it sounded wrong to her!

Wrinkling her nose up a little as she tried to detect the source of the new smell, she padded around in a few different directions in an effort to narrow the search down. Eventually she pin-pointed it, and it seemed to be coming from a nearby tree. Curious, the large leopardess walked forward, only to let out a sharp gasp as she discovered exactly what the new scent belong to. "Awww! Well aren't you precious?" Her lilac eyes rested on an adorable little cub.
Smiling happily, she crouched down to the cub's level, leaving her rear end stuck up in the air along with her tail which was whipping from side to side. "Hi there! What's your name darling?"

The small cub squeaked and started to run back to the tree where she had eben taught to sharpen her claws, after all the bare trunk stuck out quite a bit as she had attacked it rather viciously. She didn't make it that far though, she found some long grass in which she hid. That leaoprd was wrong! It was pink! leopards aren't pink!

The large female tilted her head in confusion and returned to an upright position. "I won't hurt you darling, I swear! I just wanna be friends!" It dawned on her soon after at that the leopard cub seemed to be all alone. Raising her head high a stretching her body so that she was almost stood on her tip-toes, she looked around. "Are your parents nearby sweetie? Because I could go find them for you if you're lost..." Saying that however, she didn't want to leave the little cub alone. "Why don't you come help me find your parents? Hm?" Her smile was warm and friendly, seemingly matching her personality as well as her physical appearence.

The little one hissed as she spoke about her parents. "You have no right talking about them!" She snarled a little and tried to remember how to climb a tree, why was it now of all times that her memory failed her?

The female bit the bottom of her mouth, a look of deep concern over-taking her rather delicate-looking features. "I'm sorry...really dear, I just wanna help! I can't leave you here all on your own..." Moving round the tree so that she could see the cub better, she smiled a little. "My name is Pinki'ukamili, but you can call me Pinki! Do you have a name darling?"

"Alana." She didn't say anything else and what she did say was rather quiet and hard to hear. Her blue eyes watched the pink leopard move around, she didn't try to remember the name as far as she was concerned she just wanted to get back to her friend!

Pinki smiled sweetly. "That's a lovely name!" Lying down do that she was at the cub's level, she tilted her head. "So Alana, are you out here all by yourself? Or are you with a friend or relative?" The leopardess hoped that the cub wasn't all alone, as that would again raise the question of where her parents were.

Alana wouldn't give away her friend, It wouldn't be fair. Instead she shook her head, "I am alone." Thats all she said watching the leopardess carefully, she was curious that was for certain!

"Oh...oh dear..." That was the only reply Pinki could manage, as various thoughts ran through her head. The cub became very defensive when she asked her about her parents, so maybe it would be best not to go there again. But she couldn't just leave a tiny, vulnerable cub out here all alone. "Erm...well, how long have you been alone for dear?"

She just watched the pink femme, she was cautious, her mother had taught her to be catious of everyone. "Not that long. I went wandering." She lied though it was partly true, she would have never wandered from her parents. She missed them so much.

Pinki tutted to herself, very unsure of what to do. All she knew was that she couldn't possibly just leave the cub on her own, as it would haunt her thoughts forever, not knowing whether or not the little one was OK. It seemed as though the only option was the opposite of leaving the cub. "Maybe...maybe you should come with me?"
The leopardess had always wanted to be a mother, but she had never even imagined anything like this happening.

Alana toyed with the idea in her head for a little while and then smiled. "Sorry, I cant." She then turned without looking back and managed to rush up a tree and leaped from one to another with difficulty. She wasn't use to others yet and she was a little afraid. So she ran back to the tree where the other leopard who was her only friend stayed sleeping.

Pinki was shocked by Alana's speed and before she could even climb the first tree, the little cub had disappeared from sight. "Alana!" The large leopardess wailed for a little while before sighing heavily, deciding that any attempt to find the cub now would be hopeless. "Just be careful, OK?" She called out into the Jungle, hoping that Alana could hear her. Lilac eyes narrowed as she continued to look on, she eventually sighed again and turned on her heels. After all that had happened, all she wanted to do was take a nice nap in the shade of a tree.
